These shoes are amazing. My 4 year old son wears them every single day and they take a beating but they have held up very well after several months, washes, and muddy adventures. They are light and super comfortable. Will definitely be buying more.

Super cute. I wish more big boy kicks had this type of closure -- Velcro on top and elastic "laces" across the top. The ease of Velcro without looking too toddlerish. The colors are bright and fun and my son loves them!

These are by far the best brand of children's shoes that you can buy for your little ones. That being said, if you are used to the styles with two Velcro straps, these do seem a bit wider if your child has narrow feet.

My son loves to run and move and these are a great fit for him. He is 6 and wears a size 12 and a half. These are built for active kids and I would definitely recommend them. We keep coming back to Tsukihoshi over and over again!

This is the second time I bought my six year old son the same style, but in a different color. They fit well and hold up great. He's very rough on his shoes and these stand up to whatever he puts them through. He's in first grade and no longer wants the thick Velcro shoes, however hasn't mastered how to tie shoes yet. I love how they look like they are a tie shoe, but goes on easily for him.

My son has been wearing this brand since he was walking. These shoes are his favorite of all. He says they are comfortable and let's him run fast. Best kid shoe on the market!

My 5 years old loves these. Light, support his little feet greatly and the color is just beautiful (he is in love with anything that's blue or a combination of it). I find them true to size, but if your child has narrow feet, you might want to consider Tsukihoshi Speed, they are my favorite.

Very nice and comfortable shoes. But quality has been worse than our previous Tsukihoshi shoes. My son wore the front of these out in about a month.

My son loves these shoes, specifically the blue camo. However, I feel the mid foot portion is much narrower than usual for the Tsukihoshi brand. We usually love this brand as it tends to fit the wider foot but this shoe rubbed the top of my son’s foot. Probably fine for the normal foot but if you buy this brand for the increased width usually associated you might want to skip this model.

I wish the rubber part on the front of the show wouldn’t peel away so easily! Otherwise they’re my son’s favorite shoes and hold up well.

I bought a size 9, in the velocity, kaz, and blast styles to see which fit my sons foot better. I was told by Tsukihoshi that the velocity are the style they recommend to wider feet, which my son has. I know that Tsukihoshi shoes typically run a half size larger, but the velocity does not. The kaz and blast both say on the shoe that they are 16.5 cm and the velocity says it is 16 cm. I had to return and I am bummed. I don’t think they seemed any wider than the other two styles, but I will say that I think the kaz and velocity are a deeper shoe than the blast and may have accommodated his high instep, but I think there could be something better. I have ordered the new balance 680v6 to try, but I am bummed as we love Tsukihoshi shoes. I would order a half size larger in the velocity to accommodate for growing room!

I bought this shoe a size 7 as my son is growing and I was expecting it to be a little big on him as he is wearing the same brand in a size 6. Instead it barely fit him. Runs small

Runs much smaller than Tsukihosi Kaz line. We have size 9 Kaz and they were slightly bigger than 9.5 in Velocity. Love the brand, but exchanging for 10s/10.5s

My son has been wearing Tsukihoshi's exclusively for the past several years. He's autistic and extremely picky about fit and flexibility of a shoe. He had been wearing the Wheel style which seems to run a bit wider than the Velocity. He has a high instep so this one is a little harder for him to get his foot into, but it also stays on a lot better whereas the Wheel got floppy after he had worn them in. In our experience each style differs quite a bit in width and length so we've had to exchange for a size (or two) up or down several times, but overall we've been extremely pleased with this brand.

Cute little shoe, but was very narrow and not good for high arches. Wish it came in a wide , I would have just exchanged for the wide. They look adorable otherwise and seem to be of good quality.

I took Zappos suggestion and I ordered a half size down. They did not fit, my son loved the style and was bummed out they were small and tight. We returned them and ordered his normal size in a different style as these were sold out.

SMALL! We ordered an 8 and it’s exactly the same size as the 7.5 Tsukihoshi in another style he just grew out of. The toe box also seems to be a little less roomy.

I bought these for my son who has been wearing the Tsukihoshi Neko in a size 7. These were a bit harder to get on than the Neko but he had about the same amount of toe space and my son seemed to like them. So he started wearing them but after the first week he wanted to wear his Neko ones again, which still fit, since the 7.5 Velocity seems to be the almost the same length as the Neko in size 7. Seeing as how he gets upset when putting on the Velocity shoes, it leads me to believe they must not be comfortable for him.

My little one has wide feet and sensory issues, and Tsukihoshi is the ONLY brand she can wear. I've always been happy with them, but this specific model has been a disappointment as the front tab (at the toes) keep getting unglued. I ordered two pairs, and both have had the same issue (prior to washing). On a side note, they're half to one size larger than normal (like all Tuskihoshi), so order a size smaller than you would.

I have to return them. I think this style sneaker is better for an older child. My 2 yr old had been using the Kaz style and I am going back. This sneaker has more of an hourglass shape on the bottom, so seems a bit narrower, it also runs a half size smaller than the Kaz style. I need to return them.

My son absolutely loves these sneakers and they are very comfortable, but after 3 different pairs, ALL fell apart with in 2 months with normal wear: came completely unglued, mesh ripped, the whole deal. Very disappointing, as these are not inexpensive shoes! Unfortunately I won't be ordering again from this brand.

I picked these shoes because my 3-year-old son liked the color and wore holes in his last pair of Tsukihoshi shoes. I went with this brand again (but different model. Previous model we bought was Kaz and was awesome) because the previous pair held up for quite a while and had the wider foot bed and wider opening to insert chubby feet. This model was not at all as wide or opened as much as the Kaz model, much to our disappointment. My son was barely able to get his foot in without socks on, and his toes were smushed on the sides. We returned these and bought the Kaz model again.
