These capris are very lightweight. Perfect for hot humid days. They are also comfortable, although the calf opening is a bit small, so I have to push them down after sitting, which is annoying. Overall, a great capri. I use them for everyday errands and walking.

I work for the largest online retailer in the world on there transportation team. So I'm constantly in and out all the elements 10+ hrs/ day. Rain or heat i'm comfortable. My only complaint is that i wish they came in a Plus Size 18. The Plus Size 20 was too big. I kept these pants because I was desperate due to the 93 degree heat and the 6 days of rain that the East Coast just experienced. Being so fair skinned I tend to get sunburn through most t-shirts and thin cotton pants. So I can attest to the sunscreen. Working in a trailer yard I have gotten truck grease that is almost permanent to wash out of these pants with no pre-treatment or shadows of grease left behind. I hope to buy more in the future to keep me comfortable through the summer.

I love these pants. They are lightweight with enough stretch to be very comfortable while sitting and walking. I've had no trouble with any chaffing in warmer weather

Great pants, thin to keep you cool and dry. I just wish it had a zipper pocket to keep a phone and a credit card secure. Fit is good. I'm 5'4" and 240. I carry all my weight in my butt and belly and these fit great.

I love these pants! I have them in long and in Capris. They are very lightweight, and even though they are black, in hot weather they stay cool. I carry the bulk of my weight in hips & butt so I went up a size so legs are not super tight but they are a bit too big in my waist so I have to use the drawstring to tighten which I don't care for so much. They wash well and seem to dry fairly quickly but I haven't done so on a trip to really see how long it would take them to actually dry. My only 2 complaints is after several months the material is starting to pill in a few areas and the do wrinkle even though I roll them for packing. I wear them boating, wore them to Costa Rica, plan to take them to Europe and wear them around town. Can be dressed up with a nice top.

I have several of these in capri and longer shorts length. They're perfect for outdoor activities in the hot FL sun, and even flattering for size 22 (although only in black because the thin material shows too many flaws in lighter colors). I have to replace them every few years because they start to pill up a bit, but that's after 50+ wears and runs through the washer/dryer, so very much worth the price. They do tend to stretch out a bit by the end of a long day too so don't size up.

These are comfortable shorts for trekking. I hate shopping for pants of any type as I am large around my hips and upper legs but have an hourglass shape, so I was holding my breath when the parcel arrived as often pants will either fit around my waist and be too tight at the hips, or fit around the hips but be too large around the waist. I found these shorts to be slightly too large around the waist, but fit well in the hips. I found them a little long as I prefer shorts to hit at my knee, but one extra hem will easily fix that. I bought the Anytime outdoor full length pants at the same time and strangely enough I found the shorts version slightly larger/more relaxed in the fit. Overall I was pleased with the purchase and feel that the pants were good value for money. Thank you Columbia for doing outdoor activity clothing for the large woman!

These pants are aptly named. I bought them for water activities, but use them for hiking and just general wearing around due to their being so light and comfortable. This pair seems ever so slightly smaller cut than the first pair I just bought, but still great.

I love these Capris and have several pairs. They are light weight, airy, and dry quickly. My only complaint is the pilling between the inner thighs.

Fits very well. It is very hard to find plus size outdoor clothes that fit, and look nice. I ordered the size i normally wear.

Order the size you would buy at a department store, The measurement charts here are not accurate. I had to return for smaller size. These are comfortable. The only thing I don't like about them is that the drawstring waist is too narrow for the size of the waistband that I feel it looks a little odd. If it was twice as wide then it would look more natural on the waist.

I was worried about ordering pants online.. Sizes always very with every brand. I really wanted capris that have a drawstring and stumbled upon these. I ordered the gray, tusk and blue. I relied on the sizing/ measurements listed... And I'm wishing i sized down, but they will still work. They are just a little too big. Overall very pleased with my purchase. Super comfy and super cute. I will probably order the black next. I am 5'6, 180

I love these pants. It is so hard to find larger nice fitting capris and I would highly recommend this product. I did go up one size and they fit great not to tight or not to big.

Fits well, comfortable and flexible. Looks good on; nice length for my short legs. Fabric is very light weight and should be able to dry overnight if hand washed on a trip, which is what I was looking for. These pants will be great for summer/hot weather travel. I only wish they had a pocket.

Happy to find a product for large women that like to be active. Comfortable, easy to move around in.

lightweight, nice fit, roomy in the upper leg, nice drape off hip. I tend to stick with active wear with a gusseted crotch because I don't like to be restricted in my movement, not the case with these. Very comfortable and allows good range of motion in the hip/groin area.

Columbia has changed their fabric and sizing. I have a pair of these exact capris and they fit great. This style doesn't - runs small - so I sized up and it still doesn't fit. Three stars just because they're decent quality. Sizing, not so much.

I wish that Columbia would spend a little more time figuring out how their pockets would lay on plus-size women. The pocket openings of these pants pooch out instead of lying flat - this is a frequent issue with this brand. I bought these for camping so I'm okay with this, but if I were wearing them every day I would hesitate to keep these. You can kind of see this look in the brown pants pictured - you can see the model's pocket pooching out on her left hip in the photo where she is facing the camera head-on. So I guess it's everyone, not just plus size!

These are great pants but the waist size is a bit snug compared to other clothes the same size.

Fits great, light and soft fabric but after a few times wearing the material start to get little balls all over it. I spend a lot of time picking them off.

A 22W is definitely my size. But, I would say this ran a size smaller. Otherwise, it would have served me very well for hiking. Too bad.

Sizing way off! It costs me money to return something that I could not wear because the sizing was way off!

I bought a pair in the same size that had Omni Shield fabric 2 years ago or so. Softer and more stretchy. I compared the two and these new ones are almost an inch smaller across the waist and hips. I could not zip them up. Why are brands making plus-sized clothing trimmer fitting? Very, bummed because have been my go-to capris, and I was hoping to get another pair. But they no longer fit me.

The material is almost paper-thin. It's like sweatpants but made with water-resistant material. Even the brand logo wasn't properly stitched. I don't recommend. (August 2019)

The size runs a bit small and being a woman of size, the light color will show all your 'flaws'. It might work in a darker color but I was looking for khaki.
