They are comfortable on my feet. I've gone on a 1 mile hike to see if they would be comfortable on my feet. They passed the 1 mile test. Now I may be able to go on a longer hike with them. I've worn Teva's for years and like other comments I read, I also had the front side strap pull loose/break. I'll hope these hold up better than my last pair.

I don't know about this particular pair of sandals, but my previous pairs have straps that break when the rest of the sandal is perfectly usable. This seems like a more recent problem with these sandals, which I've purchased many pairs in years past.

Fits me very well, nice grip and very comfortable. Will use it for casual wear and shirt trips.

i have used your sandal before. they fit my feet, not too stuff after a little breaking in, and provide good arch support. Function well during my outdoor activities.

Use fishing and on hot sand/tar, sized correctly, toe strap padding needs just a little more attention to comfort at it's edges.

They are a good shoe. Seems well made. Offers good support. True to size. I would likely repurchase these again in the future when these wear out.

I used them for everything. I walk some averaging around 40 miles to improve my health and to provide our dog some exercise. The sandals have great support and are comfortable. The heel is a bit stiff compared to my previous versions.
I do like them and I will continue to purchase new ones when these ware out.

A slight improvement would be a more complete neoprene lining on the heel strap. Chaffing has always been my problem but I'm not experiencing it with this sandal. Sometimes the non-neoprene portion of the heel strap touches my skin but no problem yet.

Tread needs improvement;
Online sizing chart was a full size off-had to return

The sandals fit great and very comfortable. I use them fishing and the straps don't last I go through 2 pairs a year so overall I'm not impressed

I love the buckle idea but hate the lines they put in the footbed under my feet. It feels totally wrong with every step. Bad move Teva, otherwise they would have been great

Bulky compared to newer styles. Overall a good sandal, comfortable and quick-release strap a plus. Not a fan of the clunky tourist-dad styling and dual-tone sole.

I think these sandals are larger than their nominal size. I am left-handed. My right foot (the larger one) just fit, and I've had no problems. My left sandal barely cinched up tightly enough for my left foot, and the straps wore blisters on the inside of my heel and the outside of my little toe. I believe you should find a new way to size this product that does not depend on shoe sizes. After all, shoes and sandals work very differently.
For one thing, shoes are measured against the larger foot. Sandals should be measured against the smaller one. I will not purchase your sandals on line again until I have had a chance to buy a pair in a store. Before that happens, I will probably take the extra trouble to find custom made sandals and avoid the problem altogether.

I really, really want to like these, its one of the few styles by any band with a buckle, and that makes a big difference to me, almost all the ones I have ever had without a buckle have worn out the velcro before the shoe. But alas, I don't know exactly why, but the front strap hits the top of my foot just right and causes them to be uncomfortable. I am not entirely sure what the reason is but I must return them as I cannot use them.

This product could be a lot better if the velcro closures were replaced with adjustable buckles. The fuzzy part of the velcro gets full of sand and will not close well afterwards.

The Holliway is a comfortable sandle with good traction. I spend the summer on the Middle fork of the Salmon and Main Salmon rivers. The best improvement for the Holliway would be to eliminate the velcro and replace with adjustable buckles. Velcro is fine untile the fuzzy side gets full of sand, then it does not stick anymore. Teva used to make the "Guide" sandal. It was made with buckles and practicly all the river guides wore them. Guests and other river runners would see this and then they were all wearing the guide sandal. Teva owned that market. I sure wish they would bring back the "Guide". I have tried to communicate this to Deckers but they are not very good about returning phone calls.

I used these frequently in the water. Eventually a strap pulled out from the sole. The strap attachment is very short and apparently the glue is not good enough. There is no stitching to keep the straps in place. I think Teva will send me a replacement, but they require me to send the sandals to them for inspection.

Ok so I have an older pair of these that I love. The new pair reek of plastic and petroleum. Even in the garage. Too bad.

Have been wearing Teva's on canoe trips for years. Had two pairs of these sandals on a three week trip and blew out the straps on both the first week. Duct Taped them on for the rest of the trip. What happened to quality of these shoes in the past 15 years?
