This is a great rain jacket!! Love it so much I think I will get another!!

Every day Jacket. Had bought obe 15 yrs ago and I grew out of it lol but it still has years of wear to go. So I finally got another and hope to have the same wear out of it.

I am 5'5 and 120lbs and the medium fits great because I can wear it with a fleece/sweater under it or without. Roomy but not too big. Love it and love Zappos customer service!

I wear a size medium but this way too small and had to return. The material is very light weight and the length is hits below the hip.

I wanted a longer jacket for an upcoming trip that is bound to be a little rainy and chilly. I ordered a S and it fit too perfectly (I am 5'1" and 113 lbs)..I preferred a little more room so I could wear more layers.Returned for a M and I love it. Love the fit..the shirring in the back makes the parka nice and trim looking.

Great jacket, but it's North Face & they rarely disappoint. My only complaint is the waist. I wanted something fitted, but it's still somewhat wide in the waist, not tapered like the photo. I can't size down because than the sleeves would be too short. (I'm 5"11', 145lbs, with an athletic build & I purchased a Large.) It would be perfect if it came with the option to make the waist tighter. I'll try to update on it's performance after I use it in Iceland overtop my fleece for rain/wind protection.

I wanted a lightweight, water resistant jacket. This one fits the bill - comfortable, useful, lightweight. I didn't the style of the collar in front because it's higher than I wanted when the jacket is zipped all the way up. Perfect for the other requirements of a jacket though!

This jacket is lightweight and comfy and stylish. So far it has kept me dry and warm. I am usually a medium but I got the large and it fits great and I can add layers underneath. It is fitted and hangs nicely- no bulky garbage bag look. The hood looks nice, there is a nice peak/brim that is a great touch BUT this is a WOMEN'S jacket and many women have long hair and many women wear their hair in a ponytail or bun and if you do that then half your head is exposed to rain in this hood. You could synch it real tight and smush your hair down- so don't plan to go out for dinner and try to look nice LOL. And your make up will run because the nice brim they put on the hood will now be sitting on the top of your head doing nothing to block the rain. SO- either have your long hair down getting annoying, messy, smushed and wet in the wind and rain, wear you hair up and smush it super tight so its almost painful against your head, or shave your head! Too bad because the rest of the jacket is great. Really I don't understand how it is too hard to make a hood on WOMEN'S RAIN jacket that can accommodate a ponytail! Why not make the brim twice as long and able to fold back for adjustability?? I clicked 'yes I would recommend this to a friend' IF she has short hair or shaves her head.

I just got it, and I like the looks of it. It is lightweight, with more of a sporty look. I am 5.8" and 150 pds, I am not oversized and I usually wear a M. This one is very tight on my hips and waist and I tried it with only a T-shirt on. I could definitely not be able to wear a sweater underneath. I will change it for a L.

I wear a medium in tops but thought to size up to large because I may wear layers under the rain jacket. It was too tight around my hips. I am pear shaped and it just didn't work for me

Pretty nice parka. It kept me dry during a day of sight seeing in Washington DC on a rainy day. Some things that are not perfect, the hood could use a velcro adjustor on the back to help it fit better, it runs a but tight in the thigh and bottom area (if you can zip it up, you can use the second zipper to get a bit more room to walk around).

Our daughter requested a North Face lightweight parka as she spends lots of time outdoors, and sometimes in the rain. This one fit the bill. She's very petite, about 5'1 and 95 pounds. The XS was perfect for her. Unfortunately, the zipper was defective and after a week of use, opened from the bottom and didn't line up any longer. Of course, Zappo's excellent customer service had a new one to us within a day, and returning the original was effortless. So the item gets a 4 for initial quality (replacement is perfect without zipper issue) but otherwise it's a great product and she loves it!

The Resolve parka is about two inches longer than the Resolve jacket. It also has a cinch in the back which in my opinion is more flattering than the jacket (I tried both). It is waterproof and pretty thin so if you need to layer you may need to order a size up. Also if you are bottom heavy it may be a little tight. It is slightly looser in the sleeves than I'd like but I guess that's good when layering. I am 5'2", normally a size 4 in jeans and I ordered a size small. I gave it a 4 overall because of the slightly looser fit in sleeve area, but it is comfortable and stylish.

Love the fit and style of this jacket but the logo is black, not white as pictured.

I had hoped this Parka would work, because of its longer length, its neutral color, its light weight. But, the top half was too large. The bottom half was too small.

A great jacket for the price. Medium fit me well, I am 5'8" and curvy/athletic.

Nor Cali has been very wet lately and this parka has been put to use regularly. Kept me dry and looking stylish. I wear a lite weight wool sweater under it so I will be cozy when I take the parka off. I get too hot tho and only wish there was ventilation in the pits. Also, I dislike Velcro since it snags anything it comes into contact with and tiny fibers are left forevermore, making it look kinda tacky. Wish it had snaps instead. I would give it a five star if it breathed just a little and had snaps! Love the two way zipper.

I love the light yellow color and the weight of the jacket. I haven't worn it in wet weather to see if it is water proof. The zipper is awful! I spend ten minutes trying to zip and unzip the jacket every time I wear it.

Product delivered in a timely manner, fit true to size and the length was just what I was looking for. This was bought as a gift for my wife.

Reading the other reviews helped me determine if I should buy this jacket and if I did, the reviews helped me identify the size I should order. I'm 5'6" - 140-147 lbs - 34.5 inch chest and about 35-36 inch hips and ordered a size Small. Given my measurements, the small fits fairly snug. I was able to get a medium sized J.Crew sweater under the jacket, but seriously, nothing thicker would fit because the jacket is cut that close. Also, the base of the coat is fairly narrow, so when I wear it, I have to reverse pull on the zipper to alleviate a bit of the tautness, thus providing a bit more room for my hips. I love the logical features like the verse zipper. I find the jacket versatile, comfortable, feminine, stylish and practical. The lining is a nice addition and the hood is a great size. I have very big, naturally curly hair and I was able to easily tuck all my floofy hair inside of the hood. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and glad I got a size Small instead of a Medium, as I do believe the Medium would have been a bit big and baggy in the back area.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and needed a fully waterproof (not sort of waterproof or water resistant) jacket for daily wear. I got this in bright yellow the day before the first huge October storms hit. I am so glad I did! It is fully, completely waterproof, but does not feel like a plastic bag at all. It's very comfortable to wear and isn't sticky on the skin when wearing short sleeves underneath because of the mesh lining. I've worn it for sailing, hiking and daily school drop off and pick up with the kids. It's performed beyond my expectations. The pockets are big and really well placed. The only things I'd change are to add a velcro tab at the back of the hood so that I can adjust it back - I have a small head and the hood is a bit deep for me if I don't also have a hat on underneath. Also, I would love an extra inch or two in length. I'm 167cm and 60kg with measurements of 36 bust, 28 waist, 38 hips, and the medium fits really well. I also love the lifetime guarantee. I've had many compliments on the style and colour. Highly recommended! (I also recommend the Baffin Packables rainboots in bright yellow that I got to go with it - match perfectly! :-) ).
