The fabric is a nice tight nylon weave. The bag looks nice but it looks like there are a few weak points. The bottom of the bag is a separate panel with a seam around the perimeter. The buckle straps are sewn into the bag without a base behind them so they float around and snag a bit. Minor issues. It’s comfortable. I use it as a general bag and for cycling. I keep the locks in the laptop pocket and the padded back keeps them from digging into my back. I got it to replace a leather backpack I’ve had for 15 years so there’s obviously a drop in durability, but it’s lighter and just about as stylish. No regrets.

This is a great bag. It's well made, looks great, has a ton of space and the padded laptop sleeve is great. I would like a bit more organization inside but it's not a big deal. It's a very simple design, but I do like the drawstring top and how the outside pockets fold over in a way that increases rain repellency. I'm 6'2" with a longer torso and find this pack to be comfortable with a laptop and several books.
