I received 2 different pairs of shoes from Zappos today (the other pair was a pair of Softspots), both 8.5 Medium. The Softspots are too narrow and I will be sending them back, but this pair seems a bit wide. I am planning to keep them because they are very comfortable, but I will most likely just wear a thicker sock with them. I am hoping that they don't stretch out and become to sloppy to wear.

A few years ago, Keen was a major discovery for me because it has sandals that cover toenails (mine are really embarrassing) and they run wide. They seem to have changed the materials they use because most of the Keens I've tried on lately, including the Rivington, are really stiff, the insoles are hard and uncomfortable, and they are no longer breathable. My feet get really hot when I wear them. The Rivington style is so cute but I couldn't bear how they felt on my feet so I returned them. My new favorite brands are Sanita, El Naturalista, Ahnu, Naot. Some of their styles come in leather, which is what my feet need.

My favorite slip on sandals are Keen. These, however, are not very comfortable and the material on the uppers feel stiff. My feet come right out. Much better with a light insole, but still not comfortable. I'm returning these.

The strap on one of them is a little too tight across the top of my foot (enough to leave a red mark and an indentation in my skin), so I'm constantly taking my shoe off or moving the strap forward or backward to relieve that pressure. But otherwise they're really comfortable. It seems like these shoes could either way... would recommend wearing them at home for a few hours before deciding whether or not to keep them.

I love the way this shoe looks, and the elastic straps. Unfortunately the shoe runs a bit wide (even after ordering a half-size down) and the straps aren't tight enough or strong enough to keep the shoe on my foot--it flops off with every step.

Very cute shoe, but... The 40 was too short, but fit well in width. the 41 was long enough but box like in fit. Have never experienced such a radical increase in width relative to length.

Nice sturdy shoe but not as flexible as I hoped. Plus the left side slipped a little in the heel and the right was too snug in the toe. Darn, hate to return, they are cute.

Overall cute style of shoe. I just bought them today and I like the strap support and my narrow heel stays in so far. It has only been one day but they don't seem to offer much cushion in the bottom and my feet hurt. I am a fan of minimalist shoes but I could use a little more cush!

I ordered these because I need shoes that are comfortable for walking, but a little more stylish than clunky sneakers. They are very cute but unfortunately, no arch support at all. I could feel my feet collapsing inward when I tried them on and walked around inside my home. Sad to send them back, but I just can't do shoes that aren't kind to my arches!

Wish the elastic strap was adjustable, these dug into my foot. The leather was a little stiff but if I kept them I think it would have softened up.

So close to good but heel is built too wide and is slipping off my foot. But I am pretty sure a size shorter will be too short. Good color, good everything except the heel, but am sending back!

Sadly I am sending these back. They are cute and comfortable, except for the elastic which is too tight for me. I wish it was adjustable. The shoes also run large. I am 7½ and in Keens often order up due to their toe construction, but these in 7½ were very roomy - so much so that on my smaller foot I could see the toes and could almost get out of the shoes by curling the toes. Still, they felt comfortable and I do not mind roomy toe area. I would have kept them if not for very uncomfortable elastics which left red marks on the top of my feet after just a few minutes of indoor wear.

Very cute and the soles are comfortable. The negative is that there is a seam inside that rubs against the top of both feet and cut into them. I don't know how to resolve this issue and haven't been able to wear them since the first time.

The shoes were cute, but way too large even though marked as my size (5). I thought the straps across the top would help keep them on my feet, but that didn't work.

I have difficult feet to fit because of large bunions and most ballet flats are very uncomfortable. These are no exception because they do indeed cut into my feet. I have kept them because they are just so cute I don't have many options when it comes to dressier shoes. I take a size 9 and found these to be true to fit.

I was looking forward to these shoes. I have been wearing the leather Rivington, with the single wide elastic band across the instep, all winter -- nearly every day because they are so comfortable. This very similar model, but with narrow crossed elastic straps, will not stay on my narrow feet at all. I walk right out of them, even after adding extra insole material. These straps are not firm enough to cope with the sturdy sole, at least not for my narrow feet. Sadly they are going back.

I always wear a 9 in Keens but the 9 was huge in this style. I literally couldn't keep it on my foot to even attempt to walk in it.

The shoes I received do not look like the ones in the picture. Mine are missing the crossover straps, which I think will be essential to keeping these shoes on my feet. Also, one shoe is darker in color than the other. I feel that I received a defective pair.

My heel slips out, it's hard and overall just not a comfortable shoe. Disappointing because I like the look. I am returning this.

I've worn Keen for years - always a size nine - but these shoes are too big in a nine. Have to return them. I like them, just too big!

Ugh, so sad. I have tons of Keen flats and love them -- could remove the insole and put in my orthotics. I was so excited to see these shoes -- super cute, perfect color -- but so disappointed in the fit. My usual 10.5 was too big, but the 10s have given me a blister on my little toe. Can't remove insoles, either. Soles are stiff and clunky, too. I wish I had not worn the 10s to work yesterday so I could return them. So sad.

This shoe is very cute. I wanted a casual shoe to wear during my commute. I found these soles too hard and uncomfortable as well as having sharp and stiff edges on the top. I would not buy them again nor would I recommend them.

The insole and sole are not as cushioning as I've come to expect of Keen. Insole is not removable. Shoe opening edge is rough at the front of the foot, requiring socks for quite a while until things soften-up. But I have no interest in wearing socks with these shoes. They are going back.

I ordered a 1/2 size down and had to return because the heel was incredibly wide. The toe box was perfect. But I couldn't keep these from flipping up and down on my heel. Even with socks. And really, these are not shoes that are appropriate for socks!
