I took these out on a two week camping trip with lots of hiking over challenging terrain and they held up well. I've also put around 20 km of highway walking on them and the outsoles are showing hardly any wear. These hiking/water sandals aren't super grippy but seem to be quite durable and will hopefully last a long time. If you don't plan on ever wearing socks with them (you probably won't) you might consider getting a half-size smaller than your regular footwear. Keep in mind that they will collect debris inside them now and then while walking through the wilderness, but this is the price you pay for their breathability. I like them so far.

Bought a pair in 2016 , loved them . Bought two pair in Dec.of 2017 , one for me and one for my son. My son went to Thailand and has worn them constantly. (he's been now 8 months). I live in south fl and love these shoes , prefer them for my daily footwear, including hiking thru the scrub. Rain or shine great product. Disappointing ,they are now out of stock!!!

This is my second pair. I bought my first pair last year for a trip to Costa Rica and they have held up so well I figured I should buy a second pair. I've used them trail hiking and swimming extensively and they performed well, fitting my feet great straight out of the box and providing support/comfort immediately.

Just like all of merrell's other products extremely comfortable and dependable. I have had my pair for over a year now and the are awesome whether you are just going out to run errands, go hiking, or taking the kinds to the amusement park these are perfect. I am used to having shoes wear my feet out but these are awesome. I will definitely always have a pair of these around.

I've had these shoes for three yrs. now and they have done an excellent job of keeping my feet comfortable and protected (especially the toe area). I'm definitely ordering another pair as soon as the ones I still have wear out. Money well spent! Thanks!

I bought these shoes on short notice for a hike and river rafting excursion. My old shoes, brand unnamed, gave me blisters so bad I was out of commission for over a week. The Merrell's were super comfortable right out of the box. Didn't need to break them in. Hiked over three miles then spent the afternoon on the river. Super comfortable and dried quickly. NO BLISTERS!!

This is my favorite shoe I own and wear now. I love fishing of all kinds,and sometimes wading and these are the best. I have 3 pair, for fear they will do something goofy and discontinue this shoe. Well I went to order the brindle color and now they are Oour of stock again and have been all year, see what I'm saying... Bring in more of my favorite show ( I have 6 styles of Merrell ) in my favorite color Brindle I know it's risky for me to let the cat out of the bag, but, I even wear these shoes daily sometimes just for the comfort. Will, Not be shoeless

We needed "sieve" shoes for rainforest hiking through wetlands, so based on its online description, and our experience with other Merrill shoes, we had high expectations. We took them for their "shake-down cruise" last Saturday hiking about eight miles, including sand and surf, and they were comfortable and supportive from the moment we put them on until we took them off. Most highly recommended.

I've actually purchased several pairs of these shoes. I wear them in all seasons other than winter. They look good, fit comfortably, and are easy to clean. Highly recommended.

I've had earlier styles of this shoe and loved them. However I was not able to recall the name so it was hard to find again. The Velcro sling back strap on the older model was the weak link. This redesigned version fixed that, very comfortable and just a great shoe. My new favorite do-everything shoe of the summer!

The Blaze Sieve is great for hiking and wading the King's for smallmouth. It grips the wet rocks and cushions the ride for a long day on the river.

Merrell are genius their product are more than satisfying. I'm from Morocco and I love what you make..keep it up

Love having a sandal type of shoe by Merrell, very similar to Keen except these have the comfort and quality that I expect from Merrell. I would definitely buy these again in other colors.

I shopped around quite a bit and this shoe/sandel exceeded my expectation for comfort. I love the Vibram sole. I plan to use at beach and to bike there.

I pulled these out of the box, strapped them on my feet, loaded up the dogs, and went down to the local state park for a test run. It felt like I was hardly wearing anything...light, comfortable, great pair of footwear!

I bought my first pair of Merrell hikers from an outdoor sports shop for a trip to Hawaii 12 years ago. Ultimately I had to retire them. I had looked everywhere for a replacement for about the last 3 years. There were look-alikes but I wanted the same. Finally found them on-line. The design change to the back strap was perfect because that was the breaking point of the old ones. Hit me up for a reload in 2030!

I have now bought 3 pair,and buying #4 I love these Blaze Sieve and I wear them all year,other than snow. I enjoy hiking,kayaking,and fishing,and these fit all and then some. They feel great work great,and my favorite Merrells,and I've owned Merrells for over 20years.. My favorite of all,and my only fear is one day they could discontinue these...(Please Keep Them). They slip on easily and off and I have 2 colors black, and butterscotch and my 4 yr old pair is just now wearing smooth on the souls,still comfortable,but , not as sticky as new...

This is my 3rd shoe from Merrell of this kind, and as always, they fit perfectly, no break-in period, comfortable day 1. I've tried other competitive brands, but none come close to the comfort from a Merrell product. I also have several of their hiking shoes with the same out-of-the-box comfort.

Wore these on a day hike (5 miles) on flat terrain without socks and my feet survived without any major blisters. It was at about this point that I started getting a few hot spots on my feet, but I was surprised that I was able to walk 5 miles without socks and without any issues. I suggest one wear socks if the shoes fit a little loose though. Very comfortable and great for walking through flooded areas of trail, as the water flows directly out of the openings in the shoes.

Purchased these for my winter in Puerto Vallarta as I figured they would be perfect for the local hiking trails that go from hill to sandy beaches to rocky wet river beds. So far I have put 570 KMS on them because they are so comfortable I have been wearing them every day and not just for hikes. Due to a slight supenation and high arches I normally wear a custom orthotic in shoes that I am going to do any distance in but surprisingly, I have not had to do this with this shoe. At times that small pieces of gravel can enter the shoe but they are super easy to get in and out of making it easy to clean them out. One other observation is that compared to any other shoe that I use these ones and my feet start smelling really bad after a long day of use. Not sure why this happens with this shoe so dramatically compared to every other Hiker/sneaker/boot that I use. I do hope they continue to sell this model for a long time because I will want to replace mine once they wear out and they way they are holding up so far......well that could be awhile.

I bought these shoes specifically for a trip to Belize where I knew i'd be doing a lot of hiking, and trekking through water. Flip flops or sandals definitely would not have fit the bill, but hiking shoes or boots would have been uncomfortable when wet. They worked perfectly for my purpose. After my trip, I realized how comfortable they are for every day use. They go on and off very easily, and the neoprene is very stretchy. I'm a fan of these shoes.
