I am normally a size 6 but needed a size 5 in this style. Otherwise, a great causal sneaker.

so I love these shoes. but the sizing is ridiculous. I typically wear between a 6.5 and a 7. so I read the reviews to size down a bit and ordered the 6. they were HUGE! like falling off of me while walking huge. so i returned for the 5.5. again HUGE! falling off while walking and totally not comfortable because my foot did not feel like it was securely in the shoe. returned yet again for the 5. at this rate, I am now a FULL 2 shoe sizes under where my standard size should fit. the 5 is honestly still a little bigger than what I wanted but I feel bad exchanging these for a 3rd time and am just going to deal with it. But like @adidas what gives you guys? you are a massive, reputable brand… why is your sizing SO FAR off? These say “women’s superstars”. are they in fact unisex? if this was the case I suppose the sizing would make more sense. But then tell people so they know what size to order that will accurately fit one’s foot! I have a lot of other adidas shoes and while they all do run about 1/2 size big- this is insane. nevertheless, I do love the way these look now that they aren’t so big they look like clown shoes :) but size 5? seriously? hopefully this review helps those of you shopping for these so you know to buy AT LEAST 1.5 to 2 full shoe sizes down from your standard shoe size. also the Zappo’s customer support person was a total class act in helping me navigate this! so thank you for that! :)

I don't understand why it is so common now for sneakers to be made with no arch support and no cushioning but I'm not into it. These looked cute, but they weren't very comfortable and they had lots of heel slip.

I have had a pair of this sort of style adidas before and loved them. The tongue on this shoe is cheaply made. It’s not padded like other similar styles. It’s going back.

Even though I bought these a half size smaller than I normally wear they still slip off my heels when walking.

I usually wear a 10 but since everyone says the Superstar runs bigger I ordered a half size down. That half size was totally not working for me so I could have gone down one full-size. I am not returning them because I am using inserts and socks (both) to make sure these don’t fly off my feet while I’m walking fast. I’m not sure why Adidas makes these so large. I also noticed that this style of Adidas is not as readily available as it had been.

Very cute but I didn’t like the fit. I typically wear a woman’s 9-9.5, have a narrow foot and high in-step. 8 was too snug around my toes and 8.5 was too big. So I ended up returning both and deciding it wasn’t the shoe for me!

These shoes are so cute! I normally wear a 8.5/9m in sneakers, but had to order a 7.5m in these to prevent my heel from slipping out the back. I bought the only pair left in the black/gold style in 7.5 and I could tell that I was sent a used shoe. The insole of the left shoe had a gross brown stain on it. The outer heel of the left shoe also had a scuff stain. It's unfortunate because these shoes are so cute.

Love the shoes. But, my experience was disappointing as I received a pair of shoes that had been worn before. I have never had this happen before when ordering from Zappos. I will be less likely to buy here again as I paid for brand new shoes, not ones someone had worn a few times and returned.

WAY oversized. Order a full size down

I bought these in white/solar red (which to me is orange) and they were super stylish looking but I was disappointed with the quality. They felt very stiff and uncomfortable right out of the box. When I tried them on, the tongue logo (at least on the orange pair) rather than being printed right on the tongue had an annoying leather (maybe) strap that folded over the top of the tongue. When you lace up the shoe, that stiff logo strap rubs on the front of your ankle. They also seemed to run a bit narrow. I don't have wide feet but I felt the toe box was really crowded and I didn't feel my toes had enough room. Sadly, I returned them.

Love the Superstar and loved this color. Just don't like the weird plastic thingies on the laces. Thought I might be able to remove them but they are laced in a very complex way. If I removed it and re-laced, the laces would be too long. I am too lazy to buy new laces.

I have these sneakers in the suede version and I love them. These sneakers were not as comfortable on me and my usual size 10 felt a half size too big. I sadly returned them.

My bad for not reading reviews, These are huge. Will try a full size down, as others have mentioned

Looks great but runs big

The tongue rubs on my foot a bit uncomfortably, and they took awhile to break in.

I really wanted them too fit but they really run big and lack support where I really needed on the inside step.

At least one size larger

I LOVE these shoes and the classic style. However, my very wide feet (post surgery and went flat during pregnancies) just can not be comfortable in these very narrow shoes. If you have slender feet, get these. They are fabulous. But I even ordered a men's version after trying these women's version and they were still too narrow. :( Oh, how I wish they offered wide. I love these shoes soooooo much. But my feet are not cooperating.

They fit at least 1/2 a size larger.

Runs big, slides up and down on heel. Not nearly as comfortable or well designed as my Veja urca. I returned.
