Ordered a half size up from my Chuck size. The shoes seem longer and slightly pointed up at the end compared to the lower priced line of converse shoes. These, like the 1970 Chucks, have nicer material, construction, etc but just still miss the bar; ever since Nike took over they have been ruining a classic American shoe whether it's Chucks or Jacks. The higher price doesn't account for what they used to sell for half that in 2011 and, by the way, what is that glossy film they paint on the rubber toe and foxing?! The air zoom insole hurt my feet, the shoes felt narrow yet clunky and the inner layer of canvas near the toe started falling down after a couple weeks. I've been forced to start wearing Vans for my summer sneaker fix.

Wanted to love these, but found them oversize, heavy and clunky feeling. I take a 9 normally and my feet are on the narrow side. These felt more like a 9.5 on me.

I have owned these shoes for 8 months now and they are falling apart. I do not wear these every day and I have only hand washed them. You'd think a pair of shoes that cost this much would last longer than a year. The adhesive attaching the soles has worn off and the soles are falling off. The stitching is also falling apart and the heels have frayed. The laces have held up nicely though.

These were the most uncomfortable tennis shoes I have ever worn. Different pieces of the canvas rubbed my skin. I wore them for only 3 hours and my feet were red in places.

Poorly made. Glue is separating at the bottom after little use. I own many pairs of converse and all hold up better... Perhaps this pair was a dud.
