Aesthetically, these are great shoes. Adorable, basic colors that go with everything. I loved how my daughter looked in these and she got such a kick out of the little red truck on them. In terms of actual comfort and function, though, I wanted to like them more, but my daughter really had an adjustment period in them having only worn Stride Rites in the past. These are very flat and the toe is rounded, but just did not allow for clumsy toddler running the way Stride Rites do (she clomped around rather than running smoothly). She fell a lot in the first week (but did get used to them). When she very quickly outgrew her 5s, I ordered a pair of 6s and a pair of Stride Rite 5.5s -- the Stride Rites won out as the SKR 6s were just too huge (wish they carried half sizes!) and she just flat out moved more smoothly in the Stride Rites. Lastly, these dirtied up really quickly. It didn't bother me too much because kids shoes are meant to be used, but my daughter only got 3 weeks of wear out of these before a growth spurt kicked her into a new size. After only 3 weeks, these looked like they were 3 months old. I think it's just because there's so much white. Really wanted to like these more, but they just weren't the best everyday shoes for my clumsy 21 month old!

WARNING! Rivets keep separating causing sharp metal rivets to fall inside the shoe!!!! I can't believe I'm having to write a negative review for SKR, we have always been big fans of this company until the last year or so. The quality suffered last fall due to an issue with the seam at the back of the heel/ankle. Those sneakers were returned and I was willing to give them a new chance this spring seeing how they "fixed" the problem with the stitching. To my disappointment, these adorable shoes have had 2 rivets separate and half of the rivet fell into my daughter's shoe while she was wearing it. The first time it happened I thought it was a fluke and it was while we were putting the shoe on. The second time it happened at the store, where she was able to tell me (at 19-months-old) that her "shoe hurt" and when I took her shoe off, the sharp metal rivet was inside her shoe! I'm so disappointed in these after wearing them probably 10 times of light use. Definitely not what I expect from See Kai Run. I think we will have to find a different brand of sneaker!

I love see Kai run for my daughter but these were nothing like the others .. after a hour and a half at the park she had huge blisters on both feet and she WAS wearing socks . Very disappointing.

After See Kai Run came highly recommended I ordered several pairs. One gave my daughter terrible heel blisters, and the other two pairs fell apart after a few wears. On this pair, the velcro became detached from the strap. They are very cute, but the quality has not been great. Very disappointed!
