I have 6 pairs of AE shoes and will have more for sure. Just this pair of cavanaugh was a big disappointment because first it runs really small so I had to try a few different sizes until I get one that fits me. I normally wear 7.5 D and for this one I eventually got 8.5D. Then both soles got detached from their uppers near big toes shortly after, and they became unwearable. Its been sitting on my shoe rack for a while and I'm thinking if i should repair them or just throw them away.. To be fair the shoes are beautiful. I was very happy wearing them but you have to be lucky with the size and the quality. Wish I could upload a picture.

This product came with clear color glitches and holes in the leather.

The right shoe is much roomier than the left. Leather won't take a decent shine. I made alterations to them or I would return. Not the same quality I expected from Allen Edmonds.

Heel did not feel right. To easy to slip off. .I take a 10EEE in all my dress shoes and this does not fit like all my other 10EEEs Concerened about all the negative reviews. These are expensive shoes and I do not want to be stuck with a problem in the near future. I like the style and especially the color Easy to slip off. Returned them and ordered another style that I hope fits.

Width was fine, but very loose in the heel. Does not seem to be true to size. I've had this problem before with Allan Edmunds loafers.

Purchased these shoes in store but had them shipped to me because they didn't have my size/color in store. I have multiple other pairs of AE which all fit great and I like very much. This shoe runs very narrow and small even compared to other loafers. I have the Verona which fit me well but these are completely different. My first time wearing them, the finish cracked and it was obvious the leather was very dried out. They are not made with the same quality leather as other shoes offered. I took them back to get stretched and treated to help the break in but it didn't really do anything unfortunately. Ive worn them 10-15 times at this point but will be wearing them anymore.
If you're deciding between on other AE shoes, I would not go with these. Perhaps even consider other brands for a this style.

The shoe had a beautiful color however the quality of the leather of the uppers was poor. The right shoe's leather came very creased and wrinkled out of the box.

I will start off by saying I have 4 pairs of the Park Avenue shoe, love them, comfortable, etc.
I have been looking for a loafer for a while now, so I decided to go with this shoe. BIG MISTAKE The shoe is horribly uncomfortable, I have owned them for several months now, I try wearing them to get them to break in and the pain is unbearable. The size is way off from the other AE shoes. I wear 7 in the Park Avenue, so I bought a size 7 and they were cutting off the circulation they were so tight. So I took them in and exchanged for a 7.5. These fit, but the pain is awful. AE should be ashamed of themselves for this product, which I was told is not made in the U.S.

Too narrow, too short. Sole is already delaminating in front on one shoe. Stiffest shoe I've every put on. Looks nice but not great.
