Tried the Tampa and loved the style but was disappointed that it was too wide. Then, I did a little reading - the Item Descriptions of similar-looking Naot sandals describe the Tampa as Medium width; the Ipanema, on the other hand, is a Narrow to Medium width. Voila! I have my dream sandal. The Ipanema does not share the higher platform of the Tampa but that's small change compared to its all-around style and comfort. Glad I didn't give up. Also glad that Zappos' includes the informative descriptions.

Many years ago (like 25) I had the Naot Tampa and loved them. Thought I'd try again. After receiving, although vey comfy for my medium width foot I decided I didn't want the higher platform. So I tried the Naot Alana which was too narrow which led me to the Naot Ipanema. It had the width of the Tampa and the lower platform of the Alana. Very comfy and great support for everyday wear. Looks great with casual skirts & dresses for summer as well as capris, shorts, and leggings. I wear a size 7 and in Naot I take a 38. In Dansko though I usually take a 37.

This sandal has Naot's strongest, shapliest footbed--excellent for those, like me, who have arch and metatarsal issues. But sizing is a problem, as usual with Naot and other non-American shoe brands (I'm including here Birkenstock), if you have narrow feet. I ordered a size 40 (I am a 9 1/2 AA), and the shoe just fell off my foot. I think it must be at least a C width. I'm re-ordering in a 39 now, hope that will address the issue, and that my long big toe won't stick out and rub against the ridge of the sole in front. Naot, you have excellent shoes--please start taking 'narrow' seriously!!

I ordered Ipanema and Alana in size 10. Alana fits like a normal width and Ipanema is definitely wider. I kept the Alana and returned Ipanema. Both are well made and stylish!

These shoes are true to Naot excellence! Always fit great and are comfortable and stylish. Love every Naot shoe I have ever bought!

This shoe was comfortable and though I didn't keep it seemed as though it would require no break in period. I found it a little difficult to keep on my foot and was pretty sure it would be even more of a problem once the fabric stretched. Very casual.

I love these. It’s a cross between my favorite 90’s shoe and a Birkenstock. These do run more true to size than Birks. I’m a 9-9.5 but in Birks I wear a 39. In these the 9 fit perfectly. This shoe is a medium with compared to their 2 similar sizes. Perfect for my medium-almost wide foot. Sooooo cute they are.

Previously ordered the Tampa - too wide (returned) Next ordered the Alana - too narrow (gave to my daughter) Then ordered the Ipanema & as Goldilocks said "It is just right"

I had a pair of these shoes 10 years ago. I just had foot surgery, and thought they would give my foot good support with the stretch top, so I ordered again. The stretchy top is so wide that I can place half of my hand into it. I am disappointed, and will return. Great service from Zappos! I ordered on Friday afternoon , they arrived on Saturday!

Comfy but the elastic top (which is very wide) will be too hot for my feet in the summer. It also felt very loose. I'll be sending these back.

I read the reviews of the Alana, Ipanema, and the third one (can’t remember the style) and decided this one would probably fit me best. Very comfy and cushy feel, yet feels like it conforms to my foot exactly from the first time I put it on. But, it does go slap slap (like flip flops) as I walk unless I take very tiny steps. But for comfort these are great. Don’t know yet how long it takes for them to stretch (I don’t want them to stretch because they fit just right now).

Just received these and so far I love them! The top is fabric and was super fitted initially but I think has stretched out just enough. So comfortable and perfect for casual day or summer dress at night.

Loved the shoe, fit well but hesitant with its' particular stretch material that after a month or so it'd bag out even a little bit thereby loosening. Other's may have a different shaped a bit wider foot where it may not be an issue. I'm a 38 (7.5) medium. Decided to return.

I have been having a problem with my foot and it is a little swollen so I had to put up with a little discomfort but I like the looks of the shoe and I love the brand NAOT. The thing I appreciate the most is how quickly I received a delivery. You are the greatest. Not including a photo. sorry

I love Naots. They are so well made, good for you and attractive. I would’ve kept them but I needed something that could look a little dressy and these definitely cannot. For casual wear they look cool, the way Birkenstocks can look cool these days. My past Naots lasted FOREVER and were great walking sandals.

The band across the top presses on my little toe and would have created a problem. Great looking. Band too tight for me

Perfect fit BUT hit a spot which repeatedly gets sore if a shoe hits wrong. I'm sad - these look good on.

This sandal fit my narrow foot well. I liked the look and feel of it but I felt it did not provide enough support for me. Sadly it was not a keeper.

Footbed runs quite large. I have two other pairs of Naot sandals, the Ashley and Kayla style, both the same size. This style is way too wide for my medium size foot. Bummed out that I had to return.

Footbed on right foot seemed short for me. Overall weight of the shoe also seemed too heavy for me.

Sweet, comfortable, and a pleasure to wear. Dress up and down nicely.

Such a cute & comfortable slide. However, with my narrow feet AA, these are too wide.

Ordered both the Alana and Ipanema, as they look very similar in the photos. Ipanema runs wider than this footbed style typically does. This shoe also has a ridge around the front edge of the toes that I think I might find uncomfortable even if it fit properly. That said, I did like the shape of the footbed better than the Alana.

I have a wide foot yet this shoe is too wide for my liking. I love Naot, and the Alana is the perfect fit for me. I thought I'd try this shoe as it's style looks similar in the pic. Might work well for others.

I really wanted to love this shoe but I wore it around my house for a few days and it hurt the top of my foot. :(
