I own at least 10 pairs of merrell shoes all in size 12 and they fit like a glove. This pair is easily a half if not a full size bigger. Other than that they look and feel awesome with mesh venting on the toe and sides. Returning the 12s and trying an 11.5. I hope they fit better because I really like them otherwise.

This is a light shoe with an aggressive sole and airy, breathable fabric. Extremely durable and breathes well, but the toe portion wants to curl up due to the makeup of the rubber sole and toe rubber composition. Merrell shoes are great for wider feet, and that coupled with being well made and durable are the reasons I stick with their shoes. I have worn these shoes kayaking, hiking in the Caribbean, and for regular daily use. They dry quickly due to the featherlight fabric and are well made.

Received my shoe quickly. I took it on a camping trip where I hiked two difficult hikes over the course of two days. The shoes were light weight and very comfortable. No break in time. They are good to go out of the box.

I used this shoe for hiking the desert section of the PCT (702 miles), and am very impressed with how they performed. The open mesh kept my feet cool and dry even on the hottest days, but with the drawback of my feet getting filthy from the dust that blows through the mesh, which will wear out the inside of the shoe when you foot grinds the dirt against it all day. The Vibram sole suffered almost no wear, and the mesh never tore, even with me accidentely stabbing my shoes with my trekking poles. Needless to say, when it rains your feet will get soaked instantly, but they dry just as fast when the rain stops. The shoes can't be used with insoles, at least not Superfeet (your foot will sit too high in the shoe, and your heel starts slipping) but I found the built in support to be sufficient personally, and the fit was great, I managed to get through a month of hiking with only five blisters, three of which were on the first day. These shoes function exactly as described, a perfect shoe for the desert, striking a fantastic balance between weight and durability. Highly recommend them.

I am a long time avid Merrell customer with over 10 pair of hiking shoes and boots, running/cross trainers, and casual street shoes. This model is sharp looking, nice color and fits well and is comfortable with one exception - the toe box is very wide as I have narrow/average foot width. My toes were slipping and sliding around when walking. Returning and trying a different model - the Capra Bolt - which I think will be a better last/fit for me.

Comfortable all around shoe to use if your on your feet all day. If the weather is nice this a great shoe!

The shoes have been used for only a couple weeks and have been put through their paces in that time. So far so good.

I bought these shoes for a everyday shoe to replace my old chameleons(since I've read the primes are crap). I mostly wear them for the gym. They are super light and have little to no break in time. The construction of the shoe seems outstanding, solid Vibram sole, a wide toe box and very breathable. They do run about a 1/2 size big. I usually where a 10 1/2 - 11 and I ended up buying a 10. This is my 3rd pair of merrells. Never disappointed, merrells I'm making a promise right now, as a loyal customer, if you try and make these shoes "better" like you did with the chameleons.....I'm going to lose my mind, and you will lose a customer. This is a great product that needs absolutely nothing!

light well ventilated shoe should be great in warm weather

Great looking shoe and is very comfortable. The grip/traction is amazing even in wet conditions. I will say that the sizing was a bit challenging and was full size bigger than my other Merrells I own. I ordered my true size and then the half size smaller and finally a full size smaller for a true fit. As always Merrell did a great job making sure I was satisfied with my order (really like no other company I've dealt with). I'll get another pair when these wear out.

Style and design is great, comfortable, although perhaps a little roomy for my feet

This shoe replaced the Moab low that I wore for almost 6 years. Which I still have for working in the yard. It is quite comfortable especially in the humid summer temps where I live. Winter temps along Lake Erie can get quite cold. I do not recommend this shoe for the cold due to the mesh material. As far as wearing comfort it is on par with anything Nike, Reebok, or Adidas make. And they are nice looking for those interested in second kind of cool.

Excellent shoe for warm weather activities. Ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. My only complaint is that they are not offered in any shade of brown, which is what I was looking for.

Like the breathability of this shoe and its comfort. Thought it was too big too but I now fit into it well. Like hiking and great in the water.

These shoes are good for the work I do they are flexible and keep my feet cool my feet sweat a lot and these keep my feet dryer than most of my other shoes.
