I like this backpack. I wish there was a lot more room though for all my books for college. But the sleeve for the laptop is great and I love the style, so it suites me well.

Used for college - I was looking for a bag that would provide my back and shoulders with support since walking would be apart of my daily routine. This bag provides that and more! Each compartment is super deep which provides a lot of storage. The holders on the side are stretchy and can accommodate both my umbrella and a s'well 17 oz water bottle. One of my biggest concerns was the color, but in person the blue provides the perfect contrast to the black! My only issues were that it's hard to adjust the straps and one of the little blue tags for the zippers fell off the first day I had it. Overall, it's worth it!

I got this backpack for college this fall. It is super cute and very functional. Seems to have plenty of room for my laptop, books. supplies, etc. Have not used it yet but when I took it out of the package it was very stiff and seems a bit uncomfortable. I am hoping it will loosen up once I break it in.

For school. Functional Long lasting

This is one of the best backpacks a college student can have. I has more pockets than any other and space for a laptop or tablet. One con is the fact that the backpack is kinda stiff but hopefully that will change throughout the wear of it.

I bought this for my daughter who will attend college after summer, she loves it! It is good for both school and traveling. I will buy it again!

This is my school backpack and I like the outside appearance. I wish it was a little bigger so I could fit more books inside.

Beautifully constructed and designed, though small interior space. This bag was a gift, and the recipient is expected to carry oodles of school supplies, a computer, and a lunch inside the bag - there's no way it'll comfortably manage that load. I thought the wide top might mean that the bag was large capacity overall, but I was disappointed to find that, when compared to a different North Face backpack I have that's four years old, and compared to a cheap backpack purchased online, this bag fits about 70% of the stuff I can cram in the other two bags. Other than this disappointment, the bag is a lovely color, has many nooks and crannies plus 2 water bottle holders for organized carrying, is well-constructed, and I expect years of service from it.

My high school daughter is very excited to use her booksack. Since it is of excellent quality, I am one happy mom knowing she will getgreat use out of it!

I ise it for school

I travel a lot plus I take my laptop everywhere with me,the padding on the back of the bag is great doesn't bend n protects my MacBook.

I use the Borealis primarily to transport my camera equipment around, since the only bag I had was not a backpack. It works great since I can put my tripod, mics, batteries, lenses, and anything else I might need in the many pockets. I will be using this for school soon, and I know it can fit my laptop and books and stuff as well. However, it can be hard to access some stuff deeper down which is slightly annoying because you have to take out other stuff on top, but that's understandable. Still a great pack!

I was able to store my laptop, books, tablet, pens, and journal in this backpack. After sometime it became heavy because of all that I put in there. I love the design, and the back has pads that are soft so there's not a lot of tension in the back. It also has straps that allow you to fit more stuff if you need to that will still secure your items. It's has various pockets and the inside of them are extremely soft. For some reason I was expecting more but the bag itself works for me. I'm a first year college student and as you can imagine I desperately needed a bag that could do various things, and this one is it!

I bought this bag to use as a carry-on and I love it. It holds everything I need on the plane without being to bulky. I also use it for short trips visiting family. It's a great all around bag!

I love the look of this backpack. However it doesn't have a place to store the waist straps like the older version of this backpack. For someone who's mainly using this backpack for college, the waist straps aren't necessary, and look funny just dangling. Other than wishing it had pockets to stuff the waist straps into, I would recommend this backpack to anyone for any use.

This is great to get back and forth from work on a bike with a laptop and all necessary items to hit the gym as well. Plenty of room, protective pocket for computer, comfortable to wear while walking or cycling. Also used as a carry on for travel to hold electronics, day use of clothes and accessories and everything is easy access. Ready to try it out for hiking and outdoor day use.

I use this backpack for school as well as traveling! It is very comfortable and durable! It holds all my supplies, books and my computer!

To expensive

I love all the north face products. They are always very well made and wash well. Best product on the market.

I am planning to use this backpack for school this year. I love the colors (I got the black and ice blue) but the shape did feel odd on my back. I put my laptop in though and it seems fine. I have had north face backpack for years and they are amazing. My old one lasted me all four years of high school and is still in great condition!

Love this pack only thing is what I mentioned earlier I wish the water bottle holders had straps to ensure added security that items or bottles won't fall out. And they also seem a little tight for a bigger size bottle. Besides that everything is great. Love the color even better in person. Zippers fine. Great space. Stylish yet very comfort and funtion driven! Thanks

I mostly use this backpack for school but I'm in medical school, so as you could imagine - I have a lot of things to carry. I love all the pockets and the laptop sleeve helps assure my laptop is protected. My only complaint is that it's a bit stiffer than I'd prefer but I'm still only a couple weeks in. I'm looking forward to traveling with it in the near future, the backpack feels very durable. Also, I'm a bit of an outdoors type and living in Colorado - I'm sure to make this backpack more versatile than I intended. Overall, I love the product and feel I won't need to purchase another backpack for anything in quite a long time! This will last me for the next few years, I'm sure!

I really loved the quality of this backpack. It more for hiking or adventures than average school but still great. My only complaint was the blue in the picture looked much brighter and when I received it, it looked more white. Still a great quality backpack though!

This was a gift and the student I purchased it for seems to be happy with this backpack. She chose this particular backpack after looking at a variety of choices. She hasn't used it yet, but is pleased with the gift.
