This was a Christmas gift for our niece. She prefers these shoes with the roll bar technology due to breaking her ankles a few years ago. These shoes help prevent her from rolling her ankle. She loves them and was in desperate need for a new pair...her old ones were falling apart!

I bought a pair of white NB 813 and the hiking shoes. I have been dividing my time wearing both of those. The black ones will be for more "dressy" occasions.

I use this black shoe/sneaker at various events except for the most formal settings. It's comfortable, my arch is supported well and I've had people stop me for a recommendation for these.

I like the style because it's dark and not a lot of noticeable brand names on it, so it's appropriate for work as well as casual. The shoes are comfortable for walking or standing..

These are the best sneakers! I wear them all the time. I have to wear braces and I couldn't find a more comfortable shoe to wear with them.

I use the leather shoes in cold weather as they keep my feet warmer.

I have several types of problems with my feet and I found that New Balance has the only shoe I can wear comfortably on my daily walks. The doctor recommended I walk a mile or two daily all year around. In the winter I like these hook and loop shoes because they are more waterproof and warmer than the mesh New Balance shoes I usually wear. I have 3 pair of the mesh shoes for inside, outside and gardening. I now have two pair of the hook and loop shoe so I have a back up pair. They do run a little smaller than my previous New Balance shoes, but ordering up a half size was perfect.

This is the only walking shoe I wear. The Velcro ties are key for me. If they go I go as well.

My walking shoes are great. I like that they are all leather and will be easy to keep clean. They are easy to put on unlike the pair I had previously.

So glad I can still buy these shoes. I am a huge fan of Velcro as I have arthritis and can't bend over to tie laced style shoes.

I wear them everywhere. My feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I'm flat footed and the left shoe rolled outward on every pair of shoes until I got the 813's. Need more cushioning. 4E is too big. Just wish they were slip resistant and purple. Love the roomy toe area.

I needed to replace my walking shoes which were several years old. (My old pair of New Balance 811 shoes were still in great shape except for the sole.) The 813 model is true to size and really fit well. I really like the sturdy construction. The only complaint I have is that they changed the laces to be flat instead of round. I much prefer the round type because they don't get twisted, they seem to be more durable, and they stay tied much better.

I'm a diabetic, my podiatrist recommended this shoe and it fits my custom orthotics.

My aunt's orthopedic suggested this brand of shoe to her so I brought these for her birthday and she loves them.
