It's sad to say, but Merrell has and is going down hill. So have Romika. The style is gone; the great designs have disappeared; the comfort evaporated; but mostly, the quality has vanished. Their shoes have become just plain ugly, the choices drab, the quality very poor. Prices sure haven't come down though. Last year, I saw a sharp decline in the shoe industry. All that fru fru in five to six inch heels. No one in their right mind walks in those. Well, this year is no better. Actually is it more of the same junk. Who wants to look like a gladiator? Not I. And the flip-flop market has gone insane. The prices for a sole and a strap is beyond belief. These shoes aren't good for your feet either. People have been getting corns on the tips of their toes from grasping at the shoe to stay in it. Ask your foot doctors what they are seeing. To the shoe designers and manufacturers I say: Wake up. Back to the drawing board. Return to some of those wonderful, comfortable styles of a few years back. Shoes are my weakness. I use to buy a dozen, or more, pairs a year. Last year I bought ONE pair, and this year I have purchased ONE pair. And those I bought because of a color need. I'm not overjoyed with either pair.

I have loved my Merrell slides for over 10 years. These new slides do not even compare. Such a poor quality foot bed! What has happened to Merrell shoes?? These felt like a pair of house slippers. Returned and will not buy again. Sorry Merrell but you have lost a long time customer.

Love these. Second pair I have ordered. Great summer sandal. Easy on/off. Wish Merrell made more choices without toe post. Zappos got them to me quickly and as usual they rock the shoe world.

So comfortable and such an array of colors! Merrell has made this type of slide for many years and I have bought a pair every year. They are great for inside or outside. I normally wear a 9 1/2 M but the 9 always fits. As always, it is great to do business with Zappo, Holacracy or no!

These sandals are super comfortable yet have great support. I ordered them in black and then immediately ordered them in brown also. The fit ran very true to size. Well worth the money.

These slides are very comfortable and I like the look of them. I feel like I can spend a long time in them without my feet aching. I am glad I purchased them!

I bought these slides to replace another pair of Merrell slides that I've worn for years. Sadly these are not very attractive on and actually don't feel as nice. So I've decided to return them.

Merrell, I am giving up! I have several Merrell shoes that I love but this year I cannot find sandals that work. This one has a comfy upper but there are bizarre lumps in the sole (on the outer edge of the insole toward the back) that after wearing a while around the house just plain hurt. Sorry for the wasted effort, Zappos.

I've been a Merrell fan since the early days of the Jungle Moc. Merrell has downgraded its quality significantly. My 4 year old sandals (worn very hard) have more padding & support than these new ones. Sad to say goodbye to a product that I have come to depend on but goodbye Merrell.

Very comfortable, perfect for walking! I'm in my 50s and it's all about comfort and keeping my knees from hurting!

Love these slides! This is the second pair that I've bought. I sometimes have issues with sandals/slides rubbing on the side of my little toe, but don't have that issue with these. Very comfortable, can wear them all day while out and about.

Arrival on time. Shoe is truly made in appropriate, stretching out of shape with one wearing! Good looking shoe, stretches beyond sizing very quickly.

Yes, I highly recommend this slide. For me, the size was exactly right, it is very comfortable, and, of course, love the color I got (purple).

Love this sandal! It is so comfortable that I use it as a slipper. Merrell shoes tend to feel a bit wide across the toes for me, and I like that. No rubbing anywhere. Additionally, the bright blue color makes me happy.

I bought these shoes for my elderly mom to look stylish and be comfortable on a family vacation. She really liked them and thought they were most comfortable and stylish too!

I love these sandals, but they do seem a bit too wide for a medium. I have problems and aside from the width, the are very comfortable.

Great shoes, very comfortable sole, adequate support. These stay on my feet well, which is important for slides. I didn't even really have a break-in-period, they felt comfortable right out of the box. Fit seems accurate to size.

These slides are so very comfortable, I need good arch support and these have that, pretty colors, just a nice shoe to have, very casual and fun!

These are great little sandals for everyday wear, stretchy, and very comfortable. They do not rub or hurt my bunions! Pretty color and design, too.

I have always loved Merrell shoes. I recently had to give all my beautiful thong sandals away, (it absolutely killed me) New and barely worn. I had a recent second toe amputation and had to go with just the open toe version. I absolutely loved them. I just prefer the thong sandals, so many pretty choices. They are comfortable as always and very nice.

I loved the look of this slide, and for me it was more comfy than the Teva slide which I ordered at the same time (footbed too hard). I have a narrow foot with a high arch, and usually wear an 8, or 8.5 in boots and some sandals with good adjustment features over the instep. This sandal does not have the adjustment features, but the 8 will be fine for me. The reason I am returning this pair is the color. I absolutely loved the hard-to-find soft coral color it appears to be on the website. I was very disappointed when they arrived, to find that in fact they are just bright Orange. Folks at Merrell, orange is not the same as red (so why name it Red Clay); nor is orange the same as coral. Will be exchanging these for the aqua as the style is very pretty. I have nothing against orange, in fact I like it, but it will not go with nearly so much, so well, as the aqua (crops in navy, khaki, bone, black, green and turquoise)...to my mind anyway. A softer coral would have, and I have crops and shorts in soft coral.

I am always in search of comfortable sandals since I live in SW FL. I have bunions, hammertoes and PF so I am quite fussy about what I wear because it has to work with my feet and not cause me pain. I have several Merrell Lilyfern sandals which I love but Zappos doesn't seem to carry them now so I bought these instead. They are very similar in style. The construction is good - nice soft material that molds to your feet. The colors choices give you hope that you don't always have to wear dowdy orthopedic shoes if you have problems with your feet. The arch support was good for me but my podiatrist recommended that I cut a small piece of moleskin and place it on the sandal footbed where my arch would contact the sandal. This was an easy peasy fix for most of my sandals. My only complaint and it is not a big deal is that due to the cut of the upper fabric of the sandal, my bunion peeks out a bit. Fortunately it does not rub the outside edge of the fabric. With the Lilyfern sandal it was cradled/hidden within the fabric. It is just my vanity since I am probably the only one who notices this. By the way, I bought the Parachute Purple, size 10, and it fits great. I usually wear a 9 1/2 W but the 10 seems to do the job. I gave it 5 stars because my feet are tough critters to please and this sandal carried it off.
