I ordered a 10.5 wide and the over all fit of the shoe is good. My only criticism is that the shoe's tongue is a little clumsy and stiff making it somewhat difficult to tie. Perhaps I just need to wear the shoes to soften up the material. There are better fitting New Balance shoes if you're willing to spend more money. I was just looking for a basic white shoe and not necessarily one intended for athletic performance.

Fit was right on a little snug at first but they are GREAT

I miss the old 812 style, these have some odd mesh. Plus, New Balance no longer makes an 11 1/2, so I’m stuck with 12 AA which are too big. Please make shoes for large narrow feet!

This shoe has a wider toe box which suits my wide feet but the heels feel a bit large for my feet. Keep in mind that everyone's feet are shaped differently and this shoe may fit someone else perfectly.

My podiatrist recommended New Balance shoes and I have been wearing them almost exclusively since I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis a few years ago. I am somewhat limited in styles since I require both Rollbar and removable inserts for my orthotics. The 813 was a pleasant surprise both for price and fit. I wear a size 8D and this shoe fits true to size for me. Although it has slightly less arch support than other styles that I wear, overall it is the softest and most comfortable shoe of any that I own. There is only one reason I could not give it a 5 star rating. If I lace the shoe all the way to the very top hole, it hits my ankle and the pressure is uncomfortable. Otherwise this is the best New Balance shoe I've bought so far.
