I love the Discovery skort, I have it in several different colors. It is very comfortable and travels well. You can wear it in the spring, summer and fall (and I guess winter if you live somewhere warm). I found that the grey version runs small, I ordered 3 skirts in this color and I had to size up. I tried the size 12 two times in case one skirt was just a fluke, but the 12 was really tight. The 14 in the grey fits, while the other colors that I own are in a size 12 which is my typical size.

Love this skort! Can dress it up for a day at the office or wear it casual on the weekends with cute sandals. Stylish and comfortable. Keeps me cool in those hot summer months because it breathes so well. The black one runs a size small (I have one in beige that ran true to size). Recommend ordering one size larger.

Love these...I have 9 different colors. They are my "go to" all summer long. No waist band pinch, perfect tapering, for me anyway. Wash and wear. By the way, great for travel!

Great skort. Runs a little small. I normally wear a 2, but exchanged for a 4 especially in the black one. I ended up ordering all three colors!

This is a great skirt. The fabric has a light feel and clean appearance and is of a synthetic composition that should hold its color. The mid-thigh length is a nice classic look and shorts underneath are discrete and comfortable. A very useful and versatile item. I bought both soapstone and black because it fits well and appears to be very durable.

This is the 3rd skort I've bought. They are fabulous for travel or just hanging around. I wore one to Panama and Costa Rica but it shows NO wear at all. I recently lost some weight and so got a smaller one. Perfect! I love Royal Robbins clothes (and Zappos too of course)!

This skort is exactly what I was looking for. The shorts are loose and comfortable, and the fit was exactly as stated in the sizing chart. (I normally wear a size 6 pants, but got a size 8 based on the chart.) It's light, cute, perfect for travel or weekends, and no one would ever guess it's not just a great a-line skirt. I ordered the same one in black, I loved the soapstone so much.

Love this skirt. Very comfortable and should be great for travel. I normally wear a 6 and that's what I ordered. It fits fine. The only thing I'd like better is if it was about an inch shorter and if it came in white!

I really like this skort. I wish it was 1" longer. But it is comfortable, cool and acceptable everywhere, except maybe work and church.

This is very comfortable, light weight and cute. Only downside is that there are no pockets (only a small zip pocket in the back). With pockets, it would be perfect!

I have worn Nike golf skorts for years. They quit making my old style, so I switched to these Royal Robbins. The material is very thin. I purchased 4 different colors. You can almost see through the khaki. I am thick in the middle and these fit nicely around the waist. They sort of "stick out" around the thigh, but overall are the best I've found since they discontinued the Nike.

Cute. I got the grey. Too small! I am a solid 4 and had to exchange for a 6. I am 5'5", 130 lbs. Other Royal Robbins clothing I've purchased have really pleased me as far as quality & fit. Hope this will be the same.

a good item to have for "urban hiking" its a bit more casual and a lighter shade of black than it appears online.

Runs very large. Large in the waist, too. I need to order a size down. but every color is out of stock in my size. The pewter color is very strange. More like a green than silver or grey.

I bought this skirt in a size 4 and size 6 for my 12 year old daughter. She is 5'4" and about 125 pounds. The 4 was too small. I thought the six looked cute on her, but she said it is stiff and uncomfortable. She did not like how the skirt brushed the outside of her legs when she walked. It is a pencil type fit. The picture of the black skirt on the model is not accurate to how it fit my daughter. There was no puffing out of fabric on the sides.

The style of this skort (including the length) is flattering and it is has a great fit (note, order one size larger than you typically wear as it runs small). I gave it three stars because the shorts constantly ride up my legs and I am having to pull them down frequently (that is very annoying). If the shorts part stayed in place, I would give it five stars without hesitation.

Sides stick out. The waist fit perfectly but the hip/bottom is too big and the sides don't lay flat. Makes me look wider than I am. Never had this issue with a skirt.

The shorts underneath are not fitted, they seem like regular shorts underneath and attached to the skirt. While walking around at home for a few minutes the shorts ran up my thighs which was not comfortable. Returned.

I ordered two of these skorts, and unfortunately they are very tiny! I am a size 12 and the 12's were like 8's! I'm re-ordering two sizes up because I did like the style, length, and fabric. Hopefully the larger size will work.

Loved this skirt in the past....have had a khaki one and searched for more. Ordered 2 more colors, after one wear on this skirt, or maybe at shipment and I didn't notice, the seams came completely unraveled. SO SAD! Love the skirt and fit/style, not very high quality. Brought them on vacation and had to shop for other clothes then -- Have to return the second color to avoid another throw away.
