I bought these and two others after the Nike's I bought were over a size too large. These fit true to size, but did not compare to the Pearl Izumi sneakers I ordered as well. They'd be romping around sneakers though.

They are very nice looking & probably comfortable but they did not feel good on my very problem feet.

I love my Merrells...usually. I usually wear the more minimalist styles and I'm about an 8.5. I ordered up a half size for this shoe because there was more cushion. It was tight and very uncomfortable. I wore them around my apartment for an hour to test them out. If I went up another half size, they would be too long. I generally dislike shoes with a lot of padding and support, and these proved no exception. They appear well made and I like the colors. I will be returning them.
I'd also recommend:

Wow, these are really wide for me in the ball of the foot area, and I often have to wear a wide shoe. They then narrow quickly to the toe, so my toe is under the non-mesh, non-forgiving end of the shoe, so a smaller size wouldn't be helpful. I also have narrow heels, and usually have to put the laces through the hole closest to the ankle, which many people skip. This one is in a weird place, parallel to the second to last hole, and uncomfortable when laced there through one or both of these holes. I expect these might be good for someone with bunions, given the amount of space mid-foot.

Please note that these are not the Merrell Mix Master Move Glide - a shoe with a narrower ankle and a wider toe box. These are painfully tight across the ball of my foot, and also tight along the side of the pinky toe. (I normally wear a medium width shoe) I tried on the previous version and liked them a lot - if you want that, do not buy these.

I have worn Merrells for years. The most comfortable shoe for everyday wear at work has been the Mix Master Glide. I bought a pair of the Mix Master Move Glide 2, thinking they'd be similar - but the toe box is a bit narrower, which makes it very uncomfortable for me. I foolishly didn't take a backup pair on the first day I wore them for a 9+ hour day at work. The outsides of my toes were killing me. Not sure what to do now, since it looks like they've discontinued the Glides with the slightly wider toe box.

These shoes damaged the balls of my feet. They have no support, and no padding, so walking on concrete sidewalks with these shoes created inflammation and damage to my metatarsal and sesamoid bones in one of my feet. Save yourself from serious damage and foot pain - avoid these shoes with no support.
