I love these shoes. They're my first pair of barefoot shoes and they are super comfortable. No breaking in period needed for me. I can wear them comfortably with or without socks. My feet are very narrow, but these shoes fit well. I am usually an 8.5 narrow. The 8.5 was too short, so I sent them back and got a 9. They fit great.

Love at first try! I've been looking for a new pair of minimalist running shoes for a while, since I've worn mine to death. Well, I found a winner! I love that these are totally flexible (both sole and mesh upper), have great grip and zero padding, have plenty of room in the toe box, and look badass! (Note: They run a bit long - I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 and these 8.5s are a tiny bit too long.) I'm getting them in another color, since I'm sure to wear both pairs to death.

I have a tendency to strike hard on my heel which made running pretty unpleasant for me. So, I purposefully sought out a shoe with much less cushion on the heel so that I would strike somewhere between mid-foot and ball. These totally get the job done and have transformed the way that I run.

If you like minimalist shoes, like the Vibram 5 finger toe shoes, this is the perfect shoe. It's a great alternative to the toe shoes. It's really like running barefoot and extremely light. I've had mine for about three years now and they're still holding up. I definitely recommend these.

I don't know what I would do without these shoes. This is my third pair. My daughter absconded with my first pair because she loves them too. I normally take my shoes off in the house, but tend to forget that I have these on. They are so comfortable!

Size 41 fits a bony size 11, buniony foot well. Nice looking, great barefoot style shoe. Toe box is adequate, please no smaller tho!A neutral color would be nice. Altras looked about 2 sizes larger & clunky feeling due to too much padding. Lems were too 'high volume' and slid around on my skinny instep, and rubbed blisters.

I thought I would try this shoe for working out, I like a barefoot feel. I could not decide so I got the black and the green/blue/purple just because it seemed fun, thinking I'll send one back. Tried it on at home and WOW this is the best shoe ever! More comfortable than my slippers. I feel agile in them. They are not bulky and clumsy like an athletic shoe. Now I am thinking of keeping both so I always have a pair handy for all occasions.

I couldn't figure out why walking outdoors was hurting my lower back, when doing indoor laps didn't have the same effect. Then I realized that when I walk indoors, I'm barefoot. Outside, I was wearing thick-soled, supportive, and somewhat rigid walking shoes. So I decided to give these "barefoot shoes" a try. I'm so glad I did! Enough protection for my feet, but now I'm walking in my natural gait. Great product! Lightweight, breathable, uber-flexible. Like having nothing on at all. Love them!

I LOVE THESE. It's like walking barefoot, but more stylishly. :) I typically wear a 10 in "regular" shoes and a 10.5 in running shoes. I ordered the 10 in this shoe and it fits perfectly.

This is my 3rd Merrell pair. They never disappoint. Vapor Glove 2 is very light and comfortable. The only thing is I feel that is a little smaller than other styles. I had to return them and go 1/2 size up. But thanks Zappos the exchange was fast and painless. I love these shoes.

I love these shoes! I was looking for something lightweight yet sturdy for T25 workouts. I typically work out barefoot but with all the jumping and lunging I really wanted a little more grip. These are perfect! They are comfortable and so light that you can barely feel them, yet they allow me to grip the floor and maintain foot position in many of the moves. I bought the green, purple and blue, and it is a fun, bright color. I want the black ones now for everyday errand running! Thanks, Merrell, your shoes never disappoint!

This shoe is very comfortable and does exactly what I wanted. When I was looking for a minimalist shoe I was overwhelmed by the options. A friend had the first generation of this Merrell shoe and said she had 5 pairs she loved them so much. So I bought them for trail walking and they feel great on my feet. I can feel the ground underneath but my feet are protected from cuts, etc. I'm sure I will be buying more.

Awesome look, love the barefoot feel! I am so much more stable during my weight-lifting workout. Excited to try running; do not miss padding.

I have been wanting to try barefoot shoes for a long time now, and these shoes are perfect. I put them on to try for size, walking around my apartment, and I did not want to take them off. Then I worked out in them and my feet did not hurt for the first time in forever. They are lighter than a feather, and truly the next best thing to being barefoot. They will not keep your feet warm (cold air comes in through the fabric on the sides), but for summer and inside the gym they are perfect. It is winter now so I am wearing SmartWool socks with them. I am an 8½ and the 8½ fits perfectly. My feet are narrow (AA) but these shoes do not feel too wide like many athletic shoes do. There is definitely a bit of support in the arch area, but not too much for those of us who prefer to be barefoot above all else. They protect your feet from the world, but allow them to feel the world and your feet to function the way they were made to. I also love the colors on these shoes! I got the sea blue/coral pair, but if they continue to be as comfortable as they have been the first few days, I am purchasing the black/castlerock for work. I am on my feet over 12 hours a day.

I ordered these shoes in my normal size and while they fit, they are too small to run or do serious hiking. I wish that I could trade them in for a half size larger.

My first review - ever. Love these shoes. Hope Merrell continues to make them. Vapor describes them perfectly - so light and agile for all activities, like being barefoot, only better. Love them!

I use these shoes to workout. I attend a strength and conditioning gym, like crossfit but not as raw. I love these shoes. They are light and comfortable. I would not use them to do long distance running as they do not have much support.

These shoes are the best thing to happen to my feet in two years. I've suffered extreme foot pain from 3 years of orthotics which weakened my feet, and from being out of alignment. I started strengthening my feet about four months ago and my feet feel almost normal again in these shoes. Turns out all the arch support and heel padding were the exact wrong thing for my feet. With these shoes I can feel the ground and am learning how to place my feet properly to avoid stressing my arch muscles. If you're considering buying these shoes because you have foot pain, I also recommend the book"Pain Free" by Pete Egoscue.

I absolutely love these shoes. This is my second pair of vapor gloves. I run about 9 miles a week in them and my feet never hurt. They're a great alternative to the ugly toe-shoes! I hope Merrell isn't discontinuing these- there aren't many options left. That would be a shame- they're my absolute favorite running shoe.

I bought these to replace my old Merrell barefoot runners that were discontinued. These have a similar feel and they're really cute, too! So far, I am satisfied.

I have another pair of these shoes but I have worn them out. My new pair arrived on time and just as I expected. I love these shoes for working out or wearing to work (I am a hospital nurse). I will use Zappos again. They give great service!

I absolutely love these shoes! I was looking for a flat walking shoe that I could comfortably wear all day, and this is it! I've gotten many compliments on the look of the shoes. I just can't say enough how much I love these shoes! I am thinking I'll go ahead and order another pair in a different color. I'm a very happy customer!

I love these shoes. They are so lightweight but I can still run and play volleyball and go to zumba and my feet do not hurt after. Also Zappos delivered these so quickly! I ordered them on a Monday at 430p and they were on my door the next day before noon! Nice work, Zappos! Quickest delivery ever!

Fits like a glove and comfy but not enough support for what I need. I have e strange balance problem I have had for 40 years and this shoe will not work - I do love the feel - maybe if we were in a warmer climate

I absolutely love these shoes! Merrell Barefoot for life!! Pro's: Roomy for the toes. totally durable, slip-resistant, vegan (cruelty-free), and completely barefoot feeling but thick enough sole that nails and rocks don't puncture or wound the feet. I completely recommend these shoes, like with my life! I have the original Merrell barefoot shoes (the purple and grey ones) and they have lasted me well over three years! And I have worn them nearly every day. I needed black shoes for work, so I needed to invest in another pair. (And it literally is an investment in the health of your feet, which affects your entire body, as well as saving money over time because they last so long!) Con's: The color: They turned out to be a little grayer than I thought they would be, I hoped for them to be nearly solid black - (just because work wants them that way!) but honestly, an awesome color in general! And they are so cozy, who could complain about the color when your feet don't hurt after hours of wear?! (I am on my feet at work for over eight hours a day and have hardly any pain in my feet, compared to my feet feeling like I had bruises covering my soles when in my black Born loafers.) Just buy them and try them! You will nit be sorry, apart from you loving them so much that your husband gets jealous! Haha, okay, have a great day every one :) Muah!!
