Nice looking shoe but my other Born sandals had more cushioning. I also felt that over time I my foot would slip out of sandal as had to order 1/2 size larger than usual shoe size (9.5 - ordered a 10). I do like the Born sandals that have the velcro and also big toe "ring" to help keep on foot.

The leather looked soft, but I couldn't walk in them, they felt rough in all of the wrong places. Nice looking sandal, but I know I won't be able to walk any distance in them.

Love the look of this shoe and the color is great, but I could not get my big toe into the toe slot. It was much too tight, so had to return them.

I read all the review on the small toe opening but thought I would take a chance anyway. Those reviews were spot on. I am so disappointed because this style was exactly what I wanted.

Trying to replace my worn out favorite pair of Born flip flops. These were so narrow it was difficult to get my foot in.

These hugged my feet but sadly look like mandles on me : (. The soles are a little thin for the comfort I was seeking, but the width felt roomy and the design was comfortable. The mandle look is a dealbreaker for me though, so I'm returning them.

Loved these for style and comfort but big toe strap on the size 9 and 10 just did not allow enough room for the toe to fit comfortably. Wish there were half sizes though. Need that 9.5.

love the shoe.. well made and comfortable, but they were not true to size. My foot was hanging off of the back..ran short

Such a bummer these are not working out. I ordered these last year and returned because the footbed was too slick. They changed the footbed to mesh, so I reordered. This time, my heel kept hitting the top edge of the back of the footbed when I walked. Very uncomfortable. I am a solid 8. The shoe was just a bit too short.

the first week I wore these, I did get a couple of blisters from where stitching rubbed my foot. Then they were great, very comfortable, supportive sandal. But now the toe piece broke. Really disappointed. Thought they would last longer. It's been just past the 365 days and did not wear them during Missouris winter. The rest of sandal is great but can't wear them with toe piece flapping

I like these shoes but I don't love them. I wish I could find the Born sandals that I bought a few years ago, they were so comfortable, I literally wore them out. These are a little too flat for me, and they are not that cute on my feet. They are kind of comfortable but they are not supportive at all. I am a nurse, I have bad feet. Usually Born shoes are the one shoe that I know make my feet feel good, these don't. I think they are just a bit on the frumpy side.

I really wanted to love this shoe. I have been wearing Borns for years and it's my go-to brand for comfort. I had a similar pair made by Born that I bought a couple of years ago and loved them. But these were just not very comfortable. The foot bed is not as cushy and the leather between the toes is uncomfortable. What a disappointment.

I really hoped these would work, but like other reviewers stated, the toe ring area was so small, I could NOT get my toe into it. I wish Born would return to styles they made 5-10 years ago. I love the support and the fit, but I'm not a fan of the new styles they are manufacturing. They are usually unsurpassed by any other brand. I hope they rebound or unfortunately, I will have to increase my selection. :(

I loved these shoes, however after wearing them for a day, I got blisters on top of my toes right where the leather criss-crosses on both feet. I had already tried a size larger and they were just too big, so now that I've tried 2 different sizes, I will give up and return these. I'm sad because they really are an attractive and well-made sandal!

I loved these sandals but I had to return them. They needs to come in a half size. 7 was too small and 8 was too large. They are still cute, though.

I love the fact the black sandal has a black footbed and the style of this sandal is so cute. But...the toe ring is very tight and the crisscross leather section is too shallow. I had to send them back. I have always worn Born but these were a disappointment.

These sandals are a lovely design but I had to return them as there wasn't enough space for my foot, the leather upper is very shallow if that makes sense, and I have a very petite foot, I ordered size 5.5 and the beautiful orange leather color. The foot bed was perfect sizing though.

Very masculine looking and uncomfortable shoe. Leather felt stiff and seems different than Born shoes that I had many years ago. Sadly going back.

Not typical of a Born shoe in my opinion. These went back - first of all - my foot is not wide and I couldn't even get them on. I was shocked - and disappointed because I am struggling finding a cute brown sandal with support. Will keep searching!!!

I had to return these because the toe hole was so tight it was cutting painfully in to my big toe

I really wanted to like these shoes because they are very cute. The leather is comfortable and the sole very cushioning. The problem is that the heel end of the sole is very hard. Every time I step down, I can feel the heel hitting my foot.

These sandals feel great every where except at the big toe. It is so tight on top of my big toe it feels like tiny chain saws.I wore them around the house for a couple of days and did my shopping walk and they did not loosen up. Unfortunate as they are great in every other way.

Like the other reviews I really like the way these looked and the footbed is great the problem is in the loop where your big toe goes. I have normal size toes and tho there is a little give in that you can adjust it somewhat it made my feet numb from lack of circulation when I thought I would wear them around the house and they might stretch. I am sending them back, suffering should not be part of trying new sandals.

I wish this shoe felt as good as it looks. The footbed is too long, the toe ring is too small and the leather that forms that open triangle on the top is angled in a way that rubs all three sides. On the pair I got (and sent back): on one shoe the elastic attaching the leather over the instep was longer than it should have been, so it gaped; on the other, it was so tight it forced my foot back so my heel was on the stitching. (Born almost always fits me.)

Nice looking sandal, comfortable and feels really good around. Unfortunately, the first day I wore them on vacation the strap between my toes broke. I will be returning these shoes. I have owned Born shoes before and never have I ever had this problem as a matter of fact I kept and wore them for many years.
