Simply great! They look cool in a "I don't give a damn" sort of way. They are probably the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Look great with jeans!

Excellent walking shoes. Very comfortable and encourages proper foot placement.

These shoes are stylish and super-comfortable. They were a bit tight when I first tried them on, but they have since worn in nicely. I can walk and be on my feet in them for much of the day without getting sore feet or legs or back, etc. It's a steep price, but worth the money in my opinion.

If you like Birkenstocks, now you have one you can wear anywhere and not look like... well, you know. Very comfortable and look like a slightly wider than usual casual loafer. I love them. Wear them every day.

This is a really nice pair of shoes. Birkenstock comfort with the look of a regular shoe. Very attractive and well made.

These are pretty nice shoes. I had to get the next size larger than what I use for sandals, to accommodate for socks. Birkenstocks are good for people who have plantar fasciitis. I did not realize that Birkenstock made anything other than sandals, so I am thrilled to be able to wear these all winter.

I currently own (6) pairs of Birkenstocks (Arizona, Boston, London, Milano), and have been wearing Birks for 30+ years. The Duma is the first style I couldn't wear. I ordered my usual size 43, which arrived promptly (love Zappos!) Beautiful design, supple leather. But they were tight. Tight over the top of my feet, tight in the heels. I wore them in my home for about two hours, and knew they were going to be trouble. I returned them, in exchange for size 44. The 44's arrived. Amazingly, both shoes were now much too large in the heel area. I could slip my index finger down the back of my Achille's and heel with ease. Walking, my socked feet lifted clear out of the shoe. I couldn't imagine walking up or down steep stairways in Italy with any confidence. I did not want to resort to thick, hot backpacking-style socks, as I intended to wear my usual Wrightsock CoolMesh II's with these. So, sadly, the Dumas went into the box. A size 43 wide may have resolved this issue, but the Duma is only available as a narrow/medium. Too bad.
