I love these shoes! I wore them straight out of the box with no socks...they are so comfortable. They have a good arch for a basically flat shoe. Wore them all day with no problems...just comfort. Will purchase more pairs to have for later.

These are just what I was looking for. I can feel what I'm walking on. It's like a massage for my feet to walk on different terrain. I wear wool socks with these when it's cold. Toes have enough space to spread when walking.

Thank you. I enjoy these new shoes, the closest I could find to Merrell barefoot pace glove previous ones, with flexible heels. These shoes fit me well. When I wear this type of shoe, I need no additional arch support.

I bought these for doing tai chi, where I need to really feel the floor. My balance is better the closer to barefoot I can get. I find the colors a bit garish, but realize that's in style. I'm not quite used to them yet, but I'm very pleased with them so far. I wear thin socks, and have discovered that they need to be laced rather tightly to stay in place. They arrived in good order rather quickly after I ordered them.

These are so comfortable and so light. I have a few pairs of the glove Mary Janes by Merrell offered a few years back so I can appreciate the barefoot fit. The shoe is a little bit darker than the pictures show. I got the sea blue coral. The fit is consistent with all the other Merrell shoes i own. Will wear with capris, leggings, and jeans.

Fit and sizing were perfect. This version was just a little too light in the sole for me.

These are ok but too wide. Tried the next size down, but they were too short. I miss the old version with the elastic heel. Not feeling the space-age look either–I'm not a flashy shoe person. Glad they're vegan, though. I appreciate the lack of arch because I have a plantar fibroma, and it gets better when there's no pressure on it. These are still good lightweight, flexible shoes for those of us who don't like encasing our relatively small foot in a big clunky running shoe.

Really liked the style, but didn't provide enough support. Would be okay as an "around town" shoe.

Very comfy barefoot style shoe. Toe box is very wide, i'm narrow so this shoe doesn't work for me. Nice looking.

I'm on maybe my 4th or 5th pair of Vapor Gloves now. I love this shoe. It's a true minimal shoe, so you have to be into that, but if so this is a good one. I just wish they lasted a bit longer. I wear them daily and wear holes in the upper pretty quickly. I feel like the old Vapor Gloves lasted better, but I do put tons of miles on them so they're still a decent investment.

I was hoping these shoes would have more padding than they do. The look great, but not enough support for me.

First Merrell vapor for me. I used to wear NB minimums and landed here since they were discontinued. True barefoot feel but my feet are more protected. I'm a 7.5 and always buy 8 for comfort. These run a little small. I'd recommend going up half a size. Beautiful color.

Love my Merrells and needed to replace my Merrell light walker. I usually buy a size 10.5. This size 10.5 was much too long. Perhaps it was simply mis-sized. Sizing aside it is a great shoe. My old pair lasted 2 years before the outer sole started to wear down and the upper edge where you enter the shoe started to fray.

I really wanted to like these. They felt the closest to my older barefoot Merrells with the elastic heel which I loved. But... the fabric on the inside on top of my foot was just too uncomfortable. It rubbed as I walked and I knew I wouldn't be able to run in these. It's such a shame but they must go back. I kept the Merrell Care Access arc 4 instead. They are not quite as "barefoot" but were ultimately more comfortable.

I really wanted to like these. Zero drop shoes are amazing and not many people make them anymore. I loved the wide toe box but the shoe digs into the top of my foot and back of my heel. And for me they were a bit wide in the back, but I've got narrow heels.

These shoes provide the same support as typical minimalist shoes, which is what I wanted. However, they are quite narrow, so I am unable to use them.

My trainer recommended these, but told me to get a full size smaller. I looked at the average response to size (about 80 percent) who said the given size fit. Turns out, I needed a size smaller. Trainer smiled: "It pays to listen to the management."

LOVE LOVE LOVE except too short in the toe when weight training. Feels fine initially, then by the 4th or 5th wear, pain in the tips of the toes that will not go away. In so much pain I can't even wear most of my other 'Regular' shoes. Should have bought in an 8.5, but I'm learning that most shoe lasts have suddenly started going very narrow and very short for no known reason (Are we expected to be binding our feet like the Chinese now in the minds of shoe designers?) No arch support because these are minimalist barefoot - quite good for this style actually. There is seam at the toe so suggest wearing a very thin sock or sock liner rather than full on barefoot - no issues with that teeny bit of fabric.

Nice-looking shoe, wide toe box, some arch support. They are flat (zero heel) shoes with a sole thick enough to offer a little bit of protection from stuff on the ground. I am a big fan of barefoot shoes for casual wear but am hoping to use these for running, but I'm worried about how to change my stride and strike. If you're a dominant heel striker, you'll definitely feel the shock running up your leg in these shoes. So far, I've done only 1 treadmill run (very slow, ~2 mi), but I was pleased with how these felt. No knee or foot pain afterward. These do seem to run a little large - I bought these in a size 9 but had to exchange them for an 8.5.

Fun shoe but make sure that the pavement isn't hot where you are walking. I walk on the street to get to a trail head and my feet get heated from the pavement in this shoe.

Rubber over the top of the toe ruins these otherwise great, flat shoes. Loved the colors, fit and feel. Very lightweight. But my toe was restricted by the stiff rubber cover above it, making running in these uncomfortable for my big toe. My toe nail would catch on the edge of the rubber. Too bad.

I was looking for a shoe to replace the New Balance minimus trail shoe that I've been wearing for years. The Merrell Vapor Glove 2 is a nice shoe - very comfortable and lightweight, feel like you are wearing slippers. i walked 4 miles my first day with them and there was absolutely no rubbing oe chafing. Love the minimal arch support. There are a couple of drawbacks however. i do a lot of hiking on trails and these shoes have a very thin sole so I can feel the rocks/pebbles really well and have to watch where I'm stepping. Also, the shoe has such a low profile that debris ends up in the shoe as you're walking- I have to stop at least once along the way to take off the shoe and shake out the debris. Because of these issues I ended up ordering the Merrell Vapor 3 which has a 4mm sole and are much better for the trails. Am using the Vapor 2’s for walking on paved surfaces.

Merrell changed this model over time. I am disappointed as the heel cup is higher and they are slightly longer for a size 11M. Material change means slightly rougher on the skin. I am keeping them for now. I suspect if I don't keep this version the next model change will move further away from the minimal shoe design. Stronger feet and legs. Better balance and posture. Who wouldn't want more minimal shoe options!
