I love this parka. It's very slimming and the fuchsia pink is beautiful. I am about 5ft about 100lbs and got XS. A little narrow from the hip area but I tried the s and it was way too baggy from waist area for me. My hip measurement is about 36 1/2. Since it can be unzip from bottom as well, I unzip it about two inches for better movement. I also have the regular resolve rain jacket. I prefer the fit of this one better because it just goes over my butt for a little more coverage. I think this one is about two inches longer on me.

I'm 5'6" about 150lbs and purchased this in a M, which fits loosely enough for thick layers underneath. The green color is also gorgeous and I love the practical but trendy style. Just keep in mind that it's essentially a thin shell.

I own a number of The North Face coats and jackets. Just like always, this parka style model is constructed with great care and quality that The North Face is famous for. It fits true to size, zippers, fasteners and pockets work perfectly. Generous length for a person of average height, water and wind proof, light weight with a light lining that makes it suitable for spring and early fall weather in northern climates. This jacket offers a loose fit so there is lots of room to wear a hoodie or liner under it if one is braving cooler temps.

I love the color of this jacket! (And North Face jackets period. I have at least 8.) It is a great neutral. I am a 10 in women's dresses, and a medium is a little snug, but the large was just a little too baggy for my liking. I also like that it is a longer than most rain coats. An unexpected plus: I got the interior of one of my pockets got caught on a stadium bleacher the first time I wore it, and it and ripped. I was relieved to discover that there is a second layer of mesh, which lines the pocket. I did not discover this until I got home, but I still could have used the pocket without stuff falling out even with it being ripped. One critique I have is something another reviewer said: I wish there wasn't velcro over the zipper because it does get caught my scarves when I wear them.

I love this jacket. It's light weight and perfect for rainy days. I am 5'6" and 150lbs and I bought a medium.

Great fitting rain parka. I'm 5'4" 125 lb.s and bought size medium. I bought petticoat pink bc I have the black. The pink is perfect for a rainy summer day. The three best things about this rainwear are: the length, the mesh lining and the two way zip. It is a flattering style and comfortable to wear.

I think the people who had negative comments bought the wrong size.

Be sure to read/review the sizing chart; I am always a small in everything, but had to send it back for a medium (I am 5'5", 34D, 135 lbs, normal build). The parka is a little longer (past hips) which is nice for a rain jacket. It has two way zippers that can sometimes get stuck a bit. The collar has a fleece lining which is annoying, since otherwise it is a year-round weather jacket. There is room for a warmer layer if necessary. Lightweight, breathable, durable, great colors, fits well, good zippered pockets, adjustable hood, keeps you dry and keeps out the wind. Great rain jacket!!

I ordered an x-small which is the size I have purcahsed in the past for North Face jackets. It fits great and I am 5'4 115 lbs. for reference. I love the style of it was actually looking for a trench/rain coat and couldn't find anything I really liked. This isn't a trench coat but it will work for my needs. The navy color is beautiful and I like that the logos are dark not so flashy. Definitely would recommend to others!

The photo does not do this parka justice! I'm not a model and I look great in it. The workmanship is outstanding and the style is just perfect, can be sporty or more "dressy." I am thrilled with this purchase at an excellent price!

North Face has excellent quality and this is another example of that.

Bought this jacket for a trip to SF where the weather forecast was FULL of rain. The jack was perfect for walking around town and being outside in the heavy rain and drizzle. Layered the jacket with a light sweater for cold weather, and wore with a short sleeve for the warm temps. Jacket is slightly fitted, so if you're at the larger end of a size, I would size up.

I love Northface, but have always felt it size xlarge was too close a fit for me. I saw this new item listed in a szie XXL and I had to have it. The jacket is lighweight and the added elastic in the back makes for a delicate touch and of course the yellow color is fabulous. Love it!

I wear this in the morning when it's cold and I love it because it's light weight!

I Purchase this jacket for a back packing trip to Italy and Greece. It was the perfect jacket for my needs. I had enough wiggle room to have a sweatshirt underneath if extra warmth is needed. It kept my dry and was a nice lightweight fit. The jacket is also easy to roll up or even tie onto a back pack handle for easy on-the-go access/storage. Some of the reviews say to go a size up but I didn't see that was needed. I am 5'5" 138 lbs and ordered a Size M and it fits perfectly! A little bigger in the waste than needed but like I said, leaves room for extra layers if needed.

I got this coat for my mom for Christmas and she LOVES it. It's the perfect length that fall right below her bum and is perfect for brisk and rainy weather.

SO disappointed. I have purchased in the past Northface jackets that I just loved.........I bought this jacket hoping I could live without the pockets and no I cannot live without the pockets......keys, gels, cellphone, kleenex...........I need pockets........Previous Northface at least had one additional pocket........and all the pockets were deep......not this one and I guess pockets must be going out of style.............what the heck? Frustrated. Overall the performance of the jacket is great..............just want pockets.................and sleeves that can be adjusted..............such frustration...........

Am so disappointed and will be returning this jacket. There are nasty Velcro tabs on the front that are great if the jacket is zipped up, however if not zipped, the Velcro is exposed and snags anything in reach. The fit was good.

Very happy with this light weight jacket. Nice to have the hood in case of rain.

This is an awesome raincoat, got it $50 cheaper at Zappos. It does not have all those strings and mess on the coat. It’s simple and I love it. It pays to shop around.

I was really happy with this purchase! The jacket is stylish and looks great while also keeping me very dry and warm. Living in the PNW - that's a huge plus, especially during soccer season when I'm hunkered down watching my kids play. I did end up returning the medium I originally ordered in exchange for a large so I'd say this runs a little small - noticeably in the hips and at the bottom of the coat. I wanted more space for layering something heavier/bulkier underneath it and for ease of movement.

It's just as the others said - very nice but runs very small. I'm 5ft 2 inches tall, weight 120 pounds and I couldn't zip the size small. I exchanged it for a medium and that is none to roomy either.

Love this jacket - I will warn, it runs small. I usually wear a SM in NorthFace jackets. I ordered SM and it was too snug - couldn’t wear any layers under the jacket. Exchanged for a M and it’s perfect! (I’m 5’6”, 135)

Great light rain jacket. I own a few North Face rain jackets but this is my first parka style. Love the light weight color and the definitely keeps you dry. I have plenty of room for layering. I’m petite 5’2” but with a shorter torso and the small fit me fine with enough room for layers.
