The size is an 6 which is an 8US. I take an 8 1/2 and was told to order down a size; however, the shoe is too big even though it's a 1/2 size smaller than I would take. If I go down the next size, I'm sure it will be too small! I have decided to use them in the cold weather with heavy socks because they are very sharp looking!

These shoes are go-to for jeans or dresses. They dress-up nice. They will be stiff for the first handful of wears, but break-in nicely. They're heavy and sturdy Dr. Martens that will last.

I wanted so much to love these, but they did not love my feet. I have broken in multiple pairs of Docs, and the initial stiffness was not a concern. However my heel would just not stay inside the shoe when I walked, and breaking in the leather will not fix that. I have a wide ball of foot (bunions, yay) and a narrow heel. The shoes are medium width the whole length of the shoe, so it does not match my foot. For only a bit narrow heels, some pads would probably solve any slipping. The pointed toe does decrease the toebox space and makes them feel smaller than other Docs of the same size, but not so much that ordering a size up is necessary.

A very solid shoe. Made in the old style of mens loafers. Takes a while to break in, but worth it. They run big so order down a size.

Love the shoes but I wish they came in half sizes. But I made them work. Shoes look great casual or with slacks!

I bought these shoes after decided I needed more substantial shoes for work - my feet have grown very tired of ballet flats! These (like most Docs) were initially very stiff, but they broke in fairly quickly, and they are now very comfortable. They're incredibly stylish and look great with pants and skirts/dresses - I love them!

These are adorable! the break in period is a bit rough as they are the old fashioned hard leather Docs. But that is why they last forever and I can run around the city in them without a worry! The monk strap is adjustable so that helps too! They look great with dresses and with trousers/dress them up dress them down. They are super versatile!

These shoes are so well-made they would last a lifetime! Sadly they are too big for my feet and I am afraid the next size down would be too small. The sole is pretty stiff, so a pair of these shoes in a too small size would not be easy to break in without a lot of blisters so I am sending them back with great regret.

I love me some Doc Martens, but these were so big for a 9 and I'm a true 9. Now that spring is here, they just seem to dark and clunky so I'm returning.

Very cute and just unusual enough for me! Leather is very stiff though; prepare to take some time getting these broken in.

I have wide feet and these are too narrow for me. They are very nice looking shoes though.

I wore Docs all through high school and college, so I know about them being stiff at first. However, these were crazy stiff and uncomfortable. I could not get them to break in at all. They blistered my heels every single time I wore them. I have very narrow feet and these were tight, even after I moved the buckle over some. Had to go back, very sad.

Love me some Doc Martens - it's been years since I've updated mine (yes, they last forever) but I thought these would be really cute for fall, especially with the monk strap detail. These, however, run very narrow, and they also are extremely stiff, and honestly, I wasn't sure I'd be too keen on a long break-in period. Sadly they have to be returned.

I was so disappointed about these! I love the look but the size I usually am my foot was slipping out of. I went down a size and it was miserably tight. Oh well, I tried!

The toe box is so small I could barely get my foot into it. It hurt like heck and I knew that even if it would stretch to accommodate my foot there was no way I could handle the pain to do it.
