Looking for a short boot with leather sole for line dancing. Holding my breath for a good fit and they are perfect! Ordered normal running shoe size. Easy on/off even without a zipper. Not tight. Reasonable price.

Purchased these boots to wear to a country music festival with shorts. They are SOOO cute!! Are distressed with a black and grey (black being the major color - dark grey to add the distressed look). Super comfortable to walk around in all day in hay fields. Definitely recommend buying to have an alternative to the full boot during these hot Summer nights.

Right out of the box, headed out to a concert on my feet all day! Very comfortable and super cute. I'm normally a true 10.5 but the10 was perfect. Love the look with shorts, shirts or even leggings!

Bought these in my usual size 8 which felt big so got 7.5 ..fit is much better. haven’t worn them let but they feel comfortable

Super cute short boots. I found them to be true to size (Note: I'm wearing my thicker socks with them). Comfortable enough to wear all day long and into the night with no issues. Look sharp with either skirts or bootcut jeans.

Love these boots. Unlike some of the reviewers I did not order a 1/2 size down. I'm a 7-7 1/2, I ordered the 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. First wearing was for 10 hours and they're very comfy. I knocked off a star because there isn't any arch support. The boots are a bit difficult to slide on but once I got them on my feet were happy.

I've hunted and hunted for boots like this. These are very close to what I wanted. I would have preferred a more soft black leather rather than the distressed look. I also think the top of the boot is a bit too wide. They don't look right when I try them on to wear under a pair of jeans that are not boot cut. You can see the width of the boot under the jeans. So they need to be with boot cut jeans, or other types of clothing, leggings, skirts and tights, etc. I'm keeping them as they are comfortable and as close to what I've been hunting for as I can find. They feel good, and I'll buy some jeans that will look good with them, otherwise I'll tuck in my pant leg although that's not 'my' particular look. I have skinny ankles and these probably would work very well for one with a thicker ankle. But Like I said. They're close enough to what I want. Not perfect. But close, and the price is right.

Cute boots but the fit was too loose for me. I know they are boots and not going to fit like a shoe but they actually felt and looked like a man's boot on my foot, only shorter. Big all over the top and sides but length was fine. Weird. Love Zappos' service so will keep trying to find the perfect bootie for this fall.

Back they go. I’m so disappointed. Beautiful looking boot and I could not get my foot in them. I have average feet and couldn’t even get them in to try them on. I bought the brown and loved the look. So I can’t review anything but the look which I loved.

Ordered these in my usual size (7.5) but they felt really loose to walk in. There was a lot of slipping up and down on the heel, more so than usual with a slip on boot. However due to the tapering in the toe I don't think a half size smaller would feel comfortable, and my toes would probably get squished. The boots also didn't feel like they had much cushion, if any. Just by standing in them I knew that walking for any length of time would be uncomfortable. I like the style; they are a nice boot to look at, but I am on my feet all day and need a boot that is not just stylish but also functional. Returning these.

This was the second pair of these I bought. First pair was 3 years ago. I wore them so much, I walked a hole in the sole. So I decided to get a second pair. I purchased the same size and they did not fit. I know my old pair was stretched out and the new pair would be a little tight to start. However, this pair I couldn’t get on. Didn’t matter how hard I tried, my foot was not going in. My shoe size hasn’t changed. Something in the design or sizing changed. I would recommend sizing up in these, but be aware they are kinda “big” looking on the foot to begin with, so sizing up in my opinion may not look great. I loved my first pair and kinda bummed this second pair didn’t work out.

I am typically a 7, the 6.5 fit. I truly love these boots, the are super cool looking, they are the right height especially for a short girl who wants a little higher ankle boot and the heel height is perfect. My complaint is that they are so stiff and hard on the bottom. I'm a little older now and still like cool shoes but comfort is a big thing and there is absolutely no padding. if you can handle that, they are great. If you like some cushion under your feet, these are not for you...very bummed they are going back.

The super-synthetic inner lining feels like it would make my feet sweat a lot. The boots held my feet better than other cowboy boots I tried, but they still slipped a lot in the heal. The footbed is really hard an inflexible - would cause rubbing and pain with much walking. The distressed leather is feels a bit fragile in spots but looks nice. It's also very hard, so I wouldn't expect any stretching.

Love the look of these boots but not very comfortable. I could not get my left foot in the boot, even with a shoe horn. I have very high arches as well and the top of my foot is sore after wear around the house. My sandal size is 8, boots 8.5. I ordered the 8.5

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A BOTTOM OF A BOOT THAT LITERALLY LOOKS LIKE I COULD SLIDE ACROSS THE FLOOR ON IT. EVERY... I' REALIZE THEY WERE 1P0 DOLLARS... BUT, THEY WERE A HUNDRED DOLLARS AND THEY SAY LEATHER!! PLASTIC LEATHER??

Sorry to say that I was very disappointed with these boots. If you are looking for boots that feel like plastic and have a very phony distressed look these are the ones for you, however if you want a good quality leather boot with a real distressed look .. keep going and find another pair. I hate having to write a bad review..but it is what it is..

I was disappointed. Like a previous reviewer, I thought the distressed leather ended up looking cheap and odd. The one boot look like it had white powder all over it. I usually wear a 6 1/2 and it felt a little tight. However, if it was just the size, I could've gone up to a 7 and I think it would've been a comfortable shoe but I cannot get over the look of it. It is going back.
