I absolutely love these shoes. They have more structure than the classic Chuck Taylors and have enough cushion to walk in them all day without your feet hurting at the end of the day. The only minor complaint I have is the padded tongue being too much but I guess that is all part of the look. They are so comfortable and they look great!

These are comfortable! The padding in the back wards off chaffing the heel. Black always works. Hey, I like 'em!

These are a great alternative to regular Chuck Taylors. More comfort through better padding, while keeping the classic style that we're all familiar with. These fit me exactly the same way my 2 pairs of Chucks do, but just feel more comfy. However, there's some slight arch support, which is probably the most significant difference.

This is a very narrow shoe. If you have wide feet, they will not fit. It seems like they took a shoe and put a bunch of padding in it. Very disappointed. Back they go!

The padding was incredibly comfortable and I have a pair of pants that will match the bleached aqua trim perfectly!

Love them! True to size! A great add to my collection. I did get them a half size larger than normal due to the extra padding inside. Perfect!

Overall I really like these shoes. They are more padded all around than the 5 stars I had for my last pair of Converse. The padding around the ankle is nice. The insole seems to have a little more support than the five star (still not like a real athletic shoe). The tongue is padded which can make the shoe feel a little tight if you have a high instep. My one warning is that this shoe is very narrow - it works out well for me, but I suspect many people will find it snug. On the whole this is a great shoe, if you want the Converse look but need a little more structure.

Overall, I really like these. Sizing ran true for me, and they're pretty comfortable. I wore them thru Disneyland and was fine. The only issue I had was with the tongue, which is padded on this style; it rubs my ankle, sometimes, so I have to shift it over to the side a bit. Also, if you like to "age" your Converse, be aware that the body of the shoe is different than the heel fabric. The body faded for me, but the heel and laces remained a true black - the two-tone is kind of cool, tho :)

I bought the burgundy colored, which they apparently do not have anymore. But I wanna say that it was not as durable as I thought it would be. I've worn it for about 3 months and the sides are starting to detach from the shoes? I don't know if it is because I crouch too much but this has never happened to my other shoes. But overall they look great and is very comfortable, just a little disappointed about its durability.

These shoes are nice and comfortable but the padding makes them a little too tight. You cannot tie the laces properly due to them being too thick at the front.

I really like these shoes. They look great and are comfortable. They are the first Chucks I've owned, and I'll be buying another pair after these wear out.

The shoe looks great although there is a lot of padding and makes my foot look huge! But even after wearing them many times, they still rub my little toes and big toes on both feet raw! My other Converse shoes are like that so I’m done with Converse. Too bad cause they are so cool looking!

I liked this shoe. The footbed was very comfortable, but unfortunately it runs very narrow. I have narrow feet, too, so I thought it would be okay. It was pretty tight and would probably rub blisters. Going back.

I couldn't even wear them for an 8 hour work day, they were digging into my heels by 11am. I had to go out and buy a new pair. I was able to return them with no trouble, so for that, I am extremely happy with this purchase. Spend your money at Zappos.com; just not on this pair of shoes!

These felt weird. I thought the extra cushioning would feel comfy, but instead the shoes just felt kind of weirdly bloated and squishy. The shoes were more cushioned than usual Chucks but not like sneakers; I was expecting that this added padding would help with the arch support that regular Chucks so sorely lack. Visually I thought the shoe looked a bit oddly bulky...and the padded tongue looked and felt weird as hell. Also: I had to go up a half-size from my usual, and my toes were still a bit pinched. It's like the cushioning in the shoe threw everything off.

soooo not a women's 10 1/2. More like an 11 1/2.... Ordered a different Converse in a women's size 10 and it was too small. I'm ALWAYS a 10 1/2. Sizing is wayyyy off.
