Customer Reviews Wolverine King Caribou III 9 Inch Soft Toe Boot

I have now used these boots for 4 elk seasons. They are very comfortable and need virtually no break in. I do have two complaints, one, if you lace the boots using every notch, there is too much flex on the top of the foot and the boot digs into your foot as it meshes with the ankle. After long hikes it can be very painful. I had to skip some of the lacing anchors and it fixed that problem. My only other complaint is that snow sticks to the sole of the boot. The snow builds up creating a snowball effect which makes it awkward to step and very heavy. Other than those two things, the boots are fantastic. They are warm, comfortable and work great as long as you are in no snow or deep snow.

I ordered one size up after reading reviews that these boots ran a bit narrow. Good call, the width is perfect one size up. Very comfortable, decently warm. Went on a deer drive through the woods after just breaking them in for a couple hours and no issues with comfort.
