Great for school, travel, hiking, etc.

I bought this backpack for college and it's one of the best backpacks I've ever used! It stores all my textbooks, notebooks, and MacBook. Very comfortable for all builds of women (since I have a larger upper body) and lightweight.

Great backpack for school. Plenty of space and a good water bottle holder.

My house got robbed and the thief used my old north face backpack to carry more items. He probably got away with 50% more stuff than he expected because that backpack was super durable and had a lot of room in it. After I got robbed, I quickly realized I Needed a new one, so I bought this one. It does the job quite well. Thanks north face

I bought this for my daughter to use for high school. It is perfect! Large enough to put a laptop computer in it along with all of her notebooks and folders. And love the way it looks and is very sturdy.

As an incoming law student this fall, I was shopping around for something that would be sturdy and and durable enough to carry all of my books, binders, and laptop. I am confident this backpack will get me through until graduation. It's the perfect size for a college, grad, or professional student and has a ton of compartments for pens, pencils, etc. The inside lining is soft and the colors are true to photo. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great backpack.

This product is great! exactly same to picture and has so much space! Very durable and great for college use as well.

I have only used this back pack for the past week and not yet put it to all the tests I look forward to but...I love the number of separate spaces for the various things I like to find easily, due to easy access. The size gets smaller depending on how it's packed, which is great for those flights when baggage is measured closely. I walk and bike with it in comfort but have not taken it to the dessert. Love the adjustments to fit me. Lighter than a suit case, which is handyand saves money on those super low weight flights.

I am a backpack lover and i have tried backpacks from all different companies and they have all broke. This NorthFace backpack has held up when i was hiking and i was just tossing it around. It is a great backpack for everyday use and amazing for hiking and cycling. I highly recommend buying the Borealis.

I went up to the mountains a couple days after I got it and never had a problem with it bouncing around while I was walking or not carrying enough of my stuff. Always stayed comfortably snug against my back.

Nobody would regret this purchase.

Perfect bag for med school.

I use this backpack everyday. Since I'm in college I needed a durable bag that can hold a lot of books and all my technology. It is very spacious while durable the same time. The computer pouch is very soft so my computer never scratches and all the compartments are very useful! All I need (which is a lot) fits perfectly in this bag and there is even more space! One thing that is really great is the back, it is designed so that you're not just sweating directly on the back of the backpack but there are ridges so that air can flow through.

I bought this backpack two years ago and it is still an excellent shape! I used it for school and also hiking the past two years, and there is no damage to it. I've gone through other backpacks in a few months, but invested the money into this one and it was definitely worth it!

The backpack is very comfortable and has many pockets within the front zipper that can carry items in a organized manner. It also snugs my 13 inch laptop very nicely without having it moving around a lot. Overall, it's a great backpack whether it's for hiking, school, or any other extracurricular activities.

The best part about this backpack is all the built in pockets!! I can fit my laptop, iPad and books for school and they all have they're own protected pocket.

I walked through a torrential downpour and was so worried about my laptop inside. When I finally got to my destination I opened my Borealis to find my laptop was totally dry. This is totally worth the money. It distributes weight evenly and stays comfortable even with a heavy laptop! I love it!

Holds everything I need and helps keep it organized. Also has really comfortable straps and back padding. Gotten many compliments on it around campus!

I bought this backpack for my niece in Florida who will be a freshman in College. Since she is also from Florida, she loved that is was dark (so it won't get so dirty) but also colorful.

I bought this pack to replace an old NorthFace pack that i have had for probably 20 years. I was looking for something for days hikes and light outings. I was pleasantly surprised by the great "extra touches" like the flannel feel inside the small pockets that will keep my phone and small valuables from getting scratched up. Good looking out, North Face!! I also love the venting across the back. It is great now to have my shirt soaked after a hike.

MY DAUGHTER LOVES IT!! THE BLUE FABRIC LOOKS LIKE DENIUM, BUT IS VERY HIGH QUALITY RESISTANT FABRIC. GREAT FOR A TEENAGER. THERE ARE A LOT OF COMPARTMENTS.

I bought this backpack for my son entering 9th grade. He needed something comfortable, sturdy and something with sufficient storage. He is very, very happy with it.
