Leather feels thinner than previous purchases of same item. The leather came scratched and the box looked very marked up. Since I need to replace my prior pair I will keep these but the quality is lacking compared to prior shoes of same model I’ve noticed lately that Zappos sends out shoes that shouldn’t have passed the “new, never used” test, with marks on the leather and boxes with damage; note the shipping box was in good shape.

Have a couple pairs of this sandal in other colors that have been wonderful, but ordered black leather this time. The sandal fits like all the others, but the black color fades on my feet or socks when I wear them. Not good! You might want to order other colors than black leather.

These are beautiful shoes, but they just didn't work for my foot issues. I have a small bunion and hammertoe on my left foot and the strap rubbed it. Wish they had worked because the footbed is wonderful.

I have two pair of the Mephisto Heidi -- the to strap style that was replaced by the Harmony. The Harmony is not as well made or as comfortable as the old Heidi. The leather is hard and thin on the Harmony. On the Heidi the leather was thicker and softer, a grained leather, not shiny. I also have Birkenstock Arizona and find the Mephisto is more comfortable because the straps hit my feet better and the Mephisto sandals don't have a ridge around the edge of the foot bed. So, what to do: I guess I am going to send my old Mephisto Heidi to Mephisto resole and have them put on new soles.

The length of my foot was good..but even on the last buckle ..it was too tight..I had to return it..the color is beautiful

I really wanted to like these! Sadly- the black from the straps was wearing off on to my feet the first day, arch support wasn't nearly as good as Birkenstock or Vionic, and the thickness of the leather strap was significantly thinner than other comparable sandals. For the price I expected to like these just as much or more than Birkenstocks. And really wanted to! But sadly they will be returned. I have to add- I can't say enough good about Zappos and their mind-blowing customer service! You guys ROCK!

I am so disappointed! I have worn the Hannel for years but the colors are so limited that I tried the Harmony per Mephisto's recommendation from an inquiry that I had sent to them. This rubs my toe, but also the style is so more casual with the back and front straps attached along the side! Just not nearly as cute as Hannel. I really want the adjustable double strap and Mephisto is about to lose my business unless they bring back Hannel colors. I have issues with my feet and Mephisto sandals were my savior. Ugh.

I have several old pairs of the Heidi which I loved. It is discontinued so I bought the Harmony. What a disappointment. The leather is thinner and brittle, the buckles are flimsier, the leather does not wrap around the back, which does have an impact on the way the hold your feet. Needless to say, I did not keep them. I plan to take one or two pairs of my old Heidi and send them to Mephisto resole. Maybe first time buyers of Mephisto will find these to be alright but if you have bought Mephisto in the past you will be disappointed by the new ones.

Same size I;ve always worn in Mephistos but too big in this one. Also the upper straps were so stiff they would cut into my foot. I'm very disappointed.

Buyer beware! These are nothing like the Mephisto Heidi's that they resemble. The straps are very thin, the buckles are cheap looking, they have less arch support than the Heidi's and they're stiff and uncomfortable. These are going back to Zappos. Mephisto - why didn't you stick with a good thing? It's a shame that you abandoned a wonderful shoe and came out with this disappointment instead.

Love the shoes but the color is the same all over...not variation of color in the shoe! The darker area in the online picture is not in the shoe. They are a solid color!
