I wear size large, but based on pass experiences and following suggestion as to pick a size smaller I chose a medium this time. Sadly I had to return it since it was too small, funny on this size they always run bigger...

This shirt has a great look to it and the material looks nice. However, if you live in a mildly humid climate I wouldn't wear this shirt on a warm to hot day. This particular material does not breathe well at all and I found my self sweating pretty good under the shirt. I have numerous other button down angler style Columbia shirts and don't have this problem with those shirts. On another note; definitely size down. I normally wear a regular XL and the regular Large size in this shirt fits me very well. I'm 6'2" and 220 lbs with fairly broad shoulders. Length of regular Large is perfect for me as well.

Too large for my liking. 5'8'', 165lb, normally prefer an athletic or fitted look. I own other Columbia short sleeve button downs and Medium fits perfect. This "cut" was way too big and fit like a large. Shoulder and length was a large. Other than that, this ideal for poolside, fishing, or a neat casual outing. Again, only issue is the fit. 1 size larger than I normally wear.

My husband likes a modern cut fit and found this shirt to be too big and "boxy" for him. He's 6'4" and 190 lbs.

Fit is large like all Columbia stuff. this fabric is very very thin.

This item sized appropriately through the shoulders for me, but based on how much excess fabric there is around the belly, this was designed for obese fishermen.... If I was skinny, I would be expecting this and wouldn't be complaining, but geesh, they really made this sized to accommodate the entire range of American physiques.

Excellent shirt, but runs very large. This probably one of my favorite shirts. Very breathable and clean design. I wear a large in all my shirts. I ordered this in a large and it feels like an XL. It looks goofy and hangs way too low.

I went by your size indicator, totally wrong on actual sizes.

I don't like the type of cloth, namely polyester, which I thought that went out in the 1970's. I should have paid more attention to my purchase.
