Great for school or work

Bought this for my high school daughter. Spacious, well built but stylish enough to please teen. Holds heavy books and laptop. Lots of compartments and extra touches. Great color and design. Hope this backpack takes her to college!

I was going back and forth between Borealis and Jester, and then the new designa came out. I will have to say, I still like the old design but this new one is just as great! Definetly a must for college!

North Face products are always the best in style, form and function. This backpack is no exception. I originally ordered for my my daughter for school, but ended up keeping this one for myself and ordering her another one for school! Love it!!

Great for lugging around books and electronics on campus.

I had a purse backpack and when I only carry one book and my laptop I would have marks and I didn't it seem I always carry more book in my hands. I got this backpack for the fall semester and omg it change my life I don't have to carry a lot of things it has like it own pencil case build in and for phones amazing also it has this cool small pocket that I put my glasses and it protects from been scratchy. The side click to make more compartment I use that for keys holder and I can take my coffee thermos and my water at same time because it has two pockets. It feels heavy because of my book and the laptop but ones I put it in my shoulders there is no wait felt what to ever I'm in love w it. Love the color as well

I use this product for school and for camping. It is very spacious and holds everything I need. Not only can it hold a lot of weight, but it also distributes that weight make it comfortable to wear without hurting my back.

I use this backpack for high school and it is great! it fits my spanish and english books and has a tablet sleeve for my iPad. it's really stylish and i get compliments on it all the time. the padding makes the pack comfortable . there is a laptop sleeve in the main pocket and it protects my mac so well! it is great for walking , going on day trips, and train/ bus rides. The price is right for the quality of the bag. Another thing i really like about the bag is the detail, some of the inside has the same fleece as the North Face jackets . I LOVE THIS BAG!!!

Perfect for college. Expands but not too big if you don't need it so it looks good. Also has a "cool spot" in the back so when it's hot outside I don't get all sweaty on my way to class. Perfect Pack!

I Love the North Face style & quality! Had it locally monogrammed for $10 to give it a personal touch.

Bought this for my son to use at school because I own a North Face backpack as well. Fully expect it to be the last backpack I ever buy him. Great product, the color/print is really sharp looking and he loves it. Looks so nice I considered keeping it for myself and making him take my old faithful!

Love how the backpack conforms well to my back with it's breathable and light weight design. Been receiving a lot of positive complements for its stylish and modernized design Everything in the bag is closely and neatly packed together, which is good since it does not drag along behind your back or give off a bulky backpack look when out in public even if you have a lot of items in it. This also comes with a negative as everything is very compact as it's sometimes hard to blind grab items from the bag as it pushes against your palm and forehand every time you want to reach for something without looking especially at the bottom of the bag I've owned a messenger bag and item access is very convenient: just swing around the bag and grab anything easily as everything is laid out in front of you. With this backpack if you want to grab something deep within it, you have to put it down in a flat surface or do some yoga stunts while standing up just to get specific items. The pros of owning this backpack over the messenger is that there's less strain on your shoulders due to the double shoulder straps, the padded mesh back panel and a lot of air ventilation especially when carrying a lot of items of increasing load. The fabrics and materials used for this backpack is very high end and seems very durable probably lasting years of use. There are fleece-lined pockets within the bag giving it a premium feel. The front elastic bungee is great external storage, but wished it covered more area. I could have lived without the 3 open loops in front of the external fleece-lined pocket if it meant I can more easily stick a helmet, sweater etc in it without much adjustment of the straps. Overall I'm very happy with this bag despite the gripes (external bungee and quick access issue), and is one of the best backpack I own. Have been using it daily for school/work when carrying around a lot of items, also been using my messenger for light travels. I give the BOREALIS a 4.5/5.

I like he book at a LOT! It's great for school and I love the computer and tablet pockets. Everything's fits perfectly and is protected. The color is brighter than the picture, but overall great!

I use this product for school mainly. I have also taken it with me a plane and I managed to fit a lot of my books, as well as my bulky laptop, in the special pocket located in the main compartment. It's made of a very durable material so it can hold a lot of books and other supplies. No need to worry about rips or tears!

It's a great backpack for college students, my MacBook Pro 13" fits perfect and I don't even need a cover for it because the backpack provides durable padding. I love the subtle color with the bright neon orange accents. It has a nice little front pouch for my pencils and what not. Over all great buy:)
