Great shoe! My son really wanted something he could just slip on and not worry about laces coming undone. He loves them for PE especially because we're in Montana and he is in snow boots most fall-spring months. They are very easy to just slip on after coming in from outside.

We live in the PNW where wet is constant in the fall/winter/spring. These shoes are more water resistant than most, ad so far, less smelly! My first grader loves them. Easy to put on and off and the blue is a nice bright color!

The first shoe to actually outlast the kid! The construction of this shoe is the best we have seen for a very active little guy who is very hard on shoes. I definitely would buy this shoe again!

Very happy with this shoe. My 7-year-old is hard on his shoes, but this is the first pair in a long time that he's grown out of before it started to come apart. After almost 3 months the only sign of wear is on the sole; the upper has held up beautifully. They look great even after going through the washing machine. He loves the shoes, so we ordered another pair in the next size up.

My son wears a 6.5 and is almost 9 years old. He loved these shoes because he has a wide foot and these felt so comfortable to him. It's very hard to find larger sizes with a Velcro strap. These felt very sturdy yet flexible and light. These are definitely worth the price. I will definitely buy these again.

This is a great looking sneaker. I am sorry I bought it a half size too big for my son. He wore them for the first day of school yesterday and I can see some space at his heel and how he walks. He did mention he had to tighten the Velcro strap more. His report also was the sole did not feel as "grippy" as his other sneakers. Perhaps the rubber is a bit sleek. I'm not going to let him wear these until his foot gets a bit bigger. Maybe mid school year. He's 8.5yrs old and usually wears size 2.5. Still great shoe.

So happy to find a Velcro shoe in larger sizes!! These fit very nice. My son is very picky about the adjustability and he has seemed satisfied with these. I will be buying these again!!

Great shoe! My 6 year old is very picky about shoes and making sure his feet have enough room. He loves these sneakers. They are wide enough for his chubby feet and very light weight so they are great for running and jumping.

Love the solid build on this shoe without having too much weight on my son's foot. This shoe is perfect for the truly active boy who needs traction and longevity. We ordered both the velcro and the lace ups and in similar shoes and kept the velcro since we aren't quite ready to transition to lace ups just yet. Having the ability to get himself ready in the morning including shoes before he starts his 100MPH day is great! We will buy this shoe again for sure!

A little pricey for my outside playing son who will out grow these in a month but overall I'm in love with this sneaker! Love the looks and my son says they are comfortable! Zappos sent them fast!

These shoes look so good in parson and my son loves them! He's 11 and he wears a size 6. They look like they're going to hold their shape and outlast any of his recent shoes.

These are my toddler's, so I'll tell you what's important to me. These shoes stay clean looking. They are easy to put on. They are not heavy and bulky like the Skechers that have taken over velcro sneakers. Size seems to be right. Overall, these look like better quality shoes than the other options out there.

Bought these for my 5 year old son who has a wide toe box but fairly normal/narrow heels. He loves them, and they are super easy for him to get on/off. They have held up well over the last several months, including a few washes. The insoles fall out, but that's not a big deal. I'm buying my other son these too, because his Nikes are starting to show some wear and he got those at the same time my younger son got these (and my younger son is a lot harder on shoes). Not to mention, no laces!

Great shoes! My seven year old sone loves to wear these. They are made well and I like how they have the strap instead of tying the shoe.

My eight year old son loves these shoes! They are very comfortable and very durable for my very active boy. Ordering another pair - I do wish that there were more choices in colors. I highly recommend these shoes.

My second grader is able to tie his shoe laces but these days most shoe laces come undone so easily (especially with active kids) and are often also too short to double knot. Hence the selection of these shoes. They are sturdy, comfortable and easy to put on and take off, which is important when the coach is telling you to hurry up because the bus is about to leave. They are excellent sneakers. I bought them in both colors!

I just ordered my son his second pair. They lasted the whole school year and all of summer camp. Best shoe for a tough active child ever.

My son loves these shoes. He says they make him "super fast!" The color is bright like the photo. The fit seems good.
