Love the style! But the top of the boot was too wide. I felt like my heel would easily slip out.

I've been pining over these shoes for YEARS and I finally found a size 7 because literally every major department store has been sold out for the past four years. Anyways I was a little worried when I ordered them because of the other reviews but I figured if I had any issues I could just send them back. Well, there's no white residue on them, the rubber looks perfectly black. The shoe is a little long but I come to expect that from rain boots. I'd recommend wearing thick socks with it but why wouldn't you in the first place. But if you're on the border of two sizes order your regular size. The boots do run narrow, I have very skinny feet and even I could tell, but this is standard for Burberry shoes. I'm so obsessed with these I can't wait for it to rain next. I also love that the black plaid doesn't make it super noticeable that it is Burberry. The change in color makes the trademark look very tasteful but the look is still so classic and the black on black gives it definite edge.

Beautiful, fit as expected, and received lots of compliments. Even hubby complimented! This brand runs small for me so I sized up. They were a tad loose but I prefer that in a rain boot so I can wear cozy socks.

These are great. There was a bit of film. I used a tire shine wipe and they were perfect! You can touch up as needed.

The Zappos customer service representative was very helpful. They returned the old purchase for a new one without hesitation. However, I kept my original purchase which was the taller rain boot. I love them and have gotten many compliments on them.

Love these boots. Easy on and easy off. Look and feel great. Perfect with many different outfits.

Absolutely stunning rainboots! I did get a size larger as most reviews said it runs small, and it fit perfectly so I must agree with those reviews. Very comfortable overall, though it does rub the inside of my ankels - quite a bit. I'm getting these to do a lot of walking in the rain right away, so unfortunately are not going to work for me. Too bad, they are beautiful!

I really wanted to keep these boots, but they were so scuffed that I had to return them.

Comfortable and stylish looking. However, same as everyone else says...the color is not black as in the picture. It looks old and dirty grayish. Maybe that's a look some people like on purpose, but if I'm spending that much money I'd like them to look new. Returned- customer support awesome as usual.

Super uncomfortable. Don't think of rain boots as uncomfortable normally, but these were oddly narrow in the heel (and I have narrow heels) and slipped terribly. Super cute but had to return. Bought my usual Burberry size.

I was so excited to receive the boots in the mail, but unfortunately was thoroughly disappointed to see white residue covering the rubber on both boots! So back they go!

These arrived from Zappos sliding around in a broken box, with a terrible white bloom on the leather. They look like they have been purchased and returned several times. Shame on Zappos for sending them to me in this ugly condition. Per guidance in some reviews, I sized up 1/2 size and they were much too big. Cannot return these fast enough (unfortunately Zappos sent them in an enormous box which I will have to figure out how to transport to a UPS store -- difficult since I live in NYC and don't have a car).

Unfortunately, these rain boots were in full bloom when I received them. I tried cleaning them with a gentle organic cleaner, and rubbing them lightly with olive oil & a microfibre cloth but they just turned white/grey again the next day. They are too expensive to keep with these problems. Back they go.

The boots arrived with ALOT of faded areas in the rubber. These areas are not "blooming" because they could not be corrected with the Hunter rubber buffer which works beautifully when Burberry boots bloom. I am returning the boots for full refund.

Very disappointing! The previous reviews about a "film" on the boots were not exaggerating. Even after trying to wipe it off, the boots were still a very dingy black. Not what I expected from Burberry and a boot at this price point. Returning this boot.

Not as pictured. Chalky blue white film on rubber, like the rubber has already broken down. The pictures clearly show a subtle sheen and jet black color. For the money a pair of rain boots should last the rest of our lives, they didn't even last long enough to give as a gift. Did anybody on quality control show up the day these were made. I am certain these won't live up the to quality you expect from Burberry. I Had to return these.

Sadly, I had the same experience that other reviewers mentioned: this boot was entirely filmy black - not the quality one would expect from Burberry nor any boot, frankly. Additionally, for me, the heel was very wide and the toe box narrow...and I have average feet.
