I love columbia products. My daughter is enjoying her rain coat. I am very pleased with the product.

Love the jacket! Great putter shell with an added fleece under or on its on for rain or windy days. Would have given it 5 stars but the arm length is oddly huge and the sizing seems off. Also the size chart and sizing info specific to this item doesn't help prevent this. However, as always excellent customer service in helping me exchange twice for 2 sizes down.

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter and ordered the Medium (10-12). It definitely runs a lot smaller than I'd hoped based other past Columbia purchases. It's also very light weight which is fine to wear over a sweater (if possible given the smaller fit), but may not be great for cooler climates. I would order a size up in the future.

I buy these coats every year for my kids, they work great! They hold up well and can be passed down thru all three girls. This is our fav style because of the adjustable cuffs and mesh lining that really helps keep condensation out. I purchased one in the turquoise and it arrived looking exactly like online. But the other one i bought that was "blush pink" doesnt look anything like the pictures online. It is definitely not pink and not a soft blush at all. It is not girly like we thought it would be. It is a very vibrant neon red-orange. My daughter was disappointed, she wanted a "prettier girly-er" raincoat. It is excellent quality and very well made.

I bought size 10 for my 10 yo granddaughter. It is a really nice looking jacket but I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a bit roomier for layering beneath. She is a normal weight and height for her age. The size 10 is medium, and I don't think she could comfortably wear a fleece jacket under it on colder days. It will be fine for summer or spring rains.

I bought this for my daughter and it was not at all what we thought we ordered. It was the wrong size; I thought for sure I ordered a small 7/8 but I got a 10/12. I may have misidentified their small and medium size ranges. It was a rain coat with no liner. It was just a shell of a jacket and very thin. I am sure for someone looking for that, it would be perfect but it is not what she wanted. We returned it. I am recommending to someone looking for a true rain coat. Not if you want a lined inside jacket. Make sure you check that!

This fits true to size and is thin enough so it's breathable

I ordered the jade lime jacket for my granddaughter. Great price. It fits well and is a nice material. Haven't worn it yet. Sure it will work well.

Great color, great fit. Only down size for us is the loose mesh like lining, gets caught on little fingers while putting on jacket.

My daughter loves this jacket (and it's hard to find things that fit and she likes)! It kept her warm on our last camping trip when temps got down into high 40s.

These are good quality coats, but there seems to be a color issue after reading other reviews also. The Light Jade looks a lot more minty green in the images, but in reality it is much more of a spring bright green.

The "Blush Pink" color is more like a neon coral. It is darker than the stock image. It's still pretty, but not what was expected.

I bought this jacket because it said it would take a helmet. It won't. The jacket is identical in size to the rain jacket which I also bought. Both hoods are good for a bare head. The Acadia hood needs to be taller and larger in diameter so that the jacket will stay down on the shoulders when a helmet is on, and the bottom of the hood will zip up, and come up to the chin, not the eyes. Other than that, its a nice jacket. But kids are skiing with helmets these days, and the jacket needs to fit comfortably over the hood in order to keep the kid toasty in a driving snow storm, and this hood isn't close to what is needed. A hood that fits over the helmet keeps the snow out of the helmet vent holes, and keeps the cold winds from blowing down the child's neck. The rain jacket should have the small hood, the Acadia should have the large hood.

This jacket run a little bit big on my daughter who is 6 years old and she is a very tall girl with average weight for her age. The material is good quality and it is definitely waterproof. I bought this jacket hoping to use it for the spring and fall. I think she would only be able to use it during the spring when it rain a lot. As for the fall, the jacket is not thick enough.

The first few time I used this jacket it was amazing. It is lightweight yet it does not stick to your skin because of the mesh inside. The large fits a petite adult woman who typically wears a size xs shirt. I tried on this one as well as the xs adult rain jacket and the fit of this one was better for me. I found the build to be superior to the switchback one it was similar though slightly less heavy and not as boxy as the boy version this jacket. However, after the first couple of wears the zipper broke. I can get it to zip, but the zipper doesn't hold together. Unfortunately, this makes the jacket useless when it is raining hard.
I'm hoping that this is an isolated problem and not a problem with the model itself as my child has the toddler version of their girls switchback rain jacket which has no problems with the zipper despite being used by a small child for over a year.

Ordered the XXS, which purports to be for 4/5 year olds. But it's an inch shorter than the Gap 3T rain jacket we are trying to replace, while being about two inches longer in the sleeves.
A rain racket ought to be long in the torso to fully cover what i

This appears to be a well made rain jacket (materials) but the sizing is terrible. The body is probably too short to serve as effective rain jacket but worse, the sleeves are far too long for any child whose body otherwise fits. On our 5 y/o the sleeves reached tip of her finders though body fit, other than length, was fine. She has normal length arms. Just really odd design. Had to return the jacket

I bought an XXS for my 2 (almost) 3 daughter who is in the 90th percentile for height/weight for her age. It fit very well around the torso and length on the body but the arms were a good 3 inches too long. I didn't think she was that off proportionally, so I compared the jacket to the other jackets we have around. On most of those jackets, the sleeve comes pretty much to the bottom of the body of the jacket, maybe a little longer. On this jacket the sleeves were a good 2-3 inches longer (which was very different than the picture on the website implies). By the time she grows into the sleeves I am guessing that the body will no longer fit. So, while I loved the jacket quality, I ultimately decided to return it.
As for sizing, it's tough to say - either the body runs super small or the arms run way too big. I ultimately decided today it runs small cause the torso will be too tight for someone who fits in those sleeves, but you can interpret it any way you want.
