Book bag matches all of my needs. Major upgrade!

Great for college

This purchase was as good as it gets. I have had several backpacks for work use and have "blown through" all of them. My job requires weekly travel and I use my backpack daily for computer, iPad, files, etc. The previous brand have broken down quickly with numerous issues (broken zipper, torn pockets, etc.) This North Face bag is strudy and stylish. I owe it to my son for recommending North Face, as he has had his NF backback for 4 years and it is still in use.

I purchased this for my son. His previous one he had for two years and was stolen at college. It was in excellent shape. He liked it so much that he wanted a second one. Good testimony to a fine product!! It's not the largest of backpacks but it suits him well as he doesn't like to carry anything too bulky.

I bought this for my husband as a thank you gift and he loves it. His other backpack tore completely so I'm hoping the Northface brand lives up to its hype and last longer than his other one (different brand). The backpack is incredibly roomy and holds all of his heavy textbooks. Nice looking too.

I really love this backpack, it was totally what I hoped it would be. The only issue I've had is that there's a lot of space, but that space doesn't seem to stretch out very well. It will go down, but not out. This hasn't bothered me too much though, and the other features more than make up for it. A fantastic backpack.

Best backpack ever

This is a great commuter backpack. I use it to commute to work with my laptop that I always have on me. I love the fact that there are so many pockets and it is very durable. I use it for traveling too because it is so roomy. It fits everything very well and I have a place for everything that I need. The North Face never fails me.

I always knew that the North Face had incredible packs but I was blown away when I used this pack for the first time. These packs are designed just for women!! I haven't seen any other brand do that before. That is so clever of them to add the night soft fabric inside of the pockets to keep my phone and sunglasses from getting scratched. I am bummed I have to wait until next school year to show off my pack but I am going to use it all summer long!!!!

Got this after having a backpack that constantly hurt shoulders and back. After using for about 6 months, I can stand with this on and about 10 pounds in the bag and have no discomfort. Balances weight perfectly on shoulder and I love the pocket for a tablet. Everything anyone could ask for and is still an extremely thin backpack that is barely noticeable

The bag is spacious and has many compartments. I love it! Definitely would recommend.

The borealis backpack by north face is the greatest backpack I've ever owned. It's light weight to carry anywhere you go but also durable enough to last a life time. This should be your go to backpack when looking to buy one!

My daughter kept going through backpack after backpack for school. We decided to try this North Face backpack and spend the extra money. Her words, "it is amazing!" Lots of compartments to put all of her school supplies/textbooks/etc. The other great thing is it helps lighten the load because of the extra padding on straps. Not only does it function great, but it is also great looking. I think we have found a backpack that will last her for several years!

My friend recently purchased this backpack and after I saw it I fell in love and bought one myself. The amount of compartments is perfect for everything a college student may need to hold. It won't easily fit three textbooks in it at once with your laptop and binder but plenty of space for one or two. Back panel makes carrying this backpack more enjoyable and less of a chore. I am extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.

Purchased the grey borealis not too long ago online, direct from the north face website. I was pleasantly surprised at the delivery speed as it arrived so fast, I could barely believe it. Of course, do we really care about the delivery when you really want the review on the product? Well I can say that the pleasantries extend to the product. I was worried the backpack would not fit my 15" mbp, but it did! Even with a case on it. It does stick out a tiny bit, but not noticeable. The bottom padding under the laptop sleeve keeps my mbp safe. Love the compartments the bag has as well. If I only carry a 15" mbp, a few small devices, a small notebook, some pens and other small essentials, the backpack hardly expands making it look slim. I can imagine putting a sweater in there, an iPad, some snacks, a book, and a couple of water bottls on the sides and the backpack would still hold it all fine. You probably can fit a ton of textbooks (maybe 2?) if you are a student, but who really want to carry that many anyways? That's what a locker or car is for! Overall, backpack is an eye candy, comfortable, and has room to carry just the right amount of things without looking overly bulky. I would likely buy another, if I need to.

This is my first North Face back-pack, it is awesome. It fits everything very well, there is enough room for my MacBook Pro, iPad, plus school books. It is very lightweight. When the bag is full it does not feel heavy on the back as the weight distribution is amazing. I would recommend this back-pack to family and friends in a heartbeat. Great buy, for a decent price, plus the lifetime warranty is an extra added bonus. Y'all won't be disappointed if you purchase this back-pack.

The backpack is attractive and versatile with ample room. It has a sturdy construction and a good value for the price.

It's awesome material. Great for school and I'm about for pack it up for trips. It has so many pockets for storage. I might just buy another one as a gift

I bought this backpack for my teenage daughter who really knows how to put them to the test. She typically carries them everyday at near capacity. We just got this one so I can't say whether it will last as long as we hope but it looks very well made. We'll keep you posted!

The laptop pocket keeps your laptop very secure, good number of pockets, even when I fill the backpack it does not look bulky, I put three textbooks and a laptop and my shoulders didn't hurt because the handles distribute the weight well

Bought this for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it! The backpack is very light weight and spacious. It contains a laptop sleeve compartment and various pockets to hold pens and other items. Great for a college student!

Bought this backpack for my boyfriend who loves the outdoors. He is supper excited and loves this backpack. Although he said it could be a little bigger he loves all bells and whistles that this backpack has and he swears is great for hiking. Would recommend.
