Overall I have not been pleased with these Teva's. They felt fine when I walked around the house in them but when I wore them for a day out and about they just did not feel that comfortable by the end of the day, even to the point of putting pressure on my third toe so that the nail was cutting into the skin by the edge of it. I have never had sandals do this and I wear them most of the year. I have also noticed that the strap on the back coming out of the bottom is starting to tear out and I have only worn them may 10 to 15 times, so I do not have hope that they will last long. I would not purchase these again.

I have narrow feet so I purchased these because they are adjustable at both the forefoot and ankle. While I am able to use the velcro on the straps to tighten up the fit, that leaves a long "tail" at the end that sticks out. As a result the sandals look a little sloppy and if I use these for hiking or kayaking, I'm concerned the long tail will catch on things and pull the velcro open. In the past, I wore adjustable Chaco sandals that fit my narrow feet and provided great support. Unfortunately, they've changed the design and the strap across the forefoot is now too loose and the sandals flop around on my feet. I am keeping these Tevas because they are currently the only women's sport sandal that I can find that provide good support AND fit snugly and comfortably on my feet. I've attached pictures that show the long webbing "tail" on these sandals when I have adjusted them to fit my feet.

I have owned many pair of Teva Verra. I love them! I wear them out, then buy some more. This pair, and other newer pairs I have tried, have shorter straps that don't fit over my high instep. I can barely get them fastened. So, back they go. Teva, please lengthen the straps!

I didn't have time to exchange before my vacation, but I also got a different pair that did fit so I just returned these.

I ordered this pair online, and I was excited to try the Verra style since I have several other pairs of Teva sandals. However, I was disappointed to realize that this shoe style has a shorter ankle strap (compared to the Hurricane XLT2 and others).
I had to return them because the strap barely connected with the Velcro and they didn't feel as secure on my feet. Also, it looked odd to have the strap end halfway across my ankle.

I have had several pairs of Teva's over the years and they added something extra around the big toe that just rubbed my toe wrong. Otherwise size, fit and width were fine.

These sandals are cute and very comfortable. However, my problem is with the quality. After wearing them for a week the straps started to peel away from the base of the shoe. I've bought Teva sandals in the past at this same price point and they're still in great shape. Naturally, I expected the same quality from these but have been disappointed. I would give them five stars if it weren't for this problem.

did not realize the front strap is unlined on the medial side, this would give me a blister if I tried too walk long with it. I have always liked Tevas bc I can walk a lot in them, but not if unlined like this one is.

I have worn a pair of Tevas over and over again comfortably for many years in all kinds of weather on hikes as well as on more formal occasions. The stitiching was starting to fray slightly and I logged onto the Tevas website hoping to purchase a similar pair. There was nothing on the site similar to what I've been wearing except the Verra style. Although comfortable, I wouldn't wear these sandals on hikes or on long treks over rugges conditions as I did my former pair because the straps are narrower. They will be worn on more formal occasions with dressier clothing, but I wish the style I wore for years was still available.

My sandal started tearing from the back strap after the first couple of wears. I only wore them to walk around in Hawaii, nothing strenuous. Very disappointed because I've loved teva for years.

I loved them, but the straps were uncomfortable, and rubbed on my feet. This size 5.5 is not suitable for someone who has a high instep. The length and width were just right, but the strap was too short to comfortably go across my foot.

They are super comfy and the perfect walking sandal. However, the straps came unglued from the some on day TWO! I sent an email to Teva but didn't hear back. Then a chat but it took so long for them to answer that I couldn't respond back. I shouldn't have to glue my new shoes back together or spend countless time trying to get in touch with the company. Not sure what to do.

The craftsmanship/quality on these is subpar. It's too bad too because I love the style and they are comfortable. I've had these about a month but they straps are already pulling up from the footbed. This is from normal wear. It's very disappointing and not what I expected from Teva.

It would both kind and helpful, as well as saving your reputation to be honest and tell customers when you've changed your sizing. I've worn many TEVA sandals for years now. The Verra in an 8 is at least .5" shorter than it had been. I'm so frosted over this I might switch brands. At LEAST be HONEST with your customers or they disappear quickly!

I've returned the product. The size was fine, as was the arch support. And I like that the front straps don't hit any bunions. BUT the straps feel rough against my feet, and I could feel a blister forming from the strap that crossed my instep.

been wearing Tevas exclusively for 13 years and am now going to have to find another brand because somewhere around 2019, maybe even 2018, the footbed material changed, or maybe their stock sat in a hot warehouse for an extended period of time ? The multiple pairs of Teva Verras I bought in 2019 & 2022 did not have a soft cushiony foot bed. And it may or may not be related but not only do the the water channels on the foot bed pinch and cut into my foot, but also the foot bed creases from normal wear can be pinchy. Something I never had a problem before. It's not from abusive wear on my end as I have never worn my Verras in water and have always hand cleaned & air dried my tevas with just water. Having worn Tirras and Zirras for years without having to throw them out,(Heck my old ones are Still softer than the new sandals !) I can only conclude that the quality of material of the new Verras is an issue. If this is possibly a result of recycled material then I am NOT a fan! Just incredibly sad to be bailing on the one shoe I could always count on.

I worke these sandals for daily walking on a trip. After only 200 miles in a month, these sandals no longer have any support. The straps have rubbed deep calluses into the sides of my feet. At first, the footbed was so comfy and great for long distances but they just do not last. For the price, you're better off going with some thing else. I don't have other footwear to wear on my trip and these are now destroying the ball of my foot. Bummed!

ugly shoe. really dislike the color...
I have an older (4+ years) AWESOME bright purple pair that have literally traveled all over the world... looking to replace. Sizing on new TEVAs is not the same, and I absolutely hate the dull colors.

I loved the look and initially the support and overall feel about these Teva's. I purchased the light blue and just loved them. I wore them just around the house to make adjustments to the straps if needed. The left foot toe strap was a bit tight and rubbing so I loosened less than 1/8 inch, but sadly when I did that the velcro rubbed the top of my top like sandpaper....well that was not going to make happy toes so I returned them to the store where I bought them. So basically, you cant' make even a tiny adjustment to this sandal. Made me very sad as I just loved them....

Check out my photos. Ugh. What’s with the TOO SHORT VELCRO???? I have this almost exact shoe from TEVA without the ankle strap. Since my fav TEVA slide is no longer made, I went with this version with the identical footbed AND front strap designs EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT this new version “short changes.” Narrow feet BEWARE. ? You’ll have floppy, loose horizontal straps.

I purchased these sandals to try, hoping that they would have an arch that would work for me. Unfortunately, they did not. The arch was not as good and the footbed was not as soft as my original sandals. I currently have a pair of Teva Stratum s/n 6430 that are 35 years old, I know this because I bought them to take on my honeymoon. I was very upset when the sole of the left sandal came off while swimming in a river and was lost. I am currently dealing with plantar fasciitis and these where one of the only pair of footwear I could wear to alleviate some of the pain. Soooo.... disappointed, to say the least. Please bring back a sandal with a serious arch support, these are the only ones I have ever owned and I loved them. I will be sending back this new pair.
