I use this backpack for school and it's absolutely perfect. Even with all of my books and laptop, the backpack doesn't feel heavy at all. I ordered it in the mint green color. I love both the color and design and it's a stylish, yet practical way of carrying everything I need as a college student. I definitely splurged a lot on this product but it was so worth it.

I use this backpack at college for my heavy books. It is great for comfort and helps reduce back pain. I have fibromyalgia so comfort is huge for me. I have the sea foam green one and it is difficult to keep really clean, but otherwise It is great!

I bought this for myself because my other Vera Bradley bag was hurting my back and wearing out. As I high schooler, I carry around LOADS of stuff all day. I can fit my math textbook, math workbook(wich is about 4 inches thick), 3 one inch binders and a 3 subject notebook with room to spare. I can also fit perfume, Chapstick, my calculater, a day planner, a book, pencils, pens and whatever else I need in the smaller compartment. The only problem was that I purchased the black and origin blue, and the blue looks more white/gray in person.

I use this backpack everyday as I walk to class. The way it sits on my back coupled with the padding provided makes for a very comfortable fit. I can go through a full day of classes and come home to a painless back.

I use this backpack for school and It's so much easier to use this backpack because it's also a vary light bag. The back padding is also a great part of it to because the is a cushion between me and the books.

I bought this backpack to use during my freshmen year of college and it is amazing. The straps ensure comfort and there's a pocket for your laptop or tablet. I am very glad I chose this backpack.

Purchased for my grand daughter whose prior book bag broken after 1 week of school. Excellent quality, durable and most importantly she loves the look and feel of the new northface bookbag. I use this backpack for my laptop and books at college. The backpack is very comfortable and can fit everything I need into it and more. Plus, the smaller pickets are fleece-lined which I thought was a nice bonus. I have bought many other North Face products in the past and I have never been disappointed. Definitely recommend and would definitely buy again!

This is a very sturdy backpack that gets me through the day carrying my huge college textbooks and also protecting my laptop very well.

Bought this for my wife. She likes it a lot. The computer her work supplied her with is a lenovo thinkpad which is pretty bulky -- so it doesn't fit into the laptop-sleeve. I think the laptop sleeve was really designed for slimmer computers -- such as Apples. Nevertheless, it's a good backpack. She puts all her stuff into it and treats it like a purse -- which is good since the backpack distributes the weight more evenly and is better on her back/shoulders.

I was planning to use my bag for school but happened to travel with it first. The bag allowed for me to store a lot in it but does not stretch much so using it for books or electronics is more ideal.
