I use this backpack for college and traveling. It's smaller than my last backpack, but is super cute & durable, not to mention the lifetime warranty. The fleece laptop sleeve provides ultimate support and the backpack itself offers comfort no matter the workload. Overall I would recommend the Borealis to those in need of a reliable pack.

We ordered the Vaporous Grey Heather/Kokomo Green backpack. Online (on multiple different computers) the top half looked bright white. Unfortunately, it's more of an interesting soft grey/beige shade. While the quality of the backpack seemed great, it was not the color we were expecting based on the online image. We returned this one and went with something else... Solid backpack, just not the color my daughter wanted.

I bought this backpack for my freshman year of college, and I plan to continue using it for the next 4+ years. Although the straps may seem uncomfortable at first, after about a week of usage the backpack becomes more stretchy and comfortable, and the padding is less stiff. My dell laptop fits perfectly, but if you have a thicker, older laptop I would not suggest this backpack. This backpack is stylish and practical, and it fits about three classes worth of notebooks and slim books along with my laptop! Great buy.

Bought this for my daughter for school. She loves it. It seems to be great except the straps hanging down are quite a nuisance.

Will be packing for trip to Walt Disney World. Like the taller pockets for water bottles. Clipping characters to back.

It is durable through any type of weather. Holds all items I need to carry with me.

I purchased it for school and haven't used it for very long at the time of this review, but I am very pleased with it to date.

This pack is great for school, weekend travel, and hiking. The waist belt is a bit narrow. Previous model's belts were wider at the hip.

I use this backpack to carry things around campus. Very roomy, with the perfect number of pockets. The only issue is how stiff it is. The shoulder straps are hard to get on quickly! However, they'll probably soften up over time!

Really like the design, style, and amount of pockets this bookbag has, but really wish the laptop compartment would fit a 15.6" laptop and have more room in the main compartment for books, binders, etc.

Just got it, not sure about durability yet

The pack is very functional and has a lot of great pockets. The only issue I am having are the straps being a little uncomfortable when it rubs against my skin.

My 7th grader wanted a durable backpack for school. So far she has lived this one. It's a bit heavy empty and I had concerns once she put books inside. She seems fine with it. I expect the backpack will carry her through high school. Or almost all the way!

Wonderful, roomy backpack for my active 13 year old!

This backpack is for my daughter who will be rising freshman in high school this year. They need room for notebooks, laptop and activities - this pack accommodates all. Nice design with tons of room. She loved color combination as well.

I use this backpack for school however it would be great to take on a camping trip!

I haven't tested it out for college but it seems to fit great and keeps me organized so far!

I do like it bag it great tons of room but the straps of the bag or like mesh and I find it quite irritating to bare skin. Personally I would return this and buy last years borealis bag from our local store but those don't offer the lifetime warranty. So I'm going to stick with this bag and deal with the straps, I believe it will be great for school.

Waiting for school to start to use the backpack.

Gift for Grandson who has very heavy books to carry around all day

I had a north face boreallis backpack that lasted me all through high school, and is still usable,so that was my first choice for college. I am looking forward to four more years with my new one.

I love the back pack but it is not very comfortable to wear the straps feel very rough against my shoulders other than that its a great back pack.
