I love everything about this backpack! It is heavy duty enough that I can bring it hiking, but not to crazy so that I can still use it for school. I would recommend this backpack to everyone for every purpose! Best purchase I have made in a long time,

I've purchased numerous back packs for many years. The quality and engineering of this product is second to none . The pockets along with the mesh compartments make it a functional and useful product.

I purchased three borrealis backpacks. They are stylish, with detailed stitching, roomy and have great support for your back! The compartments help organize your student's needs.

I couldn't ask for a better book bag. This bag is really comfortable on the back and has nice arm straps. I think its defiantly worth the price!

I've never had a north face backpack before and this was such a great investment I made. It's comfortable to wear and has a lot of space I can put my laptop and school work. I'm planning to use this forever. I will definitely purchase again.

I bought the backpack because i was starting a commute, using public transportation, to get to work and i didn't want to carry a laptop bag in addition to a lunch bag and whatever else i needed for that day. This is perfect! It fits my laptop, iPad, lunch, and i can strap my jacket to the front when I'm not wearing it. There's several pockets and TONS of space. It's a little heavy when you first pick it up, but it's not a big deal with what I'm carrying. I'm about 5'4", and i feel like the bag is a good size for me... I'd recommend this bag to anyone that is looking to condense what the carry onto a bus or train... would be great for school!

This backpack was more than I expected. It is handsome, serviceable, sturdy, comfortable to wear, and is able to accommodate everything a college freshman needs to carry. It was a gift for my grandson, and he is delighted with it: which makes me a very happy grandmother. As we grandmothers are aware, as our grandchildren get older it becomes increasingly hard to buy things that they will like and use. Do not hesitate to buy this for a college age young adult, because they will love it.

This is such a great school bag for my highschooler. Well made and distributes weight well. I'll be buying another for her sister.

My new middle-schooler has to carry so many books every day and his old backpack was bothering his back. My friend recommended The North Face and I am happy I made the purchase. This bag has so much more support and my son commented on how much better it is for him now. He also loves the great colors and look of it. I highly recommend!

This backpack is a Christmas gift. It appears to be everything you advertised. Any Northface product we have purchased has been of excellent quality and long lasting. I would recommend any product you manufacture.

This bag is awesome. I am a high school senior and it fits most of everything I put in it. Great style, comfortable and just perfect.

Shipping was fast. I can load a lot of stuff and even hang stuff on te front. The color is perfect for me. It doesn't look or feel bulky.

I love it but there isn't space to put a lot of stuff in it. It feels very comfortable on your back

I haven't owned a backpack since college days and I'm now 53 years old. I've carried a canvas brief case to trade shows for years and often come away exhausted and in pain from carrying unbalanced weight all day long. I was headed to Tennessee for a show followed by some time in the Smoky Mountains and thought I would give a backpack a try. I chose North Face as it was the brand I bought for my kids when they headed off for college. I chose the Borealis as it appeared to be the size I needed and I liked the price. As it turned out it was the perfect choice. It had plenty of space for all the literature I picked up at the show as well as secure storage for my laptop and tablet. It then was the perfect size for the mountain trails of the Smoky Mountains. Plenty of room for camera and lenses, snacks, beverages, sweatshirt and assorted other supplies. The straps were super comfortable as well. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The BOREALIS BACKPACK in black is just what I was looking for. I recently went back to school and needed a comfortable way to get my books to classes. Even with a heavy load the backpack sits comfortably and does not dig into my shoulders. I have gotten compliments on it and believe it will last through my three year program and then some!

Best necessity! I use it everyday. Saves my back, and I use it for everything.
