Nice and lightweight shoes. Also good for summer. I bought a half size bigger but doesn't bother me.

WAAAAAAAY TOO BIG! A men's size 10 look like clown shoes. Had about 2 inches of empty nothingness where my toes should be but couldn't quite make the stretch :(

Looking for a more casual pair of shoes and these look like they foot the bill. They are the same size and width as my plaintoe Oxfords but felt smaller and narrower. Returning these.

I like the look of this shoe, but it has two Pain Points. One, the top comes too high up the ankle, but that's easily solvable by not lacing the top eyelets. The second problem is where the canvas meets the leather on the tongue. There are two seams, and when the shoe is laced it puts a pressure point right at the tendon on top of your foot. I'm going to experiment with different sock weights to see if I can fix it. But clearly the designers never actually wore the shoe. I'm surprised at how many 5 star reviews this gets. To me, they are nearly unwearable. I'll have to return them if I can't come up with a solution.

Don't buy these shoes. They look great...that is, unless you get a drop of water on them. They stain so easily. Even a speck of liquid stains them permanently. I have used nubuck cleaner, a stain protector, and take very good care of them but after wearing them probably 15 times the leather is totally stained and looks like garbage. They're basically unwearable at this point despite never wearing them in the rain and being meticulous with their care. Overall, unless you're planning on wearing these on the surface of the moon where there is zero liquid water, don't plan on these lasting very long.

To the Timberland shoemaker: I have a newsflash for you. Men who wear size 12 or 13 shoes generally have wide feet. Why do you make the shoes so narrow? Please start making them a little wider.
