Oh my what happened to my favorite sandals, I have a pair from 3 years ago a size 9. Now with a size 10 I can't where them side of foot hangs over & the leather quality is much thinner. I know companies are trying to save money but then these should cost. :(

They were comfortable as soon as I put them on. I did not have to break them in. A great walking shoe!!

I rule out many sandals because I tend to get blisters between my toes, but these, like all my other Mephisto sandals, are very comfortable, no blisters, I LOVE them.

Supper cute! I bought these as a birthday present for my daughter. She loved them but they were just a tad bit too small. She has this problem a lot. I returned them for a size bigger. Totally easy. Drop off. No charge. Two days later the new pair. I am very happy with this purchase.

I've been wearing Mephisto Helen for many years (I'm on my 5th or 6th pair) and they always fit perfectly. My feet are on the wider side of medium and I have high arches and insteps. Helen sandals usually need an hour or so to totally break in and mold to my feet but then they're perfect. On this style, the braided diagonal strap was too tight and was even digging in on my right foot in a way that didn't seem like it would loosen up enough to not hurt. I thought it might be just that pair, so I ordered another. Same problem with the second pair. Braided straps too tight, and worse on the right foot. If your feet are a true medium or narrow, or you don't have high insteps, these might be comfortable for you.

Perfect fit. I read lots of reviews that said these ran small but I didn't find that to be true. It's the first time I've worn the "twist" and it fits exactly like the original Helen style. I have several pairs and typically have them re-soled at least twice before replacing them. These are a great sandal with great support. I highly recommend these.

I almost sent these sandals back and I am so glad I didn’t! When I first put them on the were very tight and stiff. The strap that goes across my foot seemed way too tight and no way to adjust. I planned on sending back, but tried them on a week later and walked around the house a bit more. I realized the footbed starts molding to your feet and when that happens, the cross strap started feeling better. The stiffness of the footbed eased up as well. These are super comfy and really cute! I am glad I gave them a second chance. Allow for a break in period of a couple of days.

The leather is really soft so they are comfortable between your toes and wearable immediately out of the box.

Great walking shoe! Very comfortable and I get many compliments on the style. Strap on the top of the foot gave me a little blister - the leather on the top straps needs to break in a little. Otherwise perfect

These fit like a glove and have great cushioning and arch support. I was debating between these and Birkenstocks but these won by a landslide with their amazing footbed. Perfect shoe for style and comfort!

Very narrow-but that totally works for me. Had to order up a size. The Twist is narrower than the metallic “regular” Helen. Here’s hoping they don’t stretch out!

These shoes are as comfortable for me as Birkenstocks. However, they are just slightly dressier and a little sleeker.

So comfy right out of the box! Pretty dusty pink color. :)

Awesome! I'm a fan of Helen, and Helen Twist is just a little bit more zippy. I put them on the day I got them and wore them all day. Buckling the strap on the tightest notch makes them fit my narrow feet. Awesome!

This is the 3rd set of Mephisto sandals I own. The footbed is so comfortable, my foot just snuggles right into it. And it looks very nice from shorts to sundresses. Fit is true to size

A very comfortable and cute shoe. I decided to go with the Helen over the twist because they came in a strap that seemed earlier to clean.

I have never had a problem with Mephisto shoes. Read reviews and ordered a size larger and they are perfect.

I ordered my usual size, seemed to short. Ordered 1 size up, much better. Will return 38's

Beautiful everyday sandal comfortable enough to walk and stand in. I wear them to work where I stand for 9 hours without any discomfort. This is my second pair!
