This is a nice looking boot for a good price. However, the calf was too wide for me. My calf measures about 16.5" so I thought this would be perfect since the details say the boot's calf measures 17". As it turns out there is quite a bit of gap when I put it on - it definitely looks too big and a big sock would not be enough to compensate. Also, I did not notice when buying that that cool zipper is actually only decorative - there's another functional zipper on the inside of the boot. The leather quality is okay, good for the price but otherwise not super nice. Overall, if it fit better I'd probably keep it as the price is right, the style is nice, and it's comfortable enough.

This boot is so comfortable I find myself wearing them into the evening after getting in from work because the feel good. Dress up or Dress down looks good either way. I normally wear a 9.5 and that's what I ordered however I would have been find with a 9 - so I just wear slightly thicker socks.

My calves are 16.5" circumference. This is the only pair of wide calf boots I can fit in comfortably. Nice leather and design. The bottom of the shoes have not tread marks, it feels a little slippery.

Love. I probably could have gotten away with the regular version of these boots, but I waited for the wide calf because I know I'll wear jeans + thicker socks this winter, and I didn't want these to be too tight. I am usually an 8 in boots, but I sized up to a 9. The fit is perfect. I love the color (brown). I wish it wasn't a "false" zipper on the outside, but the interior zipper works just fine. My only complaints: little arch support, and there is not a lot of traction on the bottom, so it might be a bit risky on the slippery/icy sidewalks.

Really beautiful boot. I bought the wide calf version (my calf measures 16 inches) and it fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the 8.5 was way to big in the toe box area, so I had to return it.

I loved these boots and really wanted them to work, but the wide calf measured almost an inch smaller than what it was listed at and I would only ever be able to wear them with tights so they had to go back. They are a super cute style, though!

Style was cute and fit my big calves; however, I'm petite (5'3") and the shaft height hit at my knees which was uncomfortable. Sadly had to send back.

Pretty frustrated because I was very excited for these boots to come in. I have very athletic calves and have such a hard time finding boots. The widest part of my calf is 16.5" so I figured the 17" shaft would be perfect. Not so much. I zipped it about halfway and got stuck because the shaft tapers before my calf does. Unfortunate return, because they are BEAUTIFUL. Other than that, the soles are stiffer than I am used to, but the leather is lovely. Would have been perfect.

I am tall and have bigger calves. These boots are great! I have been looking for a boot that will reach almost to my knee; these fit the bill! I got an 11 and they are really comfortable. The leather is soft and a bit of a pebble grain.

I am 5'6", 220lb, size 11 shoe and all torso. The good: These are the first wide calf boot that zipped up. The style is unique yet classic. The buckle detail remind me of my Frye back zip Veronica. The cognac is gorgeous and the leather smell is amazing. The foot bed is very comfortable for my wide feet. My toes have plenty of room on the sides and top. That being said, the bad: The circumference at the top is 19" which leaves a slight gap which I like (my calves are 18"); however, because my legs are short my calves are compact so I still struggle to zip the boot up. Speaking of zipper, I wished it was a metal one instead of cheap plastic. Also the shaft is 18" from the heel, so while standing I like that the boot is right under my knee, it is slightly uncomfortable sitting. Also it bunches slightly at the ankle, making me feel like I constantly have to pull the boot up. My biggest concern is that the leather is very thin, almost like the membrane of an egg.The quality makes me wonder if it really is leather. I am used to Frye leather that is soft but so sturdy the boots stands up on its own. I feel like a scratch could ruin these boots and wonder if it would even last one winter. It is very overpriced for the leather used. I am undecided about keeping them.

Beautiful boot but the wide calf is way to wide at the top. Why would they design the top of the boot near your knee to be wider than the middle where your calf is? It looks silly. Sad to have to return them.
