I thought these would be the same as what I had purchased several years ago. I recently ordered three pairs in different colors and am very disappoited to find these are not the same as the original ones I had purchased. Yesterday was the first chance to be able to wear the brown buffalo pair and by the time I got home my smaller toes on the left foot where rubbed almost raw from the strap. I then compared the old with the new. Even though the tops looked the same, there were differences. Then I realized I hadn't looked that closely at the picture otherwise I would have notice the leather upper part of the sandal didn't wrap around the heal as it does in the older pair. The older pair has a leather lined sole and is just a better made sandal. The slant of the straps across the toes of the older sandal is placed at a better angle so it doesn't rub the toes when you walk.

Love these shoes. I ordered the light beige nubuck and the Birkenstock comparable style at the same time so I could side-by-side compare. These were noticeably more feminine and were my (and my husband's) hands-down preference as compared to the Birk. I am a size 7 or 7.5 and the 37 in this shoe was just a hair too small. My toes and heel touched the ridge around the edge and the buckles had to be on the largest notch (I have very flat/wide feet). I was going to keep them anyway but then I read the box which stressed that they highly/strongly recommend you not wear the shoes too small--and that there should be space between your foot and the edge of the shoe. I ordered the 38 and they are perfect. The light beige nubuck is so neutral and classic. They will go with everything. I've worn them around for 2 days now with only minimal "breaking-in" required. No blisters. Love these--my first pair of Mephistos.

I love these sandals, my third pair. One nit-pick, though, is the cork is no longer is covered with leather in the back. I bought some cork protector to help. Don't get them wet. They come to conform to your feet completely. I put these on as soon as I get home. 4 stars for bare cork in back.

Disappointed! I have a pair that I purchased in 2012 and the leather on my old pair is thicker and sturdier. The new ones are cheaply put together; very, very, disappointed. The buckles are not as well made on the new pair either.

How do I love thee little Harmony sandal? I love the fit, the feel, the look and everything about this sandal. I have always worn Birkenstocks but the thicker sole and more supportive arch on this shoe has really made me a happy camper and my feet are so thankful! I just wish this sandal came in more colors, like red, or blue...maybe next summer?

I was looking for a replacement for soft footbed birkenstocks which are so hard that they don't feel like soft footbeds anymore. This footbed was very comfy but...the straps were cheap-feeling, plastic like, not befitting a shoe of this cost. Also, the toe area was way too narrow for comfort and I wear a narrow birkenstock, so....... otherwise the arch and metatarsal support felt great but, sigh, back they go and the search continues.

Growing up in Europe, my mother wore Mephisto shoes all the time. This is my first pair but it won't be my last! I do recommend ordering a size up as I had to exchange my first order. Took a couple of days to break in but they're my new favorite.

My last pair of Mephistos harmony, I wore for more years than I can count. The stability and comfort they provided for my arthritic arches was exactly what I needed. While in Mexico, I realized it was time to replace them. I gave my shoes to a woman who needed them more than I did, and then I ordered this pair. Cute...very cute, but not the same shoe at all. Mephistos has cheapened the brand considerably, and the new pair is not at all as well made, nor as comfortable as my last pair. My hard to please feet are now in search of a new brand.

I wore the Mephisto Helen for years but switched to the Hannel because my feet are somewhat narrow and, unlike the Helen, it has two adjustable straps. I bought the Harmony based on all the glowing reviews here, but I was extremely disappointed in them. Although the footbed is the most supportive and comfortable I've ever worn, including the Hannel, the sole is incredibly hard and unyielding. It does not allow the foot to move naturally, from heel to toe, when walking. I wore them around the house for an hour, and in that short time these shoes caused leg and back pain. I'm very disappointed. I'm going back to the Hannels. Aside from that, I don't know what Mephisto is trying to do -- appeal to everyone? It seems there's a different footbed for every style. I love the Paris style and find it a very comfortable alternative for a dressier sandal, but the closed walking shoes and other styles I've tried are not nearly as supportive and therefore pretty uncomfortable. None of the others work for me.

I have many pairs of Mephisto sandals and these fit in length but rubbed my little toe from the get go; all of mine are size 41(I wear a size 11Wide). None of the other sandals did that. I only buy shoes that are wide enough from the beginning and the most comfortable mephistos I own are the Vandy...so much so, I own 3 pairs.

The quality of the shoe seems good and the camel color leather is nice. As for comfort I don’t know as the shoe seems to run on the narrow side and wasn’t a good fit for me. I actually have skinny feet and normally wear a medium width shoe but this one just didn’t work so it was a return for me.

Fit and size were good, I wear a 7m and ordered that size. The color light sand condor is stunning. The problem for me was the placement of the arch support. It hit my foot in the wrong place and felt more like a lump. I like the style of these sandals very much and may try the next size up.

I have two very old pair of Heidi, which was the earlier version of what is now Harmony. I tried the Harmony and found them to be much less comfortable than the old Heidi. The leather on the Harmony is much thinner and the foot bed is not as cushioned. The leather on the Heidi wraps around the back and the sandal hugs the foot without the straps digging in to your foot. I will get the old Heidi re-soled even though that will cost about as much as a new pair of Harmony.

Loved the style…but a big No on footbed. I have owned Mephisto sandals for years… and I tried to wear these all summer. Absolutely killed my feet. Sadly I also purchased 2 additional pair for my granddaughters, and they found this style to be torture too. Nordstrom advises sizing up…I wish I had known this at the time of my purchase. Hoping to return all of them….

I like the sandals but the left one made noise with every step, like air was being expelled. Since the right sandal was quiet, I thought it was a flaw.

This is my fourth pair of the Harmony. I love the fit and comfort of these sandals. The footbed has great support and helped relieve heel issue I had. These are great for travel, walking and everyday wear. Love them. I ordered the Gold Condor and it is gorgeous!

Like gliding your foot into a slipper. Very comfortable, the different textures on the top and side of the foot bed is a nice accent which gives them an upgrade to dressy casual; well made. The adjustable buckles are a form/function.

I have a difficult foot to fit but luckily, my foot loves Mephisto's. They are amazingly comfortable and great for your feet.

Fit just right. I can tell the difference in the arch support. So happy with them

I've been wearing the Helen for almost 20 years, but wanted a different style. The heel on the Birkenstock's, of which this is a look-alike, is too low for my foot issues. The Harmony is perfect--footbed seems the same as the Helen. Will take these to walk in Positano!

I ended up with the Camel Scratch…the Tan was really quite Gold… and too gaudy for me. Love Mephisto and this new strap style….literally the best supporting footbed available. Do seal and clean the suede lining… it will discolor less.

I am a huge Mephisto Fan… and was so exited when the came out with this 2 Strap design last Year. Sadly the strap colors last year were all too gaudy for this old hippie. This year I decided to take a chance with this Gold-Tan pair. The warm colors are on trend, and the gold dots create a textured leather look ….which is organic. They will be great with white jeans. I wish the foot bed was a bit darker (we all know what happens there) but am planning on keeping them. Ready for Spring and Summer!

Love these sandals!! Very comfortable. My only complaint with Mephistos is that I wish they were more consistent with their sizing. I wear a 9 1/2 and have a narrow foot. I bought these in size 40 and they fit fine. I just bought two pairs of Mephisto Lissandra and had to buy size 41 because they ran so short. Very happy with these sandals.

I LOVE my shoes. I bought 2 pairs of the same style about 5 years ago and finally had to retire one pair but still wearing the others. I wear them year round. Used to be a Birkenstock wearer but prefer the Memphisto. A great shoe.
