Really, cute and comfortable shoe.

Cute shoes. More fashionable than comfort.

These were true to size but wide in the heel. I felt like I couldn't keep them on my feet. They were otherwise comfortable and nice looking shoes.

I usually wear an 8.5 in athletic shoes, but these were huge. Didn't like enough to try a size down.

Very cute and generally comfortable for everyday tennis shoes. Run pretty narrow.

These are really great looking sneakers but do not have the support that I am used to with New Balance. I know they are more of a fashion sneaker but arch support should be in all shoes, especially at this price. They also run true to size. Comfortable shoe. Good looking shoe. It's a little more narrow than their usual and the shoe laces are a bit short. Otherwise still glad I got them. The shoe has stretched a little bit since I have worn them. In a good way.

Runs small, order a half size up

Super cute shoes but minimal support and seemed at bit tight length wise. Not for me but great style!

These fit perfectly! I love this pair of shoes, it is totally the American version of 996; It is classic, stylish and comfortable. And the logo "N" is more sparkling than what it looks in the picture, beautiful!

These are very cute! They definitely run narrow in the toe box! I don't usually have problems with that, so I'm thinking they must be exceptionally narrow. They've stretched out nicely after a day of wear, however. If you normally have a problem with shoes being too narrow, I would steer clear of these. They're very comfy after stretching a bit - good amount of cushion. I came back to order the gray pair, but they were already out of stock. :(

Really liked the style and light weight feel of these shoes but had to return as the back of the shoe hit right on my ankle bone and within minutes had rubbed a sore spot on my foot.

Overall this fit well but it made my foot look squat. The toe is a little tight for my wide feet. I'm sending them back.

I would buy 1 sized up. It was tight in the shoe box. Nice soles though.

Great style but poor construction. The forefoot fabric bends and rubs into the top of the foot on every step. No real arch support and not a lot of room for inserts.

I was so excited to see the dark grey color in the 696. It is my favorite pair of shoes and I was looking for a darker color for the winter season. Much to my surprise when I opened the box I found the fabric was actually glittery. Couldn't tell that from the pictures online. So much for a great neutral shoe. So disappointing.

Shoe felt too long

I absolutely loved the styling of these when I saw them. The tweed sections and the sparkle crackle logo look fresh. I normally wear a 7.5 in all shoe types, and I also used a size adviser on another website to select the 7.5 in these. I could barely get my foot in because the toe box was so narrow. I had read a couple of reviews stating that they were narrow, but I decided to give them a try because the "classic" styling actually looked boxy to me online. I did not even try on both shoes, as the first one was so ridiculously uncomfortable. They also look silly, IMHO, with such a pointy toe box on this style of shoe. I cannot speak to the quality or anything else. I never buy New Balance shoes, but I might try another style some other time.

What happened to New Balance? These shoes had no arch support in the shoe or built into the liner.

This shoe is very cute. Unfortunately it was too narrow for my wide foot. I have bunions and don't think I could walk around for any length of time in them. It's too bad because I really liked them.

Cheap, flimsy shoe with no support. Thought I'd kick it back old school with some classics, but some things are not meant to be revisited. Returned.

This tennis shoe is very narrow and I have stopped wearing them at all because as a RN, I am on my feet 13-14 hours at a time, and this shoe squeezes my toes so badly that they turn tingly and then numb. Crazy right? Will never again buy this brand. They are cute though but unfortunately, for work, my shoes have to be more than just stylish.

I ordered the pink pair and I was so excited to receive these shoes. When I opend the box, they were mauve. Not pink at all. Was very disappointed in the color. Will return - not true to color!
