Awesome shoe for going out! They're pretty comfortable, although I wouldn't wear these shoes if walking a couple of miles or more. I do love the classic look of these shoes, though! I get compliments on these shoes all the time.

LOVE this shoe!! Down size 1/2 size for perfect fit!! They run BIG... Very urban, chic, cool.... Zappos ROCKS with delivery as well...I have a narrow foot so for me it is a little wider .. but SUPER comfortable...

I liked everything about these except that I couldn't put my custom orthotic in them. The insoles come out but the footbed has a built-in arch support.

These shoes are terrific for me. And I know that shoes fitting great is a very subjective thing, so my definition of "great" includes noticeable arch support, good toe box (not too tapered/narrow and does not slope down at the toe, which is an issue with Ecco for me), casual in a young way (I'm not young, so these are cool) and comfortable all day. I wear Asics every day, and am tired of the running-shoe look. Also, the Ahnu's are a bit better for colder weather in the Midwest.

These are good looking shoes. They do look great with jeans, and are nice enough to wear with nice casual. Immediately out of the box they felt comfortable, but there are a couple quirks. First, the arch support is really high. I have a fairly high arch, and I can feel this lump under my arch. It doesn't hurt, but it's not the most comfortable and you definitely wouldn't want these shoes if you are flat footed. Second, though the shoes are really comfortable, they don't have nearly enough cushion for me. I walked a few miles in them the first day and my feet were hurting by the end. You can pull out the insoles and replace them though, and I'm sure these would be really comfortable if you did that. The upper part of the shoe is a nice soft leather and is really comfy.

Great sneaker. I wanted a shoe I could wear for three weeks in Europe, and that didn't look too much like a running shoe. This looks much like a "keds" shoe which is popular in Europe, but nicer with the leather upper. I walked 100 miles, walking every day for 21 days and loved these shoes!

Love these shoes! When you can no longer wear your Converse or similar shoes because you need better support but don't want to give up and start wearing Easy Spirits, these are the ones to buy. I wish they didn't have the visible stitching but otherwise they're pretty cute and so comfortable I can wear them all day. I add my own insole for a bit more padding, otherwise these are great right out of the box. I have Ahnu hiking boots as well that I love - this brand ROCKS!

I really liked the sneaker, the way it looked and the price. However I felt the shoe rubbing against the bottom of my right ankle. I figured if they were brand new and they did that, perhaps they would continue. But, they were very cute and comfortable otherwise.

When I first put them on I thought they would need a bit of wearing in but the longer I wore them the more comfortable they felt. And I've worn them every day since! If you want something reasonably trendy but also comfortable these are the guys. And Zappos free postage and returns takes all the stress out of shoe buying.

shoe looks great, I was excited to own. I wear the size 11 M. I put a running sock on and then the shoe, it felt great. After 30 minutes of wearing around the house my left foot was aching as if it had no arch support or the arch was in the wrong place. Sadly, I must return these.

Runs very large. I ordered 10.5, but its almost an inch too long. Excellent arch support. Unfortunately no size 10 available.

These shoes came up high on the ankle for me. I prefer the fit and look of ECCO Chase II Tie. I bought and kept the ECCOs in marine.

Phenomenal shoes!!! I had been longing for a shoe similar to the Ecco Chase, but I always find Ecco shoes a bit too narrow. I've tried other Ahnu shoes and have not been able to get a good fit, but these have been perfect, once I went down 1/2 size. At first, I ordered my normal 8 1/2 but they were way too long, and when I checked for size 8, Amazon had the same shoe and the blue I wanted at quite a discount (just a lucky find). I have problem feet after several surgeries and was able to wear these right out of the box. The leather is very soft and conforms quickly to your foot. The support and cushioning in these shoes makes using my orthotic unnecessary; I did have to fashion some metatarsal pads to prevent my neuromas from returning, but I routinely make them myself out of Dr Scholl's mole-foam padding. I had these just a few days before leaving on a 3 week trip to France and never had a problem; I wore them every day, walking everywhere, including on cobblestone streets and many uneven, rocky surfaces. These shoes are nice and grippy! They look great with ankle pants and no-show sneaker socks, and also with jeans and warm socks as the weather gets cooler. I did find that the soft leather stretched out a bit, not in length but in overall roominess. I have since added basic, flat inserts underneath the Ahnu insole so that they still feel nice and snug. Just love these shoes and have since ordered the black!

LOVE these shoes. Super comfortable! Good arch support and pretty cute and retro too. I did send them back only because the heel area was a bit too wide. I ended up with the Ecco Chase (amazing). If you are looking for a great walking shoe that is not a gym shoe check these out.

I really like these shoes, it is my first pair of Ahnu. I ordered 4 different brands of sneakers and these were the most comfortable but they felt a half size larger than the other shoes. I wish I had exchanged them for a half size smaller but I have now worn them and can't. I suggest if you are unsure order both your regular size and down a half size.

I love the style of these shoes! I found them to be cut high and bumping into my ankle bones on the outside, I followed the advice of another reviewer and added small heel lifts under the soles and that took care of the problem. I ordered up a half size and still found the toe box to be a bit snug. I am a size 8 medium. I will keep them but they definitely aren't long distance walking shoes for my feet anyway.

I had such high hopes for these shoes due to other reviewers. They are super cute but wern't as comfortable for my difficult foot. If you do order them, try half a size smaller or even a full size!

Just returned from trip to Europe and these were excellent for traveling and walking! I did have to reorder a smaller size as I didn't listen to other reviewers:( I had Ahnu hikers in an 8 so thought I needed the 7.5 but I needed the 7.0. I did add a gel insert but that was is usually my personal preference.

I bought these shoes for an upcoming European trip that will include a lot of walking over a three week period. They are comfortable,cute, and fit perfectly. They didn't even need to be broken in, they were comfortable right out of the box.

This is my new favorite shoe. While Ahnu is generally a great shoe, some are better than others. This pair of shoes felt great right out of the box. I absolutely love the quality! I got the black shoes which came with grey shoe laces but, if that isn't your cup of tea, another set of black laces was in the box too! I do not use my orthotic with this particular shoe, but if you took the insert out, you could slip one in. (You may need to size up for that) I personally find no need for an orthotic with this supportive, comfortable shoe.

Really comfortable. The look is Converse but with a bit of arch and much softer insole.

This is my second pair of Ahnu's and they did not disappoint! Comfortable right out of the box, felt true to size, and they are excellent quality. I love the blue color and choice of white or blue laces. It's the middle of summer here in Phoenix and the leather did not feel too hot to wear.

I'm so sad! These just don't fit. I have Ahnu hiking boots in a size 9, they're great — but the size 9 in these is just too long — but also too narrow, so sizing down won't work. They look great and I'm disappointed — and very jealous of the many 5-star reviews.

I LOVE this shoe!!! I bought these to wear on a trip to Europe. They were the only shoes I brought on the trip. I wore them everyday, for two weeks straight. I walked 10 to 12 miles a day, on hills, flat city streets, and up and down stairs. They are SO comfortable! I didn't get any blisters or sore spots. They do have a little extra room, in the toe. I felt that it was the right amount of room, for a walking shoe. I wear a size 8. That is the size I ordered and the fit was/is good.
