I am a huge fan of Birkenstocks & have myself, been wearing them for about 15 years. I decided to invest in a pair for my daughter bc she has a pretty bad pronation when she walks & regular flip flops aren't great for her growing ankles & feet. She was super excited to get these pretty pink Birkies but literally within a week, half the pink had been scratched or worn off. Zappos was awesome & sent us a replacement pair but again, within a couple days, the pink is scratched & worn off. I love Birks & think they are great for kids. Just pass on these with the pink material bc they don't last. I'd go for the silver bc when the pink rubbed off, they were silver underneath. I would love for Zappos to allow us to post images with our reviews so you could see how bad they look now! Love Zappos, love Birks, but now we have two pair of crappy looking shoes. :/

Got these for my 8 year-old daughter and she loves them. They look great with everything and are very comfortable. Walked all over Disney without a problem.

The sandals were great for a week. It’s a hard for her to find Birkenstock’s That fit, because they do not make them wide enough. The pink cane completely off and it looks grey silvery. Her toes to slip out of the sides but she wants to match her sisters so bad. Please bring wide widths for our little ones with super chubby feet. Chubby feet need love to

My soon-to-be 7 year old was begging for a pair of Birks to be “just like mommy.” I purchased these Gizehs in metallic copper, and just like my Arizonas in this color, I LOVE them. I originally bought a 31 (13-13.5) since she seems to be on the verge of growing out of her size 12 shoes at home. They were huge! Luckily Zappos has such easy returns! I repurchased in a 30 (12-12.5) and they fit perfectly. I always purchase a size down in Birks for myself, so I should have known sizing up was a bad idea! I would just buy your child’s regular size in these. She’s had them for two months, wears them every day, and we have had zero issues with quality. The price is definitely worth it. The way I look at it, they are good for their growing feet, and I could either purchase a few pairs of crappy shoes for the summer, or one pair of quality ones! Quality always wins in my house. And plus, these can be passed down to her little sister. You can’t do that with cheap shoes!

These were perfect for my 9 year old with narrow feet. We ordered the size 3 narrow and they fit like a glove, which is nearly impossible for this kiddo. The arch support helps correct her pronation. This will be her first pair of flip flops... the first I have found that will be supportive enough for her feet and ankles. And she LOVES the rose gold color. Super cute!

Ordered these for my niece. She loves them and they are super comfy. Very happy with these little Birks.

As an adult I LOVE my Gizeh's bc they're comfy and I can wear them all day, I figured my daughter would feel the same. She's a big fan and has worn them since they came out of the box.

Good I would buy again

Usually wear an 11.5 kids and the 12-12.5 fit well.

I ordered a size 2 for my daughter which is her sneaker size. I had to return them for a size 3. She could have worn the 2 but would have outgrown them before the end of the summer. The size 3 is perfect and she has room to grow. Definitely consider ordering 1 size up if you want them to fit longer.

It’s true to size as in doesn’t leave too much room to grow. I’d go up a size. Daughter loves!

Daughter loves these. Good arch support. Pretty, sparkly, shiny (just what an 8 year old likes) - good with summer dresses. Good quality of course since they are Birks.

My daughter has wide feet and is very particular about her clothing and shoes. These she chose for her Easter outfit. They are even more attractive in person.

I just bought a pair of these for my daughter at a local shoe shop and am so grateful that Birkenstock makes a shoe for kids. Our family is on a tight budget with most of our kids' clothes coming as hand me downs from friends or from used children's clothing stores. But we always buy good shoes for their feet. My daughter has an inward pronation that requires inserts and sandals are always tricky for us, because even the good ones like Stride Rite don't offer her the support she needs and wearing her inserts with sandals just doesn't work. The Birkenstock food bed mimics her insert, however, so we are hoping these will work well for us. They are still new to her so I'll update my review later if necessary.

Fit and size were okay - color was ugly.

These are very comfortable shoes. I purchased them for my daughter. I have a few pairs myself in leather. Unfortunately after a short time the color started wearing off. Right now most of the color is gone but the rest of the shoe is hardly warn.

I agree with the other reviewer-- why did Birkenstock stop making the regular (wide) width for size 34? These are fantastic shoes, but it's so disappointing that my true size is unavailable!

Love this shoe and so does my daughter. It only comes in a narrow width which truly perplexes me. Unfortunately they don't offer 34's in women's sizes so we are just plain out of luck.
