I purchased this backpack for my daughter who is stating college this fall. She absolutely loved it! It has plenty of room for all her stuff and a padded compartment for her laptop. The straps are very comfortable as well. I highly recommend it!!

This backpack was for my son entering middle school. It is sturdy, fits all his school work and afterschool sports equipment. He also wanted the purple which will never get lost!

I'm very pleased with this backpack. Although it is a little bit larger and stiffer than I expected, it makes carrying around a lot of heavy items (like my school books) much easier than I expected. Hopefully the stiffness will alleviate over time and use. I also really love the small pocket on the top front of the backpack that is perfect for my wallet/glasses/gym lock or anything I need to be really accessible. The only thing that kind of bothers me about it is the side bags (that hold water bottles and stuff) go up much higher than in used to making it kind of difficult to reach for my water bottle while I'm wearing my backpack. I have to take one strap off to reach my bottle, but I know it's only designed that way to make the side bags hold things much more securely than other backpacks (which they do). The backpack is really durable too, so I know I will put it to good use for a long time. It comes in a lot of different cute colors but you can never go wrong with black on black. I've only used he bag for school so far but I'm looking forward to seeing how it feels on a long hike. Overall, very very happy with this backpack.

This holds up to the "wear and tear" of everyday use, and it looks great, too!!!

I use this backpack for school for my books. It's great because it fits everything and has a special spot for everything, like my laptop, pens, etc. I love the little accessible pocket at the top! It also fits perfectly on my back and the color is as it looks online. The only thing I would say I don't like is the straps are kind of scratchy.

This backpack is very universal. It has plenty of room for the large books as well as designated space for water bottle, keys and snacks. My daughter has raced about how supportive the backing is, which helps for the long treck to her classes. Thanks for making a fine product

This backpack is by far the most durable backpack I have ever owned, and I have had some high quality one's. It has just the right amount of storage and pockets. The shoulder straps and the vent system allows for you to carry this backpack at ease and comfort, no matter how much you have stuffed in it.

This is the ultimate backpack. I'm a college student studying nursing and I have endless amounts of heavy, thick books I need for class. This backpack came to my rescue in accommodating my needs to carry these books:) More so, it also provides ample space for my laptop, folders and essentials needed for class. It has amazing straps with comfort padding that synch just "right", which alleviates the pull-down effect most other backpacks have. I have scoliosis, so this is huge for me!! I updated from a 5-year-old Recon backpack and this one works just as well if not better. Haven't found out yet if it is water resistant yet but as far as comfort and practicality, it's been golden.

I use the backpack for college. It has lots of space for my books, laptop, and other items. The padding in the back is my favorite part because it makes the heaviness easier and more comfortable.

Bought this product for my teenage son, he was able to fit everything he needed for school yet it is easy and comfortable to carry.

I use this backpack everyday for school and for biking. Occasionally I use it for hiking and it is able to hold most of the things I need for my use.

I don't usually spend much money on a backpack but you know the old saying... You get what you pay for! I'm so happy with my purchase, the backpack is very well made and North Face has thought of everything in designing this bag! I won't need a new one for many years to come! Highly recommend!

This back pack fits all of my textbooks. I'm taking a night class so I love the fact it has a whistle on the clip.

I bought this backpack for college after outgrowing one from a different brand. This backpack holds my laptop, textbooks, folders, and everything in between. The unique structure makes it feel weightless, even after walking around a huge college campus all day!
