This is my second purchase from Ruffwear. The quality of their products is exceptional. The harness is very easy to put on and adjust. It's lightweight and durable. It has padding to make sure my dog is comfy but is still very slim. It even has a little pocket for his tags! We use this for hiking but it would be fine for an every day wearer as well.

These harnesses are awesome. We have two, one for each of our dogs. They are comfortable and don't have any straps that can irritate skin as the harness is padded on all contact points. We clip their leashes to the chest ring and it really helps them to not pull us all over the place on walks. We tried several different harnesses before purchasing these and they are the best by far!

So far, this works quite well. It fits my elderly dog, and doesn't seem to rub anywhere, even when I help him on the stairs. It looks like it should hold up pretty well too.

I couldn't be happier! I feel like a hero because I finally found the perfect harness for my silky terrier! When I received the harness I immediately figured out how to adjust it and my dog and I were fast on our way to go on our walk. It was a miracle...no more pulling...no more embarrassing scoots and tugs. My dog is two years old and this is our eighth harness. I will do an update review in a couple of weeks. :)

Ruffwear has been a favorite for a few years now. When I saw this everyday harness and read the reviews I had to get it for my Westie! She "escapes" from most harnesses but this one is secure. I purchased the gray and black so I can use any leash color. I would most definitely recommend- Ruffwear products last forever.

I have a 15 pound shih tzu and I have tried every possible harness with her but somehow she either does not like them, she comes out of the harness, or they just break. I decided to give this one a try as I have Ruffwear harnesses (not this kind though) for my other two dogs. I think we both absolutely loved this harness. She took a really long walk and it seemed as she though was not even bothered by it. I felt she was very secure in it, it is very well made so it is very sturdy, and the pink made her look cute!

This harness is easy to get on and off. It does not slide back and forth when the dog is pulling. We have more control of the dog when she decides to over excited. Harness does not rub against arm pits or throat area. So far this is the harness to have

This is the best harness that I've tried. There are different areas to adjust the fit so that my small dog who has a deep chest but small neck is safely secured and comfortable. She cannot escape from this harness. Very well made and looks great with lots of color choices.

Very well made and designed. This harness it completely adjustable and seems to be very comfortable for my dog. The only negative about it is that it has to be slid over the head, so if your dog is skiddish about that, this wouldn't work. But my boy seems to be fine with it.

Outstanding harness. Easy to put on and take off. Adjusts well for great fit. My Vizsla seems to like it...she wags here tail as we are putting it on.

Finally! A harness that fits my Aussie and is comfortable for her. I like the option of hooking a leash to the front for more control when you need it. I would buy again!

Great harness. Time will tell if my little "Houdini" will get out of this harness the same as he has will all of the other harnesses I have (some at twice the price).

I like the harness. Seems to help with the pulling for my dog. It does seem like her chest isn't full enough so the straps on her neck to chest don't fit perfectly but she doesn't seem to mind. they are only tight when she pulls.

Great harness, beautifully made. It's not easy to find such a well-made harness for a large dog. There are 2 places to attach the leash - on top and in the front. This is very helpful.

Got this for our 10 pound chihuahua mix because she's a very stubborn walker and stops when she wants to go in a different direction than you. The clip on the front works great for dogs that pull but doesn't do much for dogs that stop and won't walk and clipping the leash to the back is just like using our other harness which seems more comfortable since it's a full vest (Puppia).

Ease of use: Boyfriend finds this easier than typical roman style harnesses - slip over the head like a collar and clip both buckles on the back. Easy to grab the back if necessary to get ahold of the dog. Both back and front clip rings might be too small for more robust leashes. Inner liner gets filled with dog hair, but vacuums mostly clear with upholstery brush head. We toss it in the wash when it gets muddy and hang to dry. No color loss so far, but we did get grey for a reason. Comfort+Fit: Dog is content. I was surprised considering the fit, but no chafing in the armpits. Perhaps most important missing dimension for this product, to avoid chafing, is length of the padded belly plate, as this more or less determines where the harness will sit on your dog; for reference, we got a medium size, and the plate is exactly 12" long. For some sense of scale, dog is 55lb athletic mutt, wears Lupine 1-Inchx20-32-Inch Roman Harness. We use it primarily for longer runs on and off road. Quality: For the most part, a well made, robust product, high quality materials and assembly. Already showing a bit of wear on the rear connection point - where the metal ring rubs against the nylon. Nothing too bad yet, but if you use this harness everyday for, say, trail running with your dog, and you encourage/permit your dog to pull, it may not last forever. We have tried the front attachment point a few times, but not often enough to comment on quality.

Nice harness. I like the leash attachment options, however I am returning mine. Girth around ribs and neck is true to size, but very short. Rubbed under front legs.

I purchased this harness for my dog who is missing her front left leg. The webmaster (also from ruff wear) is the only harness that has worked for her, so I was excited when this new one came out! Unfortunately she was able to back out of it once, but after tightening it that shouldn't happen again. Also we cannot use the front clip because the harness shifts too much. This is a great harness, but maybe not ideal for a three-legged dog!
