This backpack is great. It has a large capacity. It fits a lot more than you'd expect when you first open it. A lot of people complain that it has a small capacity but I carry four notebooks, four folders, and my laptop. I could fit my big calculus textbook but I don't want to carry something extremely heavy. Even then, it wouldn't be uncomfortable because the backpack has great padding and allows full mobility. It's a great product, especially for college when you have to carry snacks, books, laptop, and shoes (or anything else you might want to carry that can be tied down by the drawstring). It's great!!!

This is our second womens Borealis! Our daughter currently uses hers at school (8th grade), where she doesn't have a lot of time in between classes to go to her locker. This backpack she says "Is AWESOME", because it can hold all of her things, and COMFORTABLE, because of it's superior design.

I use it for school to carry all of my books and it works great.

I use it for nursing school! It's great with a lot of space for my computer and all my supplies. I also love that my computer is protected at all times without the computer case.

I've had many backpacks through the years and I've had lots of back pain to go with them. I was on the ultimate hunt for a back friendly backpack and North Face has it! I have been using this backpack all semester and have had no pain at all! This IS the backpack for YOU! Also, the colors are awesome.

I use this backpack for school and for hiking and camping. It's very useful and durable with plenty of space. I highly recommend this backpack to anyone with any need because it is so multi-purposeful!

I bought this for my daughter for the tons of homework and bus rides she was going to have this school year. It's a great comfy fit for a small framed 10 year old because of the straps and buckles. She absolutely loves the vivid color!! Beautiful and very well made. Zippers zip great and smooth. Special soft pockets for electronics if she decides to take a tablet or laptop anywhere. I am beyond satisfied with this investment! Is it possible to fall in love with a backpack? I think so, because now I want one for my bike rides to work through the city!!! Thank you North Face for the amazing quality!

This backpack is great for fitting all my books along with my labtop! I love how i can put my water bottle in the side pocket and snacks in the small pocket in the front along with my calculator and other school necessities. The cushioned back is also really comfortable because it helps a lot when you're carrying heavy books and binders around!

My Daughter has carried the same Northface backpack for 5 years! Still in great condition! She really wanted a new color, so we went for it knowing she could carry it for the next 5+ years!

My daughter uses This as her backpack each year. I could use the same one each year, however she is a girl and has to have a different color as a "new" book bag. We still have the 1st one and use it along with all others for packing, or as a sports bag.

I bought this backpack for my 14 year old daughter, and she loves it. I am a fan of TNF backpacks because they last as opposed to cheaper ones. Borealis is large enough for my girl to carry her books and sturdy enough to withstand the daily wear and tear. Not only that, but the lt. blue trim really pops against the black; it is adorable.

I just received this backpack and it is so adorable and comfortable!

I use this backpack for school everyday. The backpack has a nice, protective sleeve for a laptop and fits everything for 7 classes with ease. The comfort of the pack is amazing too! Also, the water bottle holder easily fits my large camelbak water bottle.

I loved the product. It will defiantly last me a long time an throughout the rest of my school years at college.
